it was joshua and all the other guys behind him, "sorry we're late, we had a bit of trouble finding the room" he had a kind smile

i looked at them with a shocked expression not knowing what to do, what are they doing here? and why are they wearing the uniform? i panicked inside my head

they walked inside one by one, i heard a girl whisper, "they're hot", i tried to ignore her, "hello my name is joshua" shua oppa introduced himself, "hello my name is seungcheol" "jun" "i'm myungho" "vernon" "hello everyone i'm jeonghan" "i'm soonyoung" "chan" "nice to meet you all i'm seokmin" "jihoon" "i'm wonwoo" "hello, i'm mingyu" "i'm seungkwan" they introduced themselves on by one

"looks like we got a lot of new foreigners in the class" the teacher said signaling for us to sit down, i quickly went to my seat, basically avoiding them

"what are they doing here" i mumbled underneath my breath, they all started taking their seats and soonyoung, vernon, and seungcheol all sat down near me. vernon behind me, soonyoung next to me and seungcheol next to soonyoung. "good morning" soonyoung spoke to me in japanese for some reason, "what are you doing here?" i asked in korean

"i thought you'd be happy to see us here" cheol said next to him, i groaned and slouched in my seat looking out the window

i don't really know why i'm angry, it's just i didn't expect them to be here. they should have told me!

wait... is this the 'surprise' cheol was talking about? i think it is

it can't possibly be that bad that their here, right? why would it even be bad that their here? at least i'll have someone to talk to and hopefully make things easier... they really do care about me... i'm acting like a brat

give it a chance, hopefully it'll be a good thing that they're here...

i was having an internal argument with myself but my train of thought was interrupted when the teacher spoke, "alright everyone turn to page 203, we'll start on chapter 7"

the teacher started teaching and i tried my best to pay attention without getting distracted

the bell rang after a while and i was off to find my second period class, also trying my best to avoid the guys, "princess, where are you off to now?" mingyu whispered from behind me startling me, "you shouldn't call me that when i'm in school" i whispered back

"nah, i'll always call you that" he chuckled, i groaned and looked away, pouting a little, "so what class do you have next?" he asked again, putting his hand around my shoulder, i sighed and looked down at my schedule, "i have AP bio next" "oh, that's great me too" he said celebrating a little

"what room is it?" i mumbled to myself, looking down at the paper, "it's 23A" he said also looking at my paper, "come on let's go, it's this way" he dragged me along with him, "hyung! you aren't the only one that has class with her" vernon shouted a little behind us and mingyu groaned, "i was hoping i could get you to myself" he whispered looking down at me

i chuckled a little, i looked behind us to find vernon and seokmin oppa looking at us, "come on we should get to class" seokmin said holding my hand and tearing me away from mingyu. vernon and mingyu shouted a little as i laughed, running with seokmin towards our next class

after the third block it was time for lunch and i had it with cheol, chan, vernon, and wonwoo

i was walking around trying to find the cafeteria, when i walked up to a boy to ask him, "excuse me, where's the cafeteria?" i asked in a small voice, "um, it's just that way. are you new here?" he asked a little curious, "yeah i just enrolled here" i said walking away towards where he pointed

"hey wait!" he grabbed my arm before i could get too far, "what is it?" i was a bit uncomfortable with his hand on my arm, "can i have your number?" "w-what?" i stuttered, "can i have your number? you seem pretty cute, i want to ask you out" he said with a bit of confidence

"sorry but she's taken" a sudden voice said from behind me, making me flinch, i turned around to see wonwoo and seungcheol, "let her go" this time it was seungcheol speaking, the guy let me go before walking away a little angry, "come on the cafeteria is this way" they guided me to where in was supposed to be

the rest of the day was calm and i enjoyed myself with the guys around. my school schedule went like this: first period-english; second period-art ;third period-AP bio; fourth period-french; fifth period-AP geography; sixth period-calculus; seventh period-dance; eighth period-pe

i had all my classes with at least one of the guys, which was relieving even though i didn't want to admit it. it was also rather ironic that i have french class even though i just came from paris

the last bell rang meaning we could leave now, "areum!" soonyoung shouted from behind me, "we go this way" he mumbled pointing at a door behind me, opposite from the way i was going

i walked towards him slowly and he waited for me with a smile, there was also a girl walking towards him from behind, "hey" she said smiling up at him, i scowled at her, "um, hi" he rubbed the back of his head, "i just wanted to say, i have all my classes with you and you seem pretty cool, um, could i get your number?" she asked in a small voice, i went to soonyoung's side and grabbed his arm

