Chapter VII- 𝑊𝑜𝑟𝑠𝑡 𝑐ℎ𝑖𝑙𝑑ℎ𝑜𝑜𝑑

It was around 6 pm on Monday, two students we're making a fire in the middle of a circle ehich consisted of giant rocks that they could sit on. They successfully created the fire but the fire was getting really big.

"*𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡* 𝐒𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧!"-Connie yelled as he waa fanning the fire

"𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 *𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡* 𝐟𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐭 𝐲- 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐠𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫!"-Sasha demanded

Connie ran into the boys cabin and a few seconds later, he walked out with a bucket full of water, he jogged over to the fire and poured all the water on the fire, the water smothered the fire and once again it was dark.

"𝐎𝐤.. 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐰𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧"-Sasha said

"𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐱𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞.."-Connie finished

"𝐇𝐞𝐲 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠?"-Connie and Sasha heard Ms.Hangi ask

"𝐎𝐡 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐧-𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐰𝐞'𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲."-Sasha assured Hangi

Hangi cocked her eyebrow then slightly nodded and walked away over to Mr.Erwin.

Connie and Sasha sighed in relief and got back to starting the fire.___________________________

"𝐖𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐮𝐲𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐢𝐭, 𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐲."-Historia said as she walked out of the girls cabin with Ymir by her side.

"𝐘'𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫."-Ymir bitterly said

Connie and Sasha glared at her.

"𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐝𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫."-Connie snapped back

"𝐒𝐡𝐮𝐭 𝐮𝐩 𝐜𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐮𝐜-"-Ymir was cut off by Historia grabbing her wrist

"𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐬𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐡 𝐦𝐲 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬."-Historia said as she facepalmed with her unnocupied hand.

"𝐘𝐞𝐚 𝐲𝐞𝐚 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲."-Ymir said and patted Historia's round head while glaring at the bald boy.

"𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐮𝐲𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠."-Armin said as he sat down on one of the small boulders.

"𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐛𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬."-Connie hesitated before saying

"𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐲."-Ymir asked as she took a few steps forward

"𝐎𝐤 𝐨𝐤 𝐥𝐞𝐭'𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧, 𝐘𝐦𝐢𝐫 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞."-Sasha said as she grabbed Connie's shoulders

"𝐇𝐮𝐫𝐭 𝐦𝐞?! 𝐈'𝐦 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐰!"-Connie beamed

"𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐮𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐰, 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐭."-Sasha said with a smug face

Everyone but Connie laughed at Sasha's statement.

"𝐍𝐚𝐡 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐞'𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐥."-Ymir said as she playfully punched Connie's shoulder.

"𝐘𝐞𝐚 𝐬𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐭'𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐚 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞, 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞."-Jean said

"𝐖𝐚𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐒𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐢, 𝐄𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚?"-Armin asked

"𝐎𝐡 𝐮𝐡 𝐒𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐢 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐫.𝐄𝐫𝐰𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚 𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠."-Historia said as she pointed at the raven-haired girl that stepped out of the girls cabin.

Mikasa was wearing an oversized grey tee, camo shorts and white slide slippers with black fuzzy socks. She came out the exact time as Eren as they made their way to the students who we're already sitting down arund the fire. Mikasa sat down next to Annie and Eren sat down next to Armin.

"𝐀𝐥𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲?"-Liam asked

"𝐋𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐞."-Annie said as she was smirking

"𝐍𝐨𝐩𝐞, 𝐈'𝐦 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐛𝐲𝐞."-Liam said as he got up walked away a long with a few other students.

So now there was only Mikasa, Connie, Sasha, Annie, Ymir, Historia, Reiner, Beruteruto, Eren, Armin, Jean and Marco.

"𝐀𝐥𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐈 𝐠𝐨 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭."- Sasha said as she took a bite out of her gronala bar.

"𝐮𝐡𝐦.. 𝐎𝐤𝐚𝐲 𝐉𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐞?"-Saaha asked as she pointed at Jean

Jean thought for a moment before deciding an answer

"𝐔𝐡 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐞, 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭."-Jean said

An evil smirk grew on Sasha's face as her eyes moved from Jean and Mikasa repeatedly, she sighed and pointed at Mikasa.

"𝐈 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚."-Sasha said

"𝐈𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐛𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥."-Historia said.

"𝐘𝐞𝐚.."-Mikasa said as she scratched her nape

Sasha shook her head.

"𝐍𝐨𝐩𝐞, 𝐉𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝'𝐯𝐞 𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡, 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐭, 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐬."-Sasha said as she clasped her hands together

Jean sighed and moved closer to Mikasa. Eren didn't approve of this whatsoever, everyone was staringbat them waiting for it to happen. Jean inched closer and his lips met Mikasa's cheek, he quickly pecked her cheeck and then scooted away while Mikasa was blushing intensely. A frown grew on Sasha's face.

"𝐀 𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐬, 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐝𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐚**."-Sasha complained

𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑖𝑠 𝑠𝑡𝑢𝑝𝑖𝑑-𝐸𝑟𝑒𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ𝑡

Jean quickly shook his head and glared at Sasha.

"𝐀𝐥𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐦𝐲 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧, 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐞?"-Jean asked as he crossed his arms

Without a second thought, Connie answered.

"𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡."-Connie said confidently

"𝐀𝐥𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐨'𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐡?"-Jean asked immediately after

Connie tensed up and totally lost his confidence.

"𝐮𝐡.. 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐞?"-Connie asked as he gave an awkward smile

"𝐍𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫."-Annie said

Now everyone but Eren was begging him to answer even though they already knew it themselves, they wanted to hear the girl's name come out of his mouth.

"𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐞... 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐒𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐚."-Connie said as he looked away

Sasha and Connie started blushing while Ymir and Annie kept teasing them.

"𝐀𝐥𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐄𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐞."-Connie asked

"𝐍𝐨𝐩𝐞, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠."-Eren said coldly

"𝐎𝐡 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐧!"-Everyone begged Eren

"𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝.."-Ymir said.

Ymir knew very well that Eren was competitive and doesn't get scared easily so this was just the perfect way for her to tip him off.

"𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡."-Eren said plainly

"𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐲?"-Connie asked

Eren froze on the spot, the flashbacks of his parents getting killed haunted him, pictures flashing repeatedly, Eren's eyes widened as he started sweating

"𝐔𝐡𝐦 𝐄𝐫𝐞𝐧?"-Ymir said as she waved her hand infront of him. Mikasa was confused and kind of worried.

"𝐄𝐫𝐞𝐧?"-Mikasa asked

Eren was brought back to reality and saw everyone staring at him. He faked a cough and shook his head.

"𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞."-Eren said plainly

"𝐈'𝐦 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐝."-And with that Eren got up and left.

Mikasa got up and followed Eren, he didn't go to his cabin but walked to the small lake in the middle of the forest, Mikasa saw him sitting down staring at his reflection in the lake.

"𝐄𝐫𝐞𝐡?"-Mikasa asked as she walked closer to him.

"𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭."-Eren asked coldly

"𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞, 𝐈 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭-"-Mikasa was cut off by Eren

"𝐈𝐭𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬."-Eren said and got up about to walk away until Mikasa had grabbed his arm. Mikasa felt something liquidy as she grasped his arm, she looked up at Eren with a confused face and then slowly rolled up his sleeve.
