Chapter 6: Broken Promise

Months has passed and I've been really successful. I've played a few background people on shows and it's been fun. I've been having fun with my friends especially with Jason. Since him and Selena aren't at the same college I get the chance to talk to him everyday. We have almost every class together. I'm still with Shawn and sadly I'm losing feelings for him. Hailey says that Shawn's been flirting with girls at his college.

I've cried myself to sleep every night because I was scared of losing him. Sometimes I lay beside Jason crying while he holds me. Boy have I missed that feeling. Today Shawn was coming to see me. Willow and Khalil had a date and Ariana and Jaden and Jason were down at the cafe that's across the street. I was completely over everything. I was bored and didn't really want to see him. He knocked on the door and I opened it.

"Hey babe !"

"Sup."

Shawn leaned over to kiss me but I turned my head so he didn't get my lips. I could tell I pissed him off a bit when I did that, but I have a good reason for it. He walked in and sat in Willow's rolling chair. I sat on my bed texting Jason back. He was telling me little cheesy jokes. I was smiling and giggling to myself.

"So babe, how's everything going ?", he asked me. I wasn't really paying attention. "Huh ? Oh yeah, great. What about you ?", I ask. "Great just not the same without you.", he says. I roll my eyes. "Mmhmm."

My phone beeped again. This time it was Willow. She was telling me about her date with Khalil. She said she thinks Khalil is the one for her. That was great news for me cause Willow was not interested in boys. And not in a gay way I mean she didn't have time in her life to worry about a boy. But since Jaden introduced her to Khalil she's been all over that boy. But back to me and Shawn. He was getting pretty annoyed by me being on my phone. He then asked another question.

"You made any friends baby ?" "Plenty.", I say not really in the mood to talk to him. "Are most of them guys ?", he asked. "No, why ?", I asked him looking up from my phone. "I don't wanna lose you, that's all." "Too late for that buddy.", I whisper to myself. "What ?"

"Nothing Shawn.", I say with a sigh. "What's wrong with you !?", he says screaming out of no where. "What's your problem Shawn ??", I ask. "I'm trying to have a nice conversation with my girlfriend but she's constantly on her phone. It's like you're tired of me !", he says. "No I think it's the other way around Shawn. Hailey's been telling me everything. That you're flirting with some girl."

"Uhhh.......proof ?", he says scratching his neck. I whipped out my laptop and showed Shawn a picture of him and the girl posing together. His hands were super close to her ass. I gave him a evil look. He looked like he was about to choke. Next thing you know my phone vibrates, it's Jason telling me they're on their way back from the cafe. I smiled and texted him back.

"That's it Y/n, who the hell are you texting !?", he says reaching for my phone. I snatch my phone away from him quickly. I don't even want him to touch me. "Why is that your business !?", I scream at him. "Cause I'm your boyfriend !" "You sure don't act like it ! I bet you're sleeping with multiple girls. I bet you're dating another girl right now !"

"Shut up Y/n !!", he says through gritted teeth. "You shut up Shawn ! You know what, I'm sick of this so just leave ! You're a fucking asshole !" I regret saying that cause after those words Shawn punched me in my face. Right in my left eye. I fell back and hit my head on my dresser. After that everything was blurry. Then, I saw Shawn pacing the room. He was horrified too. He was breathing hard like he regretted hitting me.

"Look what you made me do ! This is your fault !", he said running his fingers through his hair. I couldn't speak. I tried to tell him to get out but the words wouldn't come out right. "No babe, don't say anything.", he says stepping closer to me. "Get the fuck away from me ! Don't touch me !",

"I'll see you later, babe."

After that Shawn left. I began to lose sight in my left eye. I got up from off the floor. My head was bleeding. I went to the bathroom and nursed myself. I fixed my bleeding head and the only thing I can do for my eye is hide it with my sunglasses. I looked at my eye and I began to cry. How did I end up in a situation like this ? I thought Shawn was the one. He broke his promise. Next thing I know Jason, Jaden and Ariana walked in.

"Hey Shawty we back !!", said Jason throwing up his arms. "Oh my gosh, you should've came with us !", said Ariana laughing. "You know I had to meet Shawn.", I say adjusting my sunglasses. "That dick head. Just kidding but still you could've invited him.", said Jaden. "Nah, he wouldn't want to hang.", I say with a small grin. "Well anyway, why are you wearing sunglasses shawty ?", asked Jason getting close to me. "I don't know.", I say trying to brush them off.

"Take em off so we can see those pretty green eyes.", said Jason. "No thanks, I'm good.", I say. "Y/n take them off." They all walked towards me. Jason wrapped his arms around my waist. Jaden began to tickle me while Ari tried to get the sunglasses off. I was trying my best not to let them get them off but I failed. Ariana took my glasses off and then her smile faded into a frown. "Y/n. Your eye.", she said horrified.

