——————————————COSETTE WOKE UP TO THE  raindrops dancing on Chris's window dimly lighting up the room. She walked downstairs and heard Matt and Nick talking downstairs she heard her name and stayed far away enough to not be seen but close enough to hear what they were saying."He said he made a mistake with her." Nick said."What do you think they slept together?!" Matt questioned."No! No.. no I don't think so, but what are we going to tell her when she wakes up and he's gone?" She felt her eyes burn up and a pit in her stomach, a mistake? Why would he ever kiss her if.. if." I don't.. Cosette hi!" Matt said giving Nick a weird look. Cosette emerged from her hiding spot.Cosette ran out the house crying nick trying to run behind her but she didn't stop. A mistake? A MISTAKE? How.. he.. HE LITTERALY KISSED HER?!She ran home with her phone in her pocket when her mom texted her. Could you get ice pls it said. She wiped her tears and walked to the nearest target walking to the ice section. For fucks sake. Of course. As if things could get any-"Looking for this?" Nate held up a bag of ice smiling at Cosette. "Nate!" Cosette ran toward him and jumped into his arms making him drop the ice on the floor and rub her back slowly. Her mutual friends with Chris, Madi and Nate had had an exchange year in London and she had forgot he was back for Christmas. She let go, and he looked her up and down with a puzzled look on his face."Are those Chris's clothes?" He asked with a worried look on his face. They checked out with the ice and walked to Cosette's house sitting down in her room telling each other everything that happened in their absence of seeing each other."Wait so he kissed you- and he's dating Heather-May?""Yeah it makes no sense""Cosette, your really beautiful,but it just doesn't sound like something he would do..""Thanks Nate, things just changed after the music assignment there's just this different side to him.""Unless.."
