Chapter : 6 Wait what?!

Okay one word and I will literally spell it out for you. Toby watching me eat a person intently was, A.W.K.W.A.R.D. It almost put me off, almost. I glared at him discreetly and he didn't notice. How I wanted to slap that twitchy head of his, it was getting on my nerves. I turned around and glared at him full on. After he saw my glare he averted his eyes. I sighed. I decided I was full and stood up. I wiped my mouth on the man's bed sheets. I cocked my head to the side watching Toby shuffle around awkwardly. I snickered catching his attention. I sighed in agitation hearing sirens in the distance, I swear if police really wanted to catch us they wouldn't alert us of their presence.

I grabbed an unsuspecting Toby's hand and dragged him away from the building. This reminded me a lot of when Jack and I did this. The only difference being that it wasn't awkward because he eats organs too. I looked at Toby as we ran along and tried to read his expression without cheating. He looked, excited? But that's normal, I couldn't really read the other expression, maybe confusion or something?

He looked at me and I grinned, I stopped dead in my tracks. He let go of my hand and I put it to the ground, (f/c) veins started showing through my skin glowing vibrantly. I watched intently as the police car finally started catching up. Then,  it smashed. A giant piece of tar and rock slammed out of the ground lifting the car and smashing it. Toby looked at me. I took my hand away from the ground and the veins faded. My brows furrowed then my lips that were pursed into a thin line of concentration twisted into my sick Cheshire grin. I grabbed Toby and we took off into the forest and back to the mansion.

Upon arrival I turned into a cat and Toby picked my up, surprising me. The first one who caught my 'eye' was eyeless Jack. I felt a hiss resonate in my throat. It was still, 'morning' for us, kinda, considering we live in the dark hours of night. Then Jane stood up and grabbed me off Toby, I meowed and she took me to her room. She placed me on the floor and I took the time to inspect it thoroughly. I ended up stuck under the bed, hollering out pleads in cat speak. She laughed and pulled me out of my predicament. She brought me up to her face to look in my 'eyes' and I meowed in gratitude before pawing her face. "I wish you could stay at the mansion, kitty," she said, placing me in her lap. I snuggled there and closed my eyes. I yawned and she laughed. "What's this?" She asked. I turned my head to see her picking up the necklace from around my neck. I gave an unsure meow. The necklace had shrunken to collar size, I didn't even do anything to it. She reached for it but as soon as her fingers made contact her hand retracted. "Hot!" She squeaked. I touched it, nothing.

I looked up at her with a 'sorry you got hurt' look. She must have noticed, "I'm fine," she reassured. I meowed jumping off her lap and biting the bottom of her black dress. "Hey!" she laughed. I looked up at her with my infamous Cheshire smile.

The week had passed quickly and soon it was time for Jeff to take you back. But you had other plans. Toby, Grinny and Eyeless were the only ones who knew about your 'real' form with an exception to Rumour as she was out killing. So, they were going to help you hide the day away. Slender was meant to be coming home around 3 in the 'afternoon' for the night pastas. So now you had to wait out the night on the roof with Toby while Grinny and Eyeless keep Jeff and the others away.

You stretched out on the cold metal, deciding it was more comfortable in cat form. You streched again, this time as a cat. You laid on you back next to Toby looking at the moon. You dropped to illusion around him so the black ooze continued its way down your furry cheeks. Toby pet your stomach and you looked at him in thought. "Isn't it awkward for you knowing that your pretty much patting another person on the belly?" You asked. He looked at you, "I guess at first, but you have really soft fur... does it bother you?" He asked. "At first, but not anymore. I just consider it right to pet my cat qualities," You responded. "How do you even speak as a cat?" he looked at you puzzeled. You laughed a little, "I have no idea!"

You guys managed to successfuly wait out until slender came home. Some where in the middle of that you managed to fall asleep in Toby's lap. The forest around you was silent as it glistened in the moonlight. What ever small animals that lived there were deadly silent as the night continued on. The moon grew high in the sky and Toby got lost in his thoughts, while petting you. Neither of you noticed when Slender's tall figure emerged from the trees, looking at you intently. Somehow in your sleep you had managed to turn into a person. Surprising the shit out of Toby. But he didn't wake you, he simply laid your head on his lap and waited for you to wake up by yourself.

You had no dreams, just a dark, comforting sleep.

Soon after slender got home you woke up. You could smell fear and nervousness wafting through the air. You were surprised to find yourself in human form on Toby's lap. "T-Toby?" You asked unsurely and let out a yawn. "Yeah?" he responded, "I think Slender's back," he looked taken aback. "What?" you asked. "How did you know his name?" He questioned uneasily. "I know alot of things," Is all you said before jumping up from his lap and leaping off the roof to surprise him. You landed on your feet fine. You looked up to see him peering over the edge worriedly. You grinned up at him giving a thumbs up. He took a safer approach, sliding down the water pipe and jumping from the second story. Ending up in a heavily leaved bush. Your grin just widened at the sight and you ran off to help him up.

