Chapter 17 - Girls Don't Give Him a Hard-On

Nanon's POV

"Dad, you guys are going to uncle Chane's event, right?" I asked my dad. We were having breakfast the next morning after Ohm invited me. "Yes, we planned to. It's this Saturday. Why?" Dad asked me. "Umm. Ohm invited me to go with him. And I don't have anything to wear." I told my dad. "Huh? You do realized you have a room full of clothes, right? A lot of them even still has their tags on." dad looked at me like I lost my mind. "Ugh, you wouldn't understand." I puffed up my cheeks. "A, you can't say that. Don't worry dear, I'll go shopping with you." Pa smiled at me. "Pa, you're the best." I hugged him. "You coddled him too much. He's so spoiled." Dad looked irritated. "Don't worry A, it's just a suit, I'll help him pick the cutest one." Pa ruffled my hair. "But pa, what about your work?" I frowned. "Don't worry about it." He texted someone, I assumed that was his assistant. "There. Now I'm free for the whole day. Come on. I missed you so much. We haven't spend a quality time together in a very long time." We finished our breakfast. "I'm going to go to my office, okay." Dad kissed pa's cheeks, then hugged me and kissed my forehead. "Nanon, be a good boy for your pa, okay. Don't cause any trouble." Dad always treat me like I'm a baby. I nodded and smiled. "Come on pa, let's go." I'm so excited.

We went to the mall and went to our favorite store. I tried on a few blazers, but I couldn't find anything that suits me. I tried the one with leopard print on it, but I think the color's a little bit too much. I tried another one with snake skin printed all over it, and it looks good. I almost bought that one, when I saw one blazer that caught my eyes. It was a blazer with teddy bear pattern all over it, with ribbons and real teddy bear doll. Pa looked at it too. "Nanon, that one is so cute. Do you want to try that one?" I nodded. I tried it on. It is cute. Now I've got trouble deciding. "Pa, which one should I choose?" I asked him. "Hmm, personally I liked the bear one. But the snake one is cool too. So, between cute and cool, let's just take both but don't tell your dad about it, okay?" We grinned. We also bought the matching pants for the blazers. "Next, let's look at the shoes, okay. Miss, do you have any shoes that can go along with these blazers?" Pa asked the shop keeper. "We do have them sir, please come this way." The shop keeper showed us the matching shoes, the one pair with teddy bear print all over it, and the other one with snake print. And they matched the color too. We decided to bought them too. In the end, we bought more clothes, and some accessories. Shopping day with pa is always the best. 

The driver took our shopping bags from us and we went to our favorite restaurant to have lunch. We were walking there, when I accidently looked at someone familiar. It was p'Tay. I was about to call him, but then I realized he's not alone. He's with p'New. Oh God, this is bad. I tried to distract pa, but I think it's too late. Pa already saw p'Tay and p'New. His expression changed. He hates p'New, every people in my family knows it. And p'Tay in a relationship with p'New kinda stained his relationship with dad and pa. "Pa, come on, let's go to the restaurant." I tried to distract him. He ruffled my hair and smiled. We were about to go, but p'Tay saw us and approached us, along with p'New behind him. "Nanon, pa, what are you guys doing here?" he asked like nothing is wrong. "Oh, we were just out shopping. Nanon needs some clothes for Ohm's dad's event this Saturday." Pa answered calmly. "Hi Nanon. Good afternoon mr.Lift." p'New greeted us. Total silent from pa. I waved my hand but didn't dare to say a thing. "Nanon, come on, let's go. Tay, you should come home to dinner some time." Pa kept a very cold expression. He started walking and I tailed behind him like a duckling. I waved p'Tay and p'New goodbye and they waved back. Okay, that was intense. 

