Chapter 9

~ Marinette POV~

My mom just called and now I'm walking to my childhood house.Of course I have to call Adrien when I'm leaving the house and when I'm coming back. I took out my phone and started calling my kitty.

" Hi Adrien I just left, in like half an hour I'll be back " i said when he responded.

" I'll right princess call me when you get home safe. Love you " he said happily.

" Love you too my kitty " i said smiling to myself.

I ended the call and continued walking to my parents house.

" Marinette aren't you going to transform ? " asked Tikki with worry in her voice.

" No... it's such a beautiful night. I'll just walk but don't worry I'll transform when we'll come back " i said looking at my kwamii who was hiding in my purse.

" Fine...i trust you" she said and with that she got inside my purse.

In less than 10 minutes I was at my parents door, knocking. They opened it, letting me inside.

" Hello mama and papa " i said hugging them, happy to see them again.

" Hello dear" papa said giving me a bear hug.

" Hello sweetie " mama said hugging me back.

We talked about those past two weeks.It turns out that my grandma did pass away and they didn't want to stress me with the funeral because I was already having too much on my plate.

The atmosphere was getting sad and i don't like seeing my parents suffer so ... I have to tell them the good news that i have.

" Mom, dad i know it's not the best moment to tell you this but ..." i said sitting up from the chair.

" But ? " My mother says blowing her nose, they looked at me wanting to hear the news.

" I'm pregnant " i said smiling and putting a hand on my belly.

They looked at me shocked. Neither saying a word. I was getting a little nervous, are they mad or disappointed.Then they smiled and begin jumping up and down.

" Did you hear that Tom?! We're going to be grandparents !!! " mama said hugging papa very tightly.

" I can't believe it. How far along are you, do you know the gender , what did Adrien say , any names ??? " papa said excited for those news.

" 10 days, not yet, I'm going to tell him soon ,  you guys are the first one to know so don't tell a soul and I'm thinking Emma for a girl and Hugo for a boy " i said answering every question he had.

" Oh what wonderful news. I'm so happy for you " said mom smiling, giving me a hug.

We talked about baby stuff and how to tell Adrien the news and they give me a gorgeous hair accessory for my wedding day.

" This was in our family for generations. My great grandma always told me that this will bring luck to our family and a happy marriage" mama said giving me the hear accessory.

" Thank you so much mom it's beautiful and it will go perfect with my wedding dress " i said, kissing her cheek.  I smiled putting the gift into my purse very carefully.

After talking about everything for an hour I decided it was time to go. It was getting late and I'm getting tired, Adrien must be wandering if i got home as well.

" I think it's time for me to go home" i said getting up from the chair i was sitting in.

" Are you sure you don't want your father to drive you home ? It's almost midnight it's not safe ..." mama said putting a hand on my shoulder.

" Don't worry mom you guys are probably tired plus maybe I'll run into Ladybug and she'll give me a ride home "  i said trying to assure them, I'm sure going to be ok it's not the first time i walk alone at night.

" All right honey please call us when you get home so we can sleep in peace knowing that my daughter and nephew are ok " said papa smiling at me.We hugged, sayed our goodbyes and i left.

After some walking i got into an alley ready to transform.Tikki exited my purse and looked at me.

" You know the words " she said reading to transform.

I nodded " Tikki spots- " i began saying but i was interrupted by a voice.

" Well well well if it isn't Marinette Dupain-Cheng ..." I know that hideous voice .I turned around seeing no other then Lila Rossi with a big smirked across her face........And something shiny in her hand.
