Chapter Sixteen

  "You have to come with me tonight." TenTen said to Hinata ask they walked to lunch together. "I hate parties." She said with a groan leaving her lips, "Me too! But Neji has to go because he promised Shikamaru, and I need at least one friend there, especially if I'm meeting Temari."

"She's a nice girl, and you can just ask Sakura. She loves parties." TenTen sighed, "I did. She said she didn't want to because she's busy with Sasori, and Ino is going to be out with Sai apparently." Hinata laughed a little and asked, "So I'm your last choice?"

"Of course not! If anything I'd trade going to this party with Neji, for a sleepover with you any night." Rolling her eyes she said, "Fine, but I'm bringing Naruto.""That's perfect!"

"Hey, Princess." Naruto said while Hinata sat next to him, with his bruised hand sitting against her exposed knee. It had been almost an entire week since the altercation with Sasori, and Kisume.

Hinata assumed his bruises were boxing incidents, so she did her best to tend to them, and he was back to being fine, although he hardly sustained any injury in the first place.

"We're going to a party tonight." He nodded, "Okay, I'll pick you up." "Wait you're going?" Sakura asked as she sat at the table, "Yeah, you should too." She sighed, "Fine, I'll meet you guys there, I will probably be a little late though."

"To what?" Kiba asked as him and Sasuke joined the lunch table. Sasuke on the other hand had a healing black eye, and though it worried Sakura initially, she didn't ask about it, instead she offered him an ibuprofen.

"The party, you guys are coming right?" TenTen asked, and they nodded. "Of course, Ino?" She shook her head while resting her head against her boyfriends shoulder. "We have a date night."

"We should have a group date sometime." Hinata suggested, making TenTen and Ino smile. "That would be so much fun." Sakura blushed as Ino teased her playfully, "Sakura, you're welcome to come with whichever boy is making you happiest that day."

She rolled her emerald eyes while getting up from her seat, "Ha ha, yeah whatever. I'm using the restroom." When she walked to her destination, she opened the door to see two girls bullying Karin. When her crimson colored eyes looked into Sakura's, the two girls glanced over their shoulders, and laughed.

"You think she's going to help? Everyone fucking hates you, Karin." Although she hated Karin just as much as the next person, she couldn't stand by and watch anyone get bullied in her presence. As one girl lifted her hand to hit Karin, Sakura grabbed her arm, and stepped in front of her. "Get away from her."

The girls laughed, as they thought that she was joking. "Are you sticking up for her? Are you forgetting everything she's done to you?"

"I don't care what she did, you guys are just as bad if you're going to assault and bully her. So either get out of here, or I'll force you out of here." She stated sternly, making the girls roll their hazel eyes. "Yeah, whatever."

When they walked away, Karin was silent for a moment, as Sakura went into one of the stalls.Once she walked out, Karin was still trying to calm down from what had just happened.

"Thank yo-" Sakura cut her off as she washed her hands, "I didn't do that for you."

She stated simply while drying her hands with a paper towel, "Regardless of who you are, I can't sit back and watch someone get bullied." Karin sighed, "I know you still haven't forgiven me for what I did, but-"

A giggle left her lips, "Do you expect me to? You shared a naked video of me to the entire school, Karin. You know guys still ask me if it was me from that video, even almost an entire year later? Then on top of that, your careless actions almost made my friend end her life, all because you decided to be a shitty person. Literally I don't get why you always had to be such a bitch, when we gave you multiple chances to be our friend."

"Even after what you did to me, I still vouched for you, and told everyone that you were also under the influence when you posted it, when we both know you just did it to get back at me for making out with that boy, and I've came to terms with that. But Hinata? She never did anything to you, and we all thought you were our friend."

As Sakura gave her a piece of her mind, Karin couldn't do anything but listen. "But it's whatever, it's really your lose because we're great people." She said with a smile on her lips.

"I'm sorry, Sakura. I can't express how sorry I am to either of you, but I hope you know that I have changed. Although it took a while, I know what I did to you was wrong, and I just want to say how strong you are for even allowing me to remain your friend after that. I hope that you find it in your heart to forgive me eventually."

Rolling her Emerald eyes, she parted her lips to respond before she said, "I know you're probably mad about the other night at Sasuke's-" Her face scrunched in confusion as she cut her off.

"What do you mean?" Though she acted coy, Karin knew exactly what she was doing. "O-oh I'm guessing he didn't tell you." "Tell me what?" She asked the girl, feeling her heart drop to her stomach. "He just picked me up from the party after you left with Sasori."