We arrived at the restaurant and started ordering. When we wait for our orders, pa started talking. "Out of everybody in this world, he has to date someone that almost send us all to jail." Pa rambled. "Pa, calm down. It can't be helped." I tried to calm him down. "Seriously, I hate that guy so much. He stuck his nose where it don't belong. You know he almost sent pa, dad, and even uncle Chane to jail. And in the end we were proven innocent. And he wanted us to forgive him just like that? In my dream." P'New already apologized for, like, thousand times, but they're still mad and won't give him the green light of forgiveness. "Maybe p'Tay saw the good in him, that's why he's in love with him." P'Tay is the best human being, always saw the good in people. "I don't care. All I know is that he drove us off the road. I wanted him fired from the police department but they won't do it. I even talked to the captain." He continued rambling. I really have no idea which side should I choose. I mean, I don't like p'New because he tried to send my dads to prison. But he's also p'Tay's boyfriend. "Pa, do you think maybe one day you can forgive him?" I asked him. "That one, I don't know. He made a huge mistake crossing lines with us. Only time will tell. But don't you worry about it, okay." He smiled. I smiled too. In the end, p'Tay is still my brother, and dad and pa's son, and I know pa won't do anything to hurt p'Tay.

Later that evening...

"You met who?" I went out to dinner with Ohm. "P'New, p'Tay's boyfriend." We were waiting for our foods. "The one that your dad and pa hates so much?" I nodded. "That was so intense. The usually warm pa turned cold when he met p'New." Our foods arrived. "Will they ever forgive him?" he chewed his food. "Hmm. Maybe. Only time will tell." I picked one french fries and put it in my mouth. "I wanted to help p'Tay but I know it's impossible. My dad doesn't allow us to talk to p'New. He also banned p'New from any of our social events." I pouted, biting my straw. "Well, I would be mad too if someone tried to send me to jail." He tried to reason with me. "Hmm. Pa said uncle Chane almost went to jail because of p'New too." I told him. "Oh, that's bad. He really made some enemies here. I mean, my dad, plus uncle A and uncle Lift, that's a combo you don't wanna mess with. It's a miracle he's still standing." he sipped his drink. "Well, pa tried to get him fired from the police department, but the captain refused." I told him. "Why? Are they related?" Ohm asked. I nodded. "Yup, he's his son." Ohm laughed. "Okay, this has turned into a soap opera. Can you imagine if they ever got married?" he grinned. "But the captain assured my dad and pa that p'New won't stick his nose in their business again." I puffed up my cheeks. "God, I really want to help p'Tay." Imagined if they ever got married but we couldn't attend. "But I think the best thing we can do is stay out of it. Don't anger your dad and pa." Ohm gave advice to me. I nodded. We finished eating and we went back to my house. "Ohm, thanks for driving me home." I said in a cute tone. "Maybe I should give you a reward." I touched his thigh and bite my lower lips. I set up my chair into a more comfortable position. "Hmm. What kind of reward are you talking about? Like this?" He tilted his head and inched closer to my face. We started kissing. Our lips touched, and we started making out. Our tongues collided. I stroked his cheeks and he stroked my neck, and to the back of my head. We breathed heavily. We were too busy making out, we didn't realize that someone knocked on Ohm's window. "OHM, STOP SUCKING MY SON'S FACE." Dad banged on his window. We immediately stopped. I tried to tidy myself up and Ohm did the same. We got out of the car. "Good evening uncle A, good evening uncle Lift." He greeted them. Dad glared at him. "I was just.. we were just... I was just..." he got lost for words. "Umm.. Ohm just helped me because I got something in my eye. And he tried to pick it up." I tried to make an excuse. He looked like he didn't believe me but said nothing. Dad took a deep breath. "Okay. Nanon, it's getting late. Let's get inside. Ohm, you need to go home. Drive safe, okay." Dad said in a very calm voice. "I'll be on my way, then. Good night uncle A, good night uncle Lift. Nanon, I'll call you when I get home, okay." He waved everyone goodbye and drove off. Dad walked inside. "You know we didn't believe your excuse. It's a good thing your dad likes Ohm. But Nanon, you have to be careful, okay." I nodded. Pa ruffled my hair and we walked inside too. 

Later that night...

