Day IV

~*Lucy's POV*~

I was about to open door at the back of the driver's seat but Natsu open the front door beside him driving. 

" Um, I can stay behind really you can put your stuff in the front too.. " I said as I kept looking down or looking away from his face as he just laughed and took my bag without a doubt.

" I cleared the front and I am very uncomfortable seeing you at the back which it would really give that awkward vibe between us... " Natsu putted my bag at the front as the door is still open and wait for me to get inside so I had no choice.

I get inside the car as Natsu shut the door gently and goes to the other side getting inside the car to start the engine. Being inside a car isn't really that amused me because I know Natsu and his family being a Dragneel had their own wealth and business too, Natsu started driving while I looked at the right side at the window staring and gazing trying to feel that comfortable bubble. It was pretty smooth ride and knowing Natsu before he would want to take his ride with pride by going fast like racing, yet the watching the sunset was very beautiful scenery to look at. I know that for the first thirty seconds I count we been silent together inside the car as he drives while I stared deep to the window.

" So how is your winter break..? " Natsu break the silence as I looked at him but quickly looking down.

" It was great, just stayed at home with my mom and helped with business from dad too.. " I said as I smiled experiencing all of the winter break lessons from dad's business and mom's cooking.

" Well I know that would be great too, I had my family vacation in a private island. Without internet can be sucks but no calls or text from Lisanna for few days is so relaxing.. " Natsu said as he chuckled and I giggled as well.

" Aren't you and Lisanna childhood friends before? " I asked which it was true, Natsu told me before that him and Lisanna were childhood friends from America before they moved out here in Japan.

" Well yeah, but countless calls and text from it's just a pain in the butt while I just wanted some peaceful time with myself. I never even got a chance to hangout with you.. " Natsu said as I looked at him and then looking at the front as street lights passes by.

" Hangout with me..? " I said and mumble trying to relax as I find ways on getting an explanation on the ignorance and staying away from him six years straight.

" Well, I wouldn't want to talk about this cause I know you would be uncomfortable.. I just want to hangout like old times, we will be parting ways and you considered as my best friend.. " Natsu said as he looked at me smiling and go back looking at the road.

I looked back and blushed without knowing I was smiling like an idiot just won a lottery, getting that chances I would actually get a choice yet I have my doubting thoughts thinking the risks and getting caught that Lisanna would be giving me a harder time and really getting that punishment by exposing everything that happened even the dumping of water to me. I began to frown as I saw my hands shaking and getting the chills and shiver, I was really scared and nervous getting that situation. Natsu noticed it as he turned off the aircon which I looked at him.

" You getting cold, are you okay..? " Natsu gave the worried eyes, for the first time seeing that genuine question with that sadden eyes which I wouldn't want to look nor getting that topic and situation between the two of us. 

" Y-Yeah! The aircon must have been cold, not used to it I guess hehe.. " I said gave a little chuckle as Natsu smiled a little and kept driving.

Finally I got home as he parked his car in front of our house to the sidewalks which both of us get out and go to the porch. Natsu smiled at me holding my arm which I gotten close to his body against mine, it really made me blush more as my heart began to race faster from the nervousness. I started to ring the bell and stand perfectly straight beside seeing my dad opening the door.

" Oh starlight! You're home, almost called the police.. " Dad said stared at me intensely which I was about to say something but Natsu goes in and talk, why does everyone cut me off from talking and explanation. 

" Sorry Mr. Heartifilia, Lucy just watched Erza and I's championship games which we won. She is there for support and care for Erza.. " Natsu said with a straight point and polite way.

" Is that Natsu..? " Mom said as she peek out and shocked which she goes squishing Natsu's cheeks, " Look what you've grown!! You have your dad's hair color!! "

" M-Mirs. Heatifilia, it's been awhile too and you look more beautiful! " Natsu smiled which I chuckled seeing my mom.

" Gosh thank you, congratulations on winning the championship games!! Why don't you come inside and have dinner with us!! " My mom said as I shake my head giggling.

" Oh I would love to, Mrs. Heartifilia! " Natsu excitedly said as he bows with gratitude.

" Oh please, call me Layla. " Mom smiled more as dad let us in.

" Thank you for bringing my daughter starlight safe and sound, seems that two are back together being friends? " Dad said as I glared at him knowing I wouldn't talk about that.

" Well, I am getting there Mr. Heartifilia, I wouldn't want to force her if she wants to hangout with me.. " Natsu said as he looked at me.

" I'm sure my starlight would be happy to reconnect once again with her best friend.. " My dad winks at me which I glared even more pouting and crossing my arms, " And call me Jude, Natsu.. "

" Oh dear.. " I mumbled which I smiled seeing and watching  my parents kept talking to Natsu, but the house seems to get more lively that before and I really loved the atmosphere of it