"What is she talking about Y/n ? Turn around.", said Jason. He touched my shoulder but I pulled away. "No.", I say. "Y/n, turn around please.", he said calmly. I didn't want to turn around, but they were going to find out sooner or later so I did as told. I turned around slowly. I looked down so Jason couldn't see my eye all the way. Then Jaden and Ari saw the bruise on my head. "Oh my god, Y/n your head !", said Ariana on the verge of tears. "What the hell happened !?", asked Jaden. I was trying not to cry myself. "Look up at me Y/n.", said Jason.

"Jason please.", I say trying to not look up. "Y/n please just do it." I looked up and opened my eyes. I looked back and saw Ari already had a tear coming from her eye. Jaden was furious. "Y/n, you have to tell us. Who did this to you.", said Jason as he put his hands on my shoulder. Jaden was pacing back and forth. "Tell me, I swear I'll kill him for bothering you !!", he said. "Jaden calm down please.", said Ariana. "I'm sorry man, it's just Y/n's my sister and I promised I'd protect her.", he said with a tear slipping his eye.

"Y/n, what happened while we were gone ?", Ariana asked me. A tear fell out my eye. The horrifying event that happened. I didn't want to talk about it. My friends are worried about me so I have no choice.

"Shawn came over, and we tried to make conversation. I didn't really wanna talk because Hailey had told me a few days ago that Shawn was cheating on me. Then, after you texted me, Shawn tried to grab my phone. I told him I knew about him cheating. I showed him proof too.", I tell them. Now I have to get to the hardest part. My eyes already had tears flowing from them. "I started saying things. He told me to shut up but I kept going. I pissed him off and he hit me. I fell back and hit my head on the dresser. Shawn started screaming at me and telling me that it was my fault that he punch me. Then, I made him leave. He's right. It is my fault.", I say crying.

"It's not your fault Y/n", said Jason. Jason embraced me in a big hug. I squeezed him tight. I started to cry. I was bawling my eyes out. I didn't want to let him go. I could tell he didn't want to let me go either. "I'm calling Hailey.", said Ariana running out of the room. "And I'll call Khalil and Willow.", said Jaden going with Ariana.

Me and Jason stayed hugging but we collapsed on the floor. I was now on top of him. We were still connected. Ariana and Jaden had left the room. Then, Jason asked an unexpected question. "Why did you lose feelings for me ?", he asked. I was confused. He should already know that reason. "Why did you lose feelings for me and why didn't you tell me you liked me ?", he asked. "Because you were always busy once you got in the gang business. And for the record, I didn't lose feelings for you. It was the other way around. And how I knew you were over me for sure, you started dating Selena. You dropped out. I didn't tell you cause you never paid attention to me."

"I'm so sorry.", he said grabbing my hand. "It's fine Jason. I mean things change.", I say removing my hand. I still like Jason. He's with Selena now though. "Y/n, I just wanted to say that–" Before Jason could finish his sentence the door barged open. Me and Jason was still laying on the floor hugging each other. It was Selena. She was wearing a business like outfit. "Jason babe, I need you to–What the hell is going on !?", she yelled. Jason slowly stood up and rolled his eyes. "Nothing babe. We weren't doing anything."

"Yeah, something happened and he was just–", I try to talk but Selena cuts me off. "Shut up, bitch ! I don't wanna hear anything from you.", she said pointing at me. Before I could say anything, Jason got really defensive. "Selena, calm the fuck down ! We didn't do anything. And I don't know why you're so worked up about this. You've been cheating on me since day one !", he said. I covered my mouth so they wouldn't hear me laughing. "Selena, it's over now. He found out.", I say.

"Fuck off ! And what happened to your eye ?", she asked me. "Her boyfriend punched her.", said Jason answering for me. "She probably deserved it.", said Selena smirking. I pushed Jason out to way and walked towards her. "You know what Selena ? I'm going to kick your ass right here and right now !", I say taking my bracelet off. "Y/n, that's not necessary.", said Jason trying to hold me back. "No Jason. Let the bitch come for me. I bet I'll make her right eye look like the left.", said Selena taking off her jacket.

I've had it with Selena's shit. She's been bullying me all since high school. Those days are about to end. I jumped on her and we tumbled to the floor. She really wasn't even fighting back. I was beating her head in. She was screaming and crying. That made my confidence grow higher. Jason wrapped his arms about me and pulled me off her. Selena's face was red and she had a bloody nose. Her hair was a mess and it was all in her face. Selena got up. She was wobbling around trying to catch her balance.

"I can't believe you did this to me ! You'll be hearing from my lawyers !", she said picking up her jacket on her way out the door. "What lawyers, dumb bitch !?", I say. I had not one scratch on me. "This isn't over bitch !", she said. Selena grabbed her purse and walked out. I looked at Jason and he looked at me. He smiled and hugged me. Then, he ran to the door and looked down the hall where Selena was still walking.

