It might sound a little selfish, but Sunday's have always been 'Me Time.' I rarely have plans on a Sunday, I just usually spend the day relaxing on my own, doing the things I liked. No one ever seemed to mind.
It was my psychologists idea actually.Yeah, I saw a psychologist for a few months after everything that happened with mum. Well, that was six years ago, and still every Sunday is Me Time. It's helped a lot.
After the day and night I'd had the previous day, I felt like lounging around, doing nothing. So that's exactly what I did.
But Monday meant school. I was slightly excited, it would be Hannah's first day at my school. So here I am, dragging myself out of bed and into the shower at some ungodly hour. This shouldn't be legal on a Monday.
Hannah had texted me yesterday, and I decided it'd be best if we met up and got to school together, so that she knew where to go.
After stepping out of the shower and blow drying my strawberry smelling hair, I put my school uniform on, some eyeliner and that was it, I was down the stairs, grabbing my packed lunch off the bench as I raced out the door and across the road to Hannah's place.
I glanced down at my phone. 7:25am. The bus came at 7:30... We had to walk to the bus stop so that meant Hannah had to be ready...right now.
Looking up from my phone, I saw her running from her house, flinging the door shut in the process.
"Told you I'd be ready on time! ....Just. "
She laughed, adjusting her bag.
The walk to the bus stop was quick paced and uneventful, we had one mission: get on the bus.
Mission accomplished, with seconds to spare.
It was only a quick bus trip to school and shortly we were standing infront of what some people like to call the 'Gates of Hell'
"Alright come on, lets get you to the office before the bell goes. "
I directed Hannah toward the office, where we picked up her timetable, to see we had similar classes. I smiled and off we went to our roll classes.

"So? Did you enjoy your first day at Teenage Educational Prison?"
I joked, as Hannah and I walked along the footpath home.
"It wasn't all that bad actually. I just miss the boys....and Ashton.."
"AWW you miss me!?"
A recognisable voice came from our right. I looked to see a familiar car driving along next to us at walking pace, Ashton's smiling face sticking out of the open window as Michael drove, nervously looking in the rear view mirror every few seconds as though he would be caught by police for going too slow.
"ASHTON!!!!!"
Hannah squealed as the car pulled to a stop. "Wait, what are you doing here?"
"Get in girls! We're celebrating."
"Celebrating what?"
I asked, watching Hannah get in the car, no questions asked. She gave me a blank look, leaving the door open as she slid over to the seat closest to the driving side, leaving a space for me behind Ashton.
"Celebrating Hannah's first day at a new school of course. Get in, Lukey will be there!"
Ashton smirked as I hopped into the car.
At the mention of Luke's name my breath caught in my throat. Why did I act like this? Ahh it was crazy. 'Don't think about it Lexi', I told myself over and over.
After a short drive we arrived outside McDonald's.
"Typical Michael, couldn't go without his Maccas for five minutes!"
Hannah laughed, getting out of the car and embracing Ashton in a hug. Euurghh, I decided to leave the two of them alone and proceeded to go inside with Michael.
"How's things?" He asked, scanning the room for who I'm guessing was Calum and Luke.
"Pretty good actually, and yourself?"
He must've found them because he suddenly took off toward a booth in the back. I followed, keeping my eyes on the floor in front of me.
"Yeah, good. Not a big fan of Monday's though, y'know. Weekends don't last long enough."
"Hahaha, yeah I think most people would agree with that. Monday's are a killer!"
I looked up, making eye contact with him. He really was a nice guy, they all were, beneath their boyishness. But that was only to be expected I guess, they had no reason to be jerks.
We arrived at the booth, Michael sliding in next to Calum, leaving my only option to sit next to the one and only...(you guessed it) Luke Hemmings.
We made eye contact, those ocean blue orbs melting my insides, as usual. He had a mouth full of food but he still managed to smile and make it look attractive. Damn, why was I thinking these things?!
"Heeeey Lexi!"
Calum chirped, pushing a cheeseburger and medium fries toward me. "Luke and I already ordered food as you can see... We know everyone else's usual order except yours. I hope that stuff is okay!"
"Mm it's great, thanks."
I opened my burger, realising how hungry I actually was. Michael was already into his second cheeseburger as Hannah and Ashton finally arrived at the booth, Ashton sliding in next to Michael and Hannah opposite him next to me. Calum gave them their food and we all just ate in silence, well.. Other than the munching sounds of food being consumed!
After every last chip was gone, and the boys had done what they claimed to be "surveyance of the children's playground" (but was actually just them acting like the little kids at heart we all knew they were) we left in two separate cars, back to Calum's house, for band practice.
This was the second time in less than a week I was allowed in on their practice. It was also the one of the only things that reminded me that they were a fairly famous band. Other than that I just saw them as four teenage boys I was friends with.
The room was just as messy as last time, but having been here before, It didn't bother me. Hell, it didn't bother me to begin with! Calum looked more relaxed this time too. They all did. I think they were all less nervous to practice, because they didn't have to 'impress' me.
Hannah and I sat on the floor again, tapping along with the music. Personally, my favourite song was 'Everything I Want', but all the songs they played were absolutely amazing. Especially those where Luke just sang. He didn't have to focus on his guitar so those dreamy eyes could lock on mine a little longer..
The boys covered some songs in their practice too, talking about which they could put up as YouTube videos and such. Hannah and I sang along, and I figured out that not only was Ashton a good singer, but Hannah was too. A singing couple! How cute. Maybe if the boys ever needed a girl backup singer they'd ask her.
"You guys want drinks?"
Luke asked. The others nodded. He looked at me on the way past, running his fingers through his hair. I found myself standing and following him out to the kitchen.
"Ah yeah he'll need a hand."
I mumbled, giving the others an excuse on my way.
The door clicked shut behind me.
Luke grabbed me by the hand and pushed me into the kitchen, closing the door behind us, before pulling me into a tight hug.
"Look Luke, about the other night when we were walking home.. I'm stupid. I should've let you kiss me."
I babbled, unable to control the words coming from my mouth.
"No, I'm sorry Lex. I shouldn't have tried to kiss you in the first place. We just met, and I was rushing you, and pushing you too fast and I didn't even know if you felt the same-"
I threw myself at him, pressing my lips hard on his. I couldn't take it anymore, I'd been thinking about him too much, and I'd wanted to do this since the moment our eyes met that day at the park.
He was shocked at first. Well of course he would be, I cut him off completely by kissing him! Anyone would be shocked! Quickly he was kissing back, and I wrapped my arms around his neck. He had a firm grip on my waist, rubbing circles lightly with his thumbs.
He pulled away slowly, leaving our foreheads touching as he looked deep in my eyes.
I smiled, happy with what I'd just done.
"About freaking time that happened Luke Hemmings."

A/N: There you go! A bit of a long chapter!! Was it what you were expecting? (;
Also, I'd just like to say that I definitely didn't spend a few days here on holiday on a computer playing The Sims, creating a 'Hemmings' family, of Luke and myself, and our cat Cupcake, (who was a famous actor btw..) And we most definitely didn't both die in a house fire that was caused when I set fire to a pile of leaves.. <\3
Nope. Definitely didn't happen. (; (;