Sakura nodded, "And I just spent the night with him." When she said that, Sakura chuckled, thinking of how he said that she was the only one. "Well I hope you guys had a swell time." She said with a bright smile, before turning around and walking out of the restroom.

"Isn't your birthday coming up soon, Naruto?" Kiba asked him, "Next Friday actually." "That's soon, what are you planning?" He shrugged, "No idea. Probably just a party." They nodded, "Well that should be fun. Why don't we ever go over you guys place? You have an entire spot to yourselves."

Him and Sasuke shrugged their shoulders, "You guys are always welcome to. It's nothing too special." "Well Hinata and Sakura make it sound like a luxury hotel." Hinata blushed while Naruto laughed, and kissed her hand.

"It's a nice place." She said while glaring at her friend. "I'd hope so, you're only there every night." Neji teased, making her roll her lavender eyes while standing up, "Ha ha, I think I'll join my friend in the restroom."

"Aw come on, Hinata!" They laughed as she walked away with a blush on her face. Naruto gazed at her with a smile on his face, as he thought about how much he loved his girlfriend. Her friends watched him as his eyes watched her so lovingly, and it made them smile.

"You guys are too cute." TenTen said, making Ino nod in agreement. "Thank you." He said with a chuckle, "Are you bringing Temari?" Kiba asked his friend, and he nodded. "Of course. She has a strict dad though, so I'll have to leave early to take her home by curfew."

They nodded, "Gaara and Kankuro have parties all the time though." "That's what I said, and she said it's just different because she's a girl. Her brother's can do whatever, and she can't even have a curfew pass eleven."

The girls groaned, "That's so annoying, I feel bad for her." Shika nodded in agreement. While their friends talked at their lunch table, Hinata ran into Sakura as she walked out of the bathroom. "Hey, what's up?" She asked her friend, seeing that she was upset about something.

"I just got done talking to Karin, and apparently she spent the night at Sasuke's." Hinata froze for a moment and asked her friend, "He didn't tell you?" Her perfect eyebrows scrunched in confusion, "You knew?"

"I saw her leaving, and I assumed he would tell you after he realized that I saw everything." Sakura sighed, "Why didn't you tell me? He told me I was the only one when we had our date, that same day!" "I really thought he'd tell you, I'm sorry. If it makes you feel better though, Naruto doesn't think anything actually happened."

"I'm so fucking pissed. I've been so honest with him, and he lied about something so stupid. Something had to have happened, because he wouldn't of kept it from me if nothing happened." Hinata shook her head, "Just ask him about it, Sakura. We know we can't trust a word she says, and she's always been jealous of you."

Though Sakura knew that Hinata was right, she still couldn't shake the feeling that he had lied to her. "I guess I can't be that mad, I stayed at Sasori's the night before, and we didn't actually." She started while running her fingers through her hair, trying to remember what they even did. "God I don't even remember."

"That night never came back to you?" She shook her head, and she knew it was because of the drug she had taken, but she didn't want to tell Hinata. "I'm not completely clueless, I remember crying to you, and then leaving with Sasori. Then we went back to his place, and then my mind just goes blank. Maybe I was looking at his ceiling or something?"

"Sakura, I don't want you to worry, but that doesn't sound okay. If you can't remember you were probably too drunk to like-" Sakura cut her off, "I-I wasn't assaulted, like I know we didn't have sex." Hinata's lavender eyes held pure worry, "I never said you were, Sakura. Are you sure you're okay? You know you can tell me anything."

She shrugged a little, "I know we didn't do anything, because the whole time I was just thinking we shouldn't." Hinata nodded, "But then you woke up naked." A sigh left her lips, "Well yeah. What does that mean though? We were both fucked up."

"I guess it means whatever you want it to mean, but from the outside looking in, it looks like you were too messed up to consent to whatever happened."

"So what are you saying, Hinata?" Sakura asked her friend, scared of what she was implying. "Actually, no. Don't answer that. I'm gonna go to class. I'm fine, I'll just talk to Sasori about it." Before Hinata could say anything else, her friend was walking away. The bell rang, and Hinata just sighed to try and make herself less worried about her friend.

"Hey, Princess. You left your backpack at the table." "Thank you, Naruto." She said while shrugging it onto her shoulders. "Are you okay?" He asked her while throwing his arm around her shoulders, "Just worried about, Sakura." "Is she okay?" Hinata shrugged, "I don't know, and I hope that she'd tell me if she wasn't."