I went to kitchen to get some water, and I saw p'Tay sitting on the stool. "P'Tay you're home." I hugged him. He ruffled my hair. "Yeah, I needed to go home after the whole encounter at the mall this afternoon. But dad and pa were already asleep, I guess." he said. "Yeah, that was intense. Sorry about that." I said. "What are you sorry for?" He frowned. "Well, I tried to distract pa, but failed. And p'New greeted me but I didn't dare to say a word to greet him back." I shrugged. "Hmm. It's not your fault. And you did the right thing. Don't get in trouble because of me and New." He shrugged too. "P'Tay, I really wish that we can be together, all of us. I... I..." I started tearing up. "I know kid, me too. Me too." he hugged me and smiled. "Is there something we can do?" I asked him. "Hmm. For you, just do nothing, okay. Seriously, stay out of it. Don't anger pa or dad because you're trying to help me. I really want their green light of forgiveness for New, but I know it's difficult. But I do hope that one day dad and pa can forgive New." We fell silent. "Come on, it's late, let's get you to bed. Do you want me to sing you a lullaby or tell a folklore?" He ushered me to my room. "P'Tay, I'm not a baby anymore." We laughed. "But I think a lullaby will be nice." I smiled and he tugged me to bed. P'Tay is the best brother anyone could asked for, and I do hope that he got his happy ending with p'New.

Saturday, the day of mr.Chane's Event

I decided to wear my bear suit, the cute one. I styled my hair, or to be exact, my pa styled my hair and styled it into the little wave. Ohm offered to pick me up, but I know he's going to be busy helping his dad with the event, so I decided to tag along with my dads. We arrived at hotel A and walked to the banquet hall, and the first thing I noticed was the over the top decoration. The flowers, the ribbons, the ornaments, the lightning. Wow. Is that a dragon statue? And are those real peacocks in the golden cage? I was in awe with the decoration. We entered the room, and I immediately saw Ohm and his dad, and someone who I assumed is his older brother at the entrance greeting the guests. Ohm looked so hot with a suit on and his hair slicked back like that. He saw me, excused himself, and walked towards us. "Good evening uncle A, good evening uncle Lift." He greeted them. "Ohm, nice to see you again." Dad greeted him back. "Nanon, you look extra cute tonight." he kissed my cheeks. "I really want to take those clothes off of you later." he whispered in my ear and I blushed. "Uncle A, uncle Lift, let's meet my dad." He held my hand and escorted us to his dad. "Good evening uncle Chane." I greeted him. "A, Lift, Nanon, glad you guys could make it tonight." Uncle Chane shook dad's and pa's hands. "Nanon, that's a very cute blazer you wore tonight." he praised me. I smiled. "Thank you uncle Chane. Your event is out of this world." I gave him two thumbs up, praising him back. The dads started talking about business and stuffs. Ohm greeted another guest so I wander around the venue. There was a sweet corner, full of candies, cakes, cookies, and some other kind of sweets. There was a drink corner too, and I went there to get something to drink. I didn't watch where i was going and accidently bumped into some old man. "Oh my God, I am so sorry." I apologized to him. He looked at me, looked at what I'm wearing, glared at me, and left without saying anything. Rude. That's just rude. 

Ohm approached me a while later and we sat on our table. I sat between Ohm and someone I don't know. "Nanon, let me introduce you. This is p'Tap, my dad's boyfriend. P'Tap, this is Nanon, my boyfriend." Ohm introduced us. I knew that uncle Chane's boyfriend is young, Ohm already told me. But seeing him in person is another level. "Hi Nanon, nice to finally meet you. Ohm always talked about you when he's at home." P'Tap shook my hand. "Nice to meet you too phi. Ohm told me about you too." I smiled. "So, should I call you p'Tap or uncle Tap?" I joked. He laughed. "Well, if I ever get married to Chane then Ohm will have to call me daddy." We laughed. Ohm shuddered. I love this guy, he has a great sense of humor. We started talking and I noticed the rude old man from earlier sat on the table next to us. "Ohm, do you know who is that?" I asked him. "Oh, that's my grandpa. The one who hates me. Why?" he asked. "Umm. I accidently bumped into him. I apologized but he just left without saying a single word." I explained. "That is so him. Well, brace yourself." Ohm started getting up. "Huh? Why?" I asked. "Cause we're going to approach him." he offered his hand. I took it and started walking towards the rude man. 

