Chapter 12- An Adventure Part 1

"Don't you just love the thrill of an adventure?!" Anne asks

"Um y-yeah" Gilbert said shyly.

Anne gasp "Gilbert Blythe have you never been on an adventure?!?" Anne says worried.

"Well..." Gilbert says

"I can't believe it! Have you ever had fun!"Anne asks

"Pfft of course I have Anne" Gilbert says

Anne raises her eyebrow

"Oh really name one time you had fun" Anne asks

"Well w-when... umm I-I" Gilbert says as he scratches the back of his head embarrassed.

"Oh I feel the deepest sorrow for you Gilbert, in fact, cancel all your plans today we are going on an adventure!" Anne says excitedly.

Gilbert knew he had to apprentice in the doctor's office today but he couldn't bare taking away Anne's excitement, he could always say he was sick.

"Okay then" Gilbert says as he lightly chuckles.

I'm back! For what seemed forever I finally published! I know it's short but I need to add this backstory before publishing the next chapter (which is already edited and ready and is as long as my normal chapters). The next chapter will be published tomorrow, and it's filled with shirbert moments sooo get ready.