Not knowing what to say, he kissed her forehead sweetly, and pulled her closer to him. "Well don't worry about something you can't change, Princess. If you can change it, then you shouldn't worry because it's fixable." She nodded, "I guess you're right." "I'll pick you up tonight, okay?" Hinata nodded while they walked to her class, "Okay, sounds good." She kissed his cheek, "See you after school, Naruto." ~   "You look hot." Sakura said to Hinata as she walked into the party, with Naruto behind her. "You too, Sakura." She said while giving her a hug, "Did you come with TenTen?"

  Her question was answered when she saw Sasori standing across the room. "Are you freaking kidding me?" Hinata asked her friend, making Naruto follow her line of eyesight, to make eye contact with Sasori.

"I had to talk to him." Naruto excused himself, so that the two girls could talk, and went over to his friend with a bruised face. "So did you find out what happened?"

She shook her head, "I don't know what to say. I can't just be like, "Hey did you assault me while I was drunk?" I know he wouldn't hurt me." Hinata nodded, "Hopefully he wouldn't, and if you're actually okay with not knowing exactly what happened that night, then I'll drop it, Sakura. I'm just worried." Across the room with his friends, stood Sasuke with his arms crossed.

"Why the fuck is he here?" Sasuke asked as soon as he walked up to him, and his other friends. They all laughed, "He's with Sakura, that's Sasori."

He just shook his head, and reached for the bottle of booze sitting on the counter. "Does he bother you that much?" Kiba asked him, "He does." He answered simply, before pouring alcohol into his cup.

As he brought it to his lips and began to sip, he saw Sakura walk up to Sasori. He watched as the man wrapped his arms around her waist, and it made him roll his eyes, before chugging the cup full of alcohol. Shika glanced at his friend, and Lee asked what they were all thinking, "Oh, you're jealous?"

"Not at all." Sasuke said to them, before pouring himself more alcohol. "Alright, give me your keys." Naruto said to Sasuke while holding out his hand. "I'm fine, I'll probably leave soon anyways."

"If you get anymore I'm taking your keys." Sasuke nodded, though he couldn't focus as he saw Sasori and Sakura toast with their plastic cups, before downing the blue liquid in their cups.

"Do you guys want to dance?" A group of random girls asked, while approaching the boys who stood against the wall.  "I have a girlfriend." Naruto and Shikamaru said, while the other two single boys were dragged off to the crowd of teens.

Sasuke opened his mouth to decline the girls offer, but then they were interrupted by Karin. "Well I don't see her around." A girl said to Naruto, while putting her hand to his face.

He laughed and pointed to where she stood across the kitchen, with her best friend and her date for the night, "That's my Princess, I don't want her upset or anything." The girl glanced over her shoulder and asked, "Hinata Hyuga?" He nodded with a bright smile, while making eye contact with her.

Her eyebrows scrunched as she saw them, and Naruto moved away from the girl's hand. "What is he doing?" Hinata asked softly, thinking aloud, making her friends look in the direction she was looking.

Sakura watched as her eyes filled with jealousy, while Temari said, "Don't worry about it, those girls just love to flirt with girls boyfriends." When she said that, her green eyes wandered to Shikamaru who practically ignored the girl who was flirting with him.

"Just go over there." Sakura said to her, and she shook her head while looking away. "I don't care." Though she lied, she didn't want to question it in front of Temari and Sasori.

"I see your boyfriend is here." Sasori teased Sakura, as they made eye contact from across the room. He teasingly winked at the young man, while Sakura giggled as Sasori's soft lips kissed her ear. "I'm here with you, aren't I?" Sakura said while looking over her shoulder, and kissing his lips.

  "Let's get a shot, Temari." Hinata said while grabbing her hand, and pulling her a few feet away. "Hey, Princess." Naruto said to his girlfriend, while the girl continued to flirt with him.

"Hinata." The girl said, and Hinata gave her a bright fake smile. "Hi, what are you guys talking about?" Naruto could tell that she was faking, but he didn't say anything about it. "You, actually. He was just telling me how you guys are dating."

"Yeah, he's my boyfriend." She said with a smile, and the girl smiled while placing her hand on his arm. Her lavender eyes watched her touch him, while he laughed awkwardly at something the girl said. The only thing that kept Hinata calm was the drink in her hand, until she realized that it was empty.

"I'll get you a drink." Her friend said, before grabbing the the empty cup from her, only for her to shake her head with a smile, "No need. I'm gonna go dance, have your fun, Naruto." Idiotically, Naruto continued to talk to the girl.