"Oh and Selena ?", Jason screamed down the hall. "Yes my Jason ?", she said turning around with the ugliest smile on her face. "It's over !", he said with a smile which made me laugh. "You're gonna miss me when I'm gone you asshole !", she says storming off. "I doubt it.", I say smirking at Jason. Jason walked back inside my room. He closed the door and walked back to me. We started laughing again. Then, I felt a pain on my lip. I think Jason knew what the pain was.

"Y/n, your lip is bleeding.", he said touching my face. "Oh my god, really ?", I ask, touching my lip. "Yes. You have bandages ?", he asked me. "In my bathroom.", I say pointing towards the bathroom.

Jason went to my bathroom and got some stuff. He walked back inside and started nursing me. I looked into his eyes and he looked into mine. His lips were a few feet from mine. He smiled and I blushed and looked away a bit. I laughed because I remembered a memory.

"What you laughing about Shawty ?", said Jason smirking. "How I use to nurse you when you were back from missions a long time ago. And how you nursed me that time when we were running from the cops and we had to jump over a fence and I was wearing shorts and I had a big cut on my leg.", I say trailing my fingers on the large scar that was on my leg. "I remember that too.", said Jason looking at my leg.

"How could you forget ? That was the best night ever.", I say smiling. "Yeah, it actually was.", said Jason. We locked eyes for a bit. I felt a tingling feeling in my stomach as we looked into each other's eyes. "Y/n I miss–" Before Jason finished his sentence Jaden and Ariana came back in. They saw us sitting together. Jaden smiled and Ariana laughed.

"Well, what happened here now ?", he said smirking. "Nothing, just fixing Y/n's lip.", said Jason rubbing my lip. "Her lip wasn't messed up when we left.", said Ariana getting in my face. "I got into a fight.", I say pushing Ariana out of my face. "With who ?" I looked at Jason and we both smiled. "Selena.", we said in unison. "Omg you won didn't you ? Tell me you did !!", said an excited Ariana. "She did. Selena had a bloody nose and a broken heel.", said Jason smirking. "I always knew you could kick ass.", said Jaden ruffling my hair.

"Well, Hailey is downstairs so I'm gonna go get her and bring her to the room.", Ariana said looking at her phone. "And I have to pick Willow and Khalil up cause Khalil's car got totaled.", said Jaden. "Well, you guys go and Jason and I will fix my lip.", I say looking at Jason. "Don't do nothing while we're gone.", said Jaden pointing at us. "Can't promise anything.", said Jason winking at Jaden making him laugh. I playfully hit his arm. "Just kidding.", he said chuckling.

Ariana and Jaden both left and me and Jason were alone again. He went back to fixing my lip again. Still our lips were super close. The stuff he was applying began to burn. "Ouch !"

"I'm sorry did I hurt you ?", he asked concerned about my lip. "No, it's just this shit burns.", I say giggling. "I'll put less on it.", he says cleaning my lip slowly. It was really quiet. Until, Jason got done with my lip. "I miss you Y/n. I miss us. I miss how how we use to flirt with each other. I miss the love we had for each other. I miss the old days. Us. Everyone. The adventures. How close we were. Everything."

"Jason, look at me. You think I don't miss it ? I miss it too. Badly. It's weird cause what we use to do was bad. But I fucking miss it. When Selena popped up in the picture I knew things were gonna change. But now that she's gone I have you to myself. Right ?", I ask him cupping his face in my hands. "Of course, you got me baby. I got you right ?" "Yes Jason I'm yours. I'm bringing Shawn back tomorrow to break up with him.", I tell him. "Call me if you need me, okay ?" I nodded my head.

(Begin to play the song and imagine this happening) We stayed silent for a while. Looking at each other's eyes. Jason licked his lips. He put his hand on my cheek, cherishing it. I leaned in and we kissed. The moment was so right. This kiss was passionate. It was one of those "it's been too long" type of kiss. I wrapped my arms around him. He wrapped his arms around my waist. Then the door swung open. The whole gang was there. They all began to laugh. Me and Jason just blushed and let go of each other.

"Well, looks like these two made up.", said Hailey walking in. "Anyway you okay, babe ? We heard about what that asshole did to you.", said Za rubbing my eye. "Yeah, I'm bringing him back tomorrow to break up with him.", I say "Good. I swear I could killed him.", said Jaden cracking his knuckles. "Same bro. I'm just glad you're alright.", said Willow hugging me. Then everyone joined in for a group hug.

"Anyway, let's go out and talk like old times.", suggested Jason. That really didn't sound like a bad idea. "Please tell me that Selena is out of the picture.", asked Ariana. "Yep and that's one thing I have to tell you guys. Y/n kicked her ass. And I'm proud of her.", said Jason wrapping his arm around me. "How did it feel ?", asked Hailey. "It felt amazing !", I say with a smile on my face. "Let's go celebrate !"

Everyone laughed and we began to leave. Jason wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my cheek. I wrapped my arm around him too. I smiled. I got my bad boy back.•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••Hope you liked this chapter 😊❤️