"sorry but he's taken" i gave her a bit of a fake smile, she was taken aback and quickly walked away, "wow, i've never seen you this jealous. not even when i bring a girl home" he said looking down at me with a smirk, "sorry it was a bit out of character of me" i looked down

"you're jealous" he teased me, "yeah so what! i don't want some grubby girl with her hands all over you" i shouted a little, i was talking in korean so no one could really understand us, he laughed and started walking with me on his arm

"come on, i'm taking you away for a little while" "what about the others?" "they know don't worry because i am bringing you to the beach and we're going to spend the entire afternoon there" he said with a bright smile, i chuckled, "alright, but we can't stay out too late i have homework to do" i said pointing at him playfully

"we'll pass by the house to get your swimsuit and we'll be on our way"

"go upstairs and get a cute swimsuit, i'll go look for mine as well" he said opening the door with his key, "alright see you in five minutes" i spoke happily strutting to my room

i walked into my walk-in closet and started looking around it, when i first got this room there was already plenty of clothes in the closet so i was hopeful to find a swimsuit that fit me somewhere

i looked through the drawers one by one until i found a few swimsuits, most of them were quite revealing but luckily i found a one-piece that didn't reveal as much as the others

what she chose:

"areum don't change yet, well change when we get there" soonyoung shouted from outside my room, "alright!" i yelled back and walked to the door and opening it, "oh you already chose what you're going to wear? let me see" i showed him the one i chose and he looked up at me with a face

"out of all the swimsuits in your closet you chose this one?" he said a little disgusted at my choice, "what i like this one, it isn't revealing" i whined a bit, "come on i'll choose one" he said walking into my room

"but don't choose one that shows everything!" i shouted so he could here me as he was already in the closet, "hey look this ones cute and doesn't show everything" he said holding up a red bikini, how come i didn't see that one?

i groaned, "fine i'll wear that one" "come on let's get in the car" he started walking out of my room, "wait! but what about sunscreen and food?" i said before he could leave, "oh, we'll get the sunscreen here and we'll buy food there" he started walking towards my bathroom, opened a drawer and found a sunscreen bottle i've never seen before

once we were in the car, there was a comfortable silence between us, until i spoke up, "oppa, why did you decide to enter my school with me?" "didn't the other guys promise you wouldn't be lonely this time?" he said turning a corner, "oh, yeah, i forgot about that" i mumbled

"why are we even going to the beach?" "in truth, we're going to the beach to distract you" he said slowly, "what do you mean 'distract me'?" i had a confused expression, "something is going down with the others" now he had a serious voice, "w-what's going down" i was getting nervous

"don't worry about it" he tried to brush it off, "soonyoung tell me" i wasn't just getting nervous, i was getting mad at him, at them. "don't give me attitude" he warned me, "then tell me the truth!"

something i've known about soonyoung for a long time is that if you bug him enough about something he'll eventually snap

he sighed for a moment, "they're going after the people who tried to kill jun" "w-what? how did you even f-find them?" "we're predators, we always get our prey" he said in a dark voice and red eyes as he looked at me

"we're going to exterminate them for trying to hurt jun" his fangs were becoming very prominent, "oppa y-you're scaring me" i managed to stutter out, "sorry... let's just go to the beach" he continued driving as if nothing happened

i've never seen him so angry... ever since i found out their secret i've been seeing different sides of them. some sides i would have rather not seen; like this one

they have always taken care of me, they've always been kind and loving. even when i did something wrong they were still loving. sometimes i would have rather stayed in the dark about what they are, it would make things simpler

we pulled up at the beach and we got out of the car, i was still a little shaky about what had just happened, "let's go change" he said guiding me to the public bathrooms

i walked into the women's side and he went into the men's, the moment i closed the stall door i almost collapsed on the floor, "why was he like that?" i muttered, "areum get yourself together! just change and walk out and we'll have a good time, come on you can do this!" i whispered to myself, trying to calm down

i looked inside my bag and pulled out the bikini he chose, "why did i let him convince me to wear this?" i mumbled, i changed and walked towards the mirror

i sighed looking in the mirror and walked out of the bathroom to find a group of people and soonyoung standing off to the side, he was wearing black swimming trunks and holding our bag in his hands

he sensed my presence and looked over at me, "you look nice" he said in a monotone, "y-yeah, thanks" "sorry for what happened in the car, i didn't mean to scare you" his eyes softened, "it's alright, i've just never seen you like that" i looked away for a moment

"let's go" he extended his arm and we started walking towards the beach