Temari poured herself another drink, while shaking her head at how stupid Naruto was being. "He's dense, I know." Shikamaru said to her, making her look into his eyes. The girl who had tried to flirt with him was long gone, and Temari appreciated the way he behaved.

"Do you want to dance?" She asked him, while sipping her drink, and giving Hinata's to her. "I'm not a dancer."

Her bottom lip pouted cutely while reaching for his hand, "Aw come on." A sigh left his lips, before he grabbed her hand and pulled her body close to him. Kissing her lips, she blushed, before caressing his soft face with her hand and kissing him back.

Smiling at her new found friend and Shika from across the room, Sakura continued to sip her drink, and talk to her date. With the cup he had poured for her in her hand, she began to feel slightly fatigued, but brushed it off while looking up into his enticing eyes. "Can we talk about the other night?"

She asked, and he nodded while his hands cupped her ample ass, bringing a blush to her face. "I'm surprised you remember anything, you were so high."

"No, I know. I like can't remember anything besides walking into your apartment." She said with a blush coming to her cheeks, "So what do you want to know? You were pretty out of it." Her shoulders shrugged, "All of it. I just kinda felt weird because I couldn't remember anything, and I woke up naked."

His left eyebrow rose a little, "What are you hinting at, Sakura?" She shook her head and spoke in a soft tone to make him less defensive. "I'm not insinuating anything, Sasori. I'm just wondering what happened." Sakura said to Sasori, while trying to stay calm as her heart began to beat erratically.

"Third base. You know I wouldn't do anything without your consent, Sakura." He answered, and she nodded. "N-no, I know that Sasori. I was just anxious, because I hadn't done that in a while. I'm sorry."

"No worries, Babe." Sasori said before kissing her lips. She smiled against his lips, and wrapped her arms around his neck. When he pulled away, she parted her lips to ask him another question, but she was interrupted by the feeling of his phone vibrating in his pocket.

Pulling it from his pocket he said, "Shit, I have to answer this, I'll be right back." She nodded, and pulled away from him as he walked away.

Sasuke watched her from across the room, as he watched her bit her bottom lip, while looking down to the hard wood floor. Walking up to Naruto and Sasuke, she smiled at them. "Hey, you guys." Naruto said hello to her, while Sasuke ignored her, making her look at him for the first time that night.

"I see your date left." Naruto said, and she shrugged while pouring more alcohol in her cup. "We're just friends." He nodded, while Sasuke just scoffed, making her look him in his eyes. "What's your damage, Sasuke?"

A chuckle left his lips when she said that, "My damage?" She laughed a little too, before downing her drink like a shot. When she did so, she noticed that she was starting to feel disoriented, but she still chugged her drink without any regrets.

"I just don't think-" She cut him off, and their friend left them alone to find his girlfriend.

"You don't get to have an opinion on what I do, Sasuke." Sakura said to him, about to pour herself another drink. "Sakura, I'm just saying-" She cut him off while rolling her eyes, "You just say a lot of things."

"What's that supposed to mean?" He asked her, "You mean other than you telling me I was the only one, after Karin spent the night at your place?"

His eyebrows scrunched in confusion, "Yeah, she told me everything, Sasuke. You're such a dick, you know that? It's such a dick move for you to be friends with her, after she literally spread a nude picture of me around school." She didn't mean to say that aloud, but her mind seemed to have a mind of it's own as she started to feel as if she were high.

Placing his hand on her arm he looked at her in disbelief, "I didn't know, Sakura. I'm sorry." He said truthfully as he saw tears come to her eyes, while she made a big scene in front of the entire kitchen. "Stop fucking touching me, you don't care, and you need to stop acting like you do."

She said while moving away from his grasp, only for him to reach for her again, making her even more angry as she slapped him harshly across his face. Her emerald eyes only held anger, until she noticed that her finger was bleeding because she hit it against the counter, and broke her acrylic nail. "Ow."

Their friends weren't sure what to do as they stood by, until Hinata walked up to her and asked, "Are you bleeding?" When Sakura nodded, they left the room. "I got you ice." Karin spoke softly, while sticking out her hand. His onyx eyes looked into her's, and he thought of what Sakura had just told him.

"I'm fine.""Oh come on, let me help. I know what she told you, and Sakura can be a little off sometimes, because of everything." Sasuke gave her a questionable look, and she tilted her head, ready to ruin Sakura's reputation.