"Good evening grandpa." Ohm greeted the old man. "Oh, it's you, my daughter's killer." He answered in a very cold tone. This man is heartless. "Grandpa, I'd like you to meet my boyfriend. His name is Nanon." Ohm introduced me. "Hi grandpa, nice to meet you. My name is Nanon." Not. Definitely not nice. But I tried to smile. He glared at me once again. "Hmmh, still gay, I guess, just like your dad." I really want to slap him so bad. "Yes, that's right. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, right? We both love sucking dick." Suddenly, Ohm's dad joined us. "Dad, please just stop." Ohm looked uncomfortable. "Ohm , let's go back to our table, okay." Ohm's dad ushered us back to the main table, leaving the rude man alone. "God, that was intense. Nanon, sorry you have to witness something like that." Ohm's dad apologized to me. "Don't worry uncle Chane, all's good. Although I really wanted to slap him so bad." I joked. "Yeah, me too." P'Tap joked around too. "Well, I really hope you don't do that, cause he's one of your dad's client. And they're about to renew their contract next week. And their contract value exceeded one billion bath." I dropped my jaw. "Oh God, really? Dad did a business with that rude man? Why?" That's unbelievable. "Hmm. Because when you're in a business, you have to think with your brain and shut you heart off. In this case, grandpa may be a rude man, but he's good at doing business." Well, he's not wrong. I pouted. 

Towards the end of the event, some bodyguards approached Ohm and asked him to come with them. "Mr. Ohm, mr.Break would like to talk to you. Could you please come with us?" they asked. "Huh? Okay then. Nanon, let's go." he stood up and offered his hand. I went with him to the lobby, to the sitting area. There he was, the rude guy, but he's not alone. He was chatting with who I assumed is his clients. "Ohm, there you are." His grandpa said. I can feel Ohm tensed beside me. "Sorry, this one is tardy." he said to his clients. Tardy? You literally just called him, just about now, and you called him tardy? "Ohm, let me introduce you to my friends, this is mr.&mrs. Mark, and this is their daughter Love." he introduced them. "Love here goes to the same university as you." he continued, while Love just stood there like a mannequin, nodding her head like a bobbing doll. "Oh, I think I've seen you around before. Nice to meet you." Ohm waved to her. "You know, Love is a very lovely girl. She's nice, she's beautiful, she's a model student." And she also came from a rich family, judging from their clothes and their jewelry. "You can get to know each other. We don't know, maybe you two will hit it off." Ohm's grandpa said with full confidence. "But grandpa, I already have someone that I love. And his name is Nanon, my boyfriend, here." he put his arm around my shoulder. "Pfft. Boyfriend. What good will that be?" Ohm's grandpa scoffed us. "Grandpa, I'm gay, I have no interest in dating girls. That I know for sure. And you already know it too." Ohm tried to explain. "Gay? No, you're not. You just never tried having a relationship with a girl. Come on, try to open up your heart to Love." Ohm's grandpa tried to convince Ohm. "What's happening here?" Suddenly, uncle Chane appeared, along with my dad and pa. "Grandpa here tried to set me up with one of his friend's daughter." Ohm explained. "But you already have a boyfriend." uncle Chane looked confused. "Chane, you stay out of it. It's my business with Ohm here. You just keep getting busy fucking your boy toy or something. Ohm, I don't like you being gay and you have to say yes to dating Love. It's the least you can do after you killed my daughter." Oh, this is so on. I don't care who he is anymore. I turned to my dad. "Dad, can I?" He nodded. "Are you sure?" He nodded again. "Ohm, uncle Chane, I'm so sorry." They looked confused but said nothing. I turned to Ohm's grandpa, smiled at him my cutest smile. "You... You son of a brick.." I started. "How dare you. How dare you insulted my boyfriend and his dad like that." I glared at him. He's taken aback. "All evening, all you do was being rude to people around you, including me. If you hate it here so much, why do you have to attend? Just go home and eat your porridge or tapioca or something." my blood boiled. "You were so rude to Ohm, even when he's nothing but nice and polite to you." I don't give a shit anymore. "Young man, you have no manner. Don't your dad taught you manner?" He tried to insult me. "Oh, my dad taught me all right. My dad also taught me to stand up to a prick bully like you. And also, I could say the same about you. You know, just because you're old doesn't mean you can complain about anything and get away with it." He's about to say something but I cut