Chapter 14

Draco's POV

It's been a week since Pansy kidnapped Hermione and we rescued her.We're on January now.I spent New Year's eve with Hermione in her house,since my mother insisted that she'll spend it with her relatives.It wasn't a special night because Hermione was injured,but at least we spent it together,holding each other...She's getting better everyday,but I insist I must stay in her house to take care of her.Harry and I are very good friends now,I guess after that night he was convinced that I really changed.As for Pansy,the ministry of magic got her,they said she won't be able to get near us anymore.I entered Hermione's room with a bowl of cereal in my hands.

"It's time for breakfast beautiful" I said while I sat near Hermione's bed.

"Draco,I can eat by myself there's no need to feed me" she said

"No...I screwed up things once didn't I ?!"

"Draco it's okay...You were just jealous.But know it that there's no need to be jealous okay? I love you,I really do" she said

"I love you too" I said and I gave her a kiss.

"Now,will you let me feed myself?"

"No...Please this is the last time"

"Okay then ferret" she said smiling.

"Ha ha" I said rolling my eyes.She smiled at me,I couldn't help but smile back.

After feeding her,I realized that I haven't told her yet that my mother wants to meet her.She got worried for her when I told her what happened.

"Hermione?"

"Yes?"

"My mother wants to meet you..."

"What? Narcissa wants to meet me?!" she said surprised.

"Yes...She knows about us,and she got very worried when I told her what Pansy did.She insists that she wants to meet you...Look I know you're surprised,but my father had a strong influence on her too,she no longer cares about pureblood thing,just like me"

"Okay Draco...We can meet her whenever she wants" she said with a smile.

"Okay,once you get better,you'll get to meet her"

"I'm feeling great Draco,really"

"Tonight then?" I asked.

"Sure"

"She can't wait to see you" I said smiling. "I'll be here around eight o'clock to pick you up then"

"Okay"

"Goodbye love" I said kissing her on the forehead

"Goodbye,I love you"

"I love you too"

"Mother???" I shouted as I entered the manor

"Oh my God Draco did something happened to Hermione?" she asked as she came downstairs in a hurry.

"No,she's alright"

"Thanks God"

"Since you wanted to meet,I invited to come here for dinner,is that okay?"

"Of course" she said smiling."Seesy"The female house elf showed up immediately.

"Yes mistress?"

"We're having guests tonight,we have a lot of work to do" she said while going to the kitchen.

Hermione's POV

After I took a shower I entered my wardrobe.I couldn't decide what to wear,I had many clothes but nothing for special dinners or something.It was six o'clock ,Draco would be here after two hours.I decided to call Ginny to help me.

After 20 minutes I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in" I said as I opened the door

"Dinner at Malfoy's! No wonder you can't decide what to wear.What happened exactly?" said Ginny entering the house.

"Well,Draco's mother wanted to meet me..."

"Merlin's beard!!! Narcissa Malfoy? Lucius Malfoy's wife? Want to meet you? I'm shocked really"

"Ugh I don't know Ginny,Draco said she wanted to meet me and I accepted her invitation"

"Okay,okay"

"Where's James?"

"He's with Harry.He hasn't started working yet,so I left James with him"

We went upstairs in my wardrobe.Ginny stood there watching every dress.

"Not this,one...Not this one...This one neither....How about this?" she said while handing me a simple but elegant little black dress.

"It's simple,but with some jewerlys on you'll look great" she said

"Okay,it's really beautiful thanks"

After wearing the dress,I curled my hair and I did my make up.

"You look gorgeous" said Ginny with admiration."Except you didn't put on jewerlys!"

"Oh yeah,I totally forgot" I said while I searched for the set Draco bought me.

"Where did you get that?" asked Ginny

"Oh,Draco bought it for me,as a Christmas present"

"It's very beautiful...Hermione are you sure you'll be okay in that place?"

Actually,I'm not sure I'll be okay...I have horrible memories in that place,I still have nightmares about it,but I most be strong.

"I'm sure Ginny" I said faking a smile.

"If you say so...I have to go now,look at the clock Draco will be here for half an hour"

"Alright Ginny...Thank you very much indeed."

"No problem.Have a nice night"

Draco's POV

I knocked on Hermione's door."Coming" she said.Then after a minute she stood right in front of me ,wearing a little black dress,even thought she had her coat on,I saw that she was wearing the necklace that I bought her.I was overwhelmed by her parfume.

"Wow" I said.She blushed "You look very beautiful my princess"

"Thanks Draco" she said smiling.

"Shall we go?" I said,opening the car's door.