You sighed, moment of truth is coming up. "Hey Tobias?" You asked, liking your little pet name for him. "Yeah?" He asked with his eyes practically lighting up with fireworks, he liked his little nickname. "My powers seem to be growing stronger, can I try something on you?" You asked. "Yeah," he said standing in front of you. You consentrated trying to freeze his movements, but not his breathing or thought or other significant things to keep him alive. It was surprisingly easy, then you put your hand to the ground, (f/c) veins again popping up vibrantly glowing under your ashy skin. Then you removed your hand. "Okay, move," You said. He made no movements, but his heartrate sped up. "IT WORKED!" you cheered, stomping on the ground removing the seal. As soon as it broke his eyes widened and he took a step fowards.

After he managed to calm down you made your way to the door. You could still smell the fear and nervousness still radiating from the house. Toby opened the door and stepped in first, you behind him. All the pasta's heads snapped your way. They all stopped what ever they were doing preparing for a fight, everyone except Grinny and Jack. But before they could leap at you, you closed your eyes and selected who to place seals on. Then you stomped your foot and opened your 'eyes'. Everyone looked stunned in shock. Toby laughed and started poking masky who was unable to retaliate. You could see his ears going red with anger.

Jack and Grinny walked up to you. "Take me to your ledaaarr!" I said bowing down dramatically, earing a few laughs from them and Toby. "Oki doki!" Toby called running in front of you and up the stairs. You followed and Grinny stepped into your pace. Eyeless stayed a pace behind you.

Eventually you came to a stop at a big black door with a bright red circle with an X through it. The proxy symbol. Toby looked at you and you nodded. He knocked on the door then stepped aside so you could see the door, face on. "Come in Cheshire and Cheshire only," a static voice boomed in from the other side. Your ears flattened on your head in displeasure. Then you reached for the handle, feeling the cool metal under your fingertips. As soon as you stepped in the room you stomped on the ground breaking the seal. You heard alot of angry and upset shouts, but Slender slienced them telepathically. Then he turned back to you. You could smell something radiating off the figure in front of you and as much as you didn't want to believe it, you found it to be fear. You tasted the air to confirm, same results. You wondered what he was scared of and took a step fowards, then it hit you. The 'almighty powerful' slenderman was afraid of you.

You sighed. "Why are you scared?" You couldn't help yourself. "What do you mean?" he asked evening out his voice. You looked at him. He sat up straight."You want to join the household, no?" he asked when you said nothing. "Well first I need to check something," he said. You nodded. He stood up and hesitantly walked over to you. You let him pull your hoodie and skive neck down to expose your neck. He nodded to himself, on your neck there was a cross cut in. It was half black and half white. Then he moved his vision up to the back of your left ear. Anothe cross was cut in, this time it was red. You watched through his eyes. He stood back and you turned around to face him.

He looked down at you hesitently then got down to his knees and kneeled. "You have us under your command, chosen one." You nodded, you did research as he was looking at the crosses. You were currently the most powerful being on the surface. Soon you will gain all your powers then you will be the most powerful being in the universe. When you told Toby to stop the other day he had to as everyone in this house is bound to your words.

"You don't have to kneel, we're practically family, slender," you said, no emotion hinting in your voice. He nodded and stood up. "The others are outside the door," he said. You nodded and stepped towards the door.

You flung the door open surprising all the eavs dropping pastas. You looked at them and held a hand up, grabbing the bridge of your nose with the other one. You sighed. "Okay, Okay, come on," you said walking to the lounge room. You stood on the coffee table and the pastas glared at you for your disrespectfulness towards the furniture. You waited for them to all walk in, you seemed to notice Jeff's glare the most. You felt a little guilty because he brought you here. You scratched the back of your neck sheepishly, "Okay you might know me better as this," you closed your eyes and turned into your cat form, not bothering to create the eye illusion. When their expressions didn't change you put it on. That got the gasps going.

They growled feeling betrayed. You dropped the illusion and averted your gaze before jumping off the table and turning back into a person. Jeff's growl resonated louder in your ears then the others, you could feel his eyes burning into you. "YOU TRICKED US!" He yelled and leapt towards you, tackling you to the ground. "WHAT ELSE WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO?!" You yelled in his face as we rolled around the ground. "YOU LIED TO US!" He yelled back. "YOU NEVER ASKED!" you spit back. You continued rolling around until slender's voice sounded. "I would prefer if you didn't yell disrespectfully at the new leader of the house Jeff," He said. Everyone turned to look at slender. Your eyesockets just widened, "WHAT!?" everyone yelled in sync.