him off. "No, it's my turn to talk. You shut up and listen to me. You bullied Ohm since he was a toddler, and now it's time for someone to stand up for him. You're so rude. Calling him his mother's killer when he did nothing wrong. You really thought his mother would be happy if she saw you bullying him like that? I bet you, she looked down on you right now in a huge disappointment. She chose to gave birth to Ohm knowing that she will risk her own life and you stained her heroic action. You know what, if you love her so much, why don't you just go to her already. Here you just throw insult around making people around you uncomfortable. Eventhough I highly doubt you're going to meet her, cause she went to heaven, and people like you surely will rot in hell." I know the last sentence was a little bit too much. "Nanon, you crossed a line." It was my dad. I turned to him. "I know and I'm sorry. But someone needs to tell him." I turned back to Ohm's grandpa. "How dare you.." he tried to cut me off again. "I said I'M NOT DONE." I shouted. "And you know he's gay. G. A. Y. gay. He doesn't like girls. Girls don't give him a hard on. Why would you forced him like that. You really hurt people with this one. You hurt Ohm and you hurt Love by forcing them like that. This is 2023, we can love whoever the fuck we want. And Ohm already told you, he's not single. He has me. He's in a loving relationship with me. ME. And I fucking love him so much. And damn if I'll let him go even if it's for you or for anyone else. You hear me? No one could ever separate us. NO ONE." I almost ran out of breath. Ohm's grandpa was about to say something but I gave him my index finger. I turned to Love. "And you. YOU." I pointed at her. "How can you let your parents decided what you have to do like that. Come on, have some back bone. Speak up. This is your future. They were about to set you up with a gay guy for God's sake. And you were just nodding your head like you're ready to just accept your fate. Can't you talk? Are you mute? Say something, damn it. Your parents are the worst, selling you out like that." I tried to calm myself down. "You're right. I should've said something." Love spoke. Oh, turns out she's not mute. "Mom, dad, I don't want you to set me up with anyone, I don't want you to control my future. I want to find my own happiness, my own love." she said to her parents. "Yeah, you go girl. Stand up to them." I encouraged her. "And I think I've found my true love." she continued. "Yes, you tell them." I added. "This guy right here. Your name is Nanon, right?" I didn't realize. "Yes, that's...." Ohm nudged my shoulder. "Wait? Whaaatttt?" Okay, now I'm confused. "Yes, you. You're so handsome, and so brave standing up to Ohm's grandpa like that. I really want you right now." Huh? Okay, what just happened? "Love, you can't. Nanon is my boyfriend." Ohm tried to explain. "Yeah, I don't care. Love is love. And I'm falling in love with Nanon right now." Whaaattt? This girl is crazy. "I'm willing to share him with you if that's neccesary." Please stop. "Oh my God, please stop talking." I'm getting dizzy. This is a plot twist I didn't see coming. Love tried to hug me and Ohm tried to protect me from her, while Love's parents tried to stop her from hugging me. This is getting chaotic. "Nanon, let's get out of here."  Ohm held my hand and we started running. 

We ran to his car and he drove off. He stopped the car at an abandoned parking lot. "Ohm, I'm so sorry I lashed out like that to your grandpa. Oh God, you're going to be in trouble because of me. And my dad..." I didn't know what to say. "Are you kidding me?" he started. "Nanon, you're fucking awesome." Huh? "All my life, I wish someone would stand up to him for me, but no one's ever done that, not even my dad. You're doing it was like, super awesome. I love you so much for it. I don't care anymore about my grandpa." He was smiling. "But you were right about your dad. He's going to renew the contract with my grandpa so it doesn't look good." I frowned. "But don't worry. I think your dad could think of some things." He inched his face closer to mine. "Don't worry about it, okay." He started kissing me and suddenly I forget about my problem. I kissed him back. "Ohm... take me... back... to... your... apartment..." I said between kisses. We stopped kissing and he started driving to his apartment.

Later that night...

We cuddled naked in bed after having sex. "Ohm, what if your grandpa decided not to renew the contract with my dad because he's mad?" I frowned. "Well, that's one of many possibilities. But you heard my dad, grandpa is a good business man, so maybe he'll still do business with your dad?" He doesn't look so sure either. I closed my eyes and started drifting to sleep.
