——————————————CHRIS CARRIED COSETTE TOhis bedroom, trying not to wake her up. He placed her on the bed and got pyjama pants a t-shirt out of his closet, he didn't was to see her naked obviously, so he put the pants under in her under her dress and slipped down the straps of her dress putting the T-shirt on her, then unzipping her dress and pulling it off of her. He put her under the covers gently and walked to Matts room and called Cosettes mom saying that she went home with Isla and her phone died. Chris couldn't sleep last night. Something wasn't right. Cosette had always been a childhood annoyance to him- but seeing her cry and seeing the hickey marks on her neck made him mad, upset, he was glad to be there for her but- he always wanted to be there for her, never leave her side. He got up out of Matts bed and ordered a pizza, but he didn't want any to wake anyone up, so he sat outside his door on a bench. He looked up at the night sky and his phone buzzed in his pocket.

He leant his head against the outside brick wall. He wasn't in love with Heather, he knew he wasn't- he'd never been in love but he was sure that this wasn't it. Everything was fake, not real, she had told him she loved him but he wasn't even sure if that was real.The pizza came and he tipped the driver 5$ since it was quite a quick delivery.He walked into the kitchen quickly to see Cosette sat on the sofa on her phone. She had washed her makeup off? He couldn't tell, he had made fun of her before as a joke without even looking at her, she had glasses on now and was on her phone. "Hey" Chris said in a low voice. She jumped and put her hand on her chest wide eyed and taking a deep breath."Jesus Christ you scared the shit out of me" she looked at the McDonald's bag and smiled sweetly."Do you guys-""Yeah Fanta's in the fridge I'll grab you one." He looked at her shocked face."Yeah, I remembered- for your 12th birthday you got a mini fridge stacked with Fanta Cosy."Cosette was confused. He had been weird tonight, nicer, and the fact that he remembered her favourite drink made her stomach cartwheel.She stood up and took her glasses off stuffing them in her pocket."Thanks for the pyjamas but erm.. how did I- how" "I didn't see anything I promise, I didn't know you were going to wake up and I just wanted you to be comfortable." He took another sip of Pepsi."Yeah, erm, since we are both awake did you want to practice the song." He asked looking at her.She scratched her neck and realised she had come up with stuff about Heather and couldn't show him it."It's fine if you haven't done it yet." He said reassuringly."Sorry. Maybe you could teach me the guitar and I could practise whilst playing at home?" She suggested."Sure"He got up and grabbed his guitar, walking toward the living room as it was the furthest from the bedrooms. She sat down on the couch."Okay so just to make sure it's in tune try a C"She chuckled and scratched her neck again embarrassed."Really? Not even a C?"He sat down next to her closely, putting his arm around her waist to reach the guitar."Is this ok?" He asked."Yeah"He put her fingers on the correct strings and hummed whilst she tried it.Cosette got it completely wrong a couple of times and every time she did she started laughing with Chris uncontrollably. She pushed him of the couch for laughing at her, and he pulled her down with him. She landed on top of Chris, her stomach on his close enough for Chris to count every freckle on her face.He looked up at her with their faces inches apart, she looked at his right eye, then his left and then her gaze fell on his lips.Chris slowly cupped her face in his hands, leaning in, placing his lips on hers.
