episode six ~ #love

Gia stared at the phone in her hand, again. This time not on Ludo's couch, but on a random bench she walked across while going home.

She groaned and tapped her feet on the ground. Biting her lip, she cursed herself in her mind for overthinking so much.

"Okay, you got this. No stress. Come on," she praised herself, starting to type a message.

"What are you hyping yourself for?" Niccolo's voice startled her, making her raise her head up from her phone, putting the phone close to chest to hide it away from his view.

She watched him from the corner of her eye as he sat down next to her.

"It's nothing," she shook her head, not looking at him.

"How are you?" He asked, looking at her, hoping to catch her eye.

His wishes came true, Gia turned her head, looking into his eyes. "Fine."

Nicco nodded, pressing his lips together. Looking away from her, his mind wandered.

Gianna curiously watched him, admiring his features. Turning her head back to look at the view in front of them.

"Actually, no," she said out of nowhere, herself not completely certain what she was going to say next. "I'm not fine," she said, not looking at him, letting out a scoff.

Niccolo's head snapped to her, looking at her with concern. "What's wrong?" He carefully asked.

Biting her lip, Gia's eyes watered and she hated herself for that. "Everything is just, shit," she shrugged and shook her head, making it seem like no big deal, blinking so that the tears forming in her eyes didn't escape.

Nicco stayed quiet for a while, thinking about his words. "I'm still here, you know. I'll always be here when you need me, that will never change," he told her, looking at her.

Gianna raised her eyes to his, her own eyes watering at his words.

Nicco noticed and automatically reached out, pulling her to him, embracing her in a hug.

Gia buried her head into his shirt and wrapped her arms around him, tears silently falling from her eyes.

As they stayed like that for few minutes, Gia realized that her fling with Niccolo might've always been something more than just a stupid fling.

And even though it was now over, she knew that her feelings weren't disappearing. They were still there, she just tried to ignore them to not hurt as much.

"Hey," Rosa greeted when Gia walked through the front door.

Gia ignored her, walking past her she went to her room and locked it behind herself.

Pulling out her phone, she dialed Eliseo's number.

After few rings, he picked up, "hello?"

"Hey," Gianna greeted. "It's Gianna, from the club," she took a deep breath as she waited for an answer.

"Gianna," Eliseo greeted, smile on his face. "I was wondering if you were ever going to call," he chuckled.

Gia smiled, "about seeing that apartment of yours, is the offer still up?"

————

"So this is it, hope it lives up to your expectations," Eliseo said, throwing his keys to his basket with keys, closing the door behind Gianna who was looking around.

"It's exactly how I imagined it would be," Gianna said giving him a coy smile.

"Can I offer you a drink?" Eliseo asked, walking into his kitchen, that was conjoined with the rest of his studio apartment.

Not paying attention to Gia, instead preparing a drink for himself, he didn't notice how much closer she got to him.

Finally, raising his gaze from the glass in front of him on the counter, he looked at Gia who now stood next to him, leaning against the counter.

Taking a deep breath, Gia put her hand on his arm, turning him to face her.

Staring at each other for a while without a word, Gia made the first move.

Raising on her tippy toes, she pulled his face into a gentle kiss, waiting for his reaction.

Pulling away after a while, she watched him. Eyes hazy, he immediately pulled her back in. Pressing her against the counter, his drink long forgotten.

His hands tightly held her hips, pressing his pelvis against hers. Gianna moaned into the kiss, her hands going into his hair, tugging at his strands, receiving a groan from Eliseo.

He started pressing kisses down her neck, sucking on a spot that made Gia tighten her grip on his hair.

Sliding his hands down to her thighs, he helped her jump on the counter. Both breathed heavily, devouring the other as if they were starving.

"Are you sure about this?" Eliseo pulled away for a moment, looking into her eyes. It pained him to pull away, and he hoped she would say yes.

"Yes."

————

"You're here," Camilla said, surprised at the sight of Gia at her farewell party.

Gianna nodded, giving the brunette a small smile. She didn't mention that if it weren't for her brother convincing her, she wouldn't be here.

"Look, I'm sorry. About everything. I was a bitch to you," Cami apologized.

"It's fine, Cami, I don't blame you for the way you acted. I would've been the same," Gia shook her head.

"No, but I mean, I'm sorry for not reaching out. I don't know why I didn't, honestly," she gave her an apologetic look. "You needed your friends to be there for you and I wasn't," Cami shook her head at herself.

"Let's just move on past that, yeah?" Gianna smiled, taking a hold of Cami's hand and giving her a squeeze.

Camilla nodded, returning her a smile. "Can we maybe, like, hug it out?" Cami offered.

Gia chuckled. "Of course," she said, pulling Camilla into a hug, which she returned. "Go enjoy your party," she said as they parted.

Cami gave her a smile and turned to leave, but stopped in her tracks. "Do you know if Chiara's going to show up?" She asked unsurely.

"She should," Gia told her.

Camilla nodded and left to go talk to other people at the party.

"That was nice to see," Niccolo appeared next to Gia, two cups in his hands, holding out one to her.

Gia chuckled and took the drink, "thanks."

"You feeling better?" He asked, talking about the other day.

Gia thought about her answer for a while, "a little, yeah," she answered.

"Good."

Noticing that Chiara and Ludo are here, she gestured to them, Nicco nodded and watched her leave.

"Hey," she greeted her friends when she walked towards the table with drink where they stood.

"Chiara's staying!" Ludo exclaimed, pulling Gia into an unexpected hug.

"Really? You are?" Gia looked at Chiara who nodded with a smile. Pulling away from Ludo, she pulled the blonde into a hug. "That's great news. Let's cheers to that," she raised her cup, clicking it with Chiara and Ludo.

The three of them walked into a school bathroom, so that they were alone.

"Shame you had to get rid of Saverio's phone," Ludo started as she sat up on the sink. "You have no idea how much I'd have loved to mess about with all his contacts!" She said with a grin.

Chiara looked at both the girls, pulling her jacket to the side, showing the girls Saverio's phone tucked into her skirt. "Yes, it's a shame," she laughed.

"Jesus," Gia said with a laugh.

Ludo took the phone from Chiara's hands, opening the messages, reading them out loud.

"The blonde is beautiful, what's her name," one of the messages said.

"Give it here," Chiara said taking the phone back.

Gia and Ludo watched as Chiara typed out an answer 'Her name's Emma. Do you want to meet her?'

"Are you sure about that though?" Gia asked, seriously.

"Of course," Chiara told her, laughing. "Do you want me to hook you up with someone too? So you're not missing out?" She joked.

Gianna snorted, "I think I'm good."
