Chapter 14
16:00, 26 July 2015Barry Allen is the Flash, were my last thoughts before everything went black.
"I have a killer headache." I slightly moaned after I opened my eyes. The first thing is saw was Barry, he sat beside me and he had a guilty look on his face. "Barry." I murmured. "Yeah?" He asked. I shut my eyes. "What happend?" I asked. I opened my eyes again and saw the red colored suit. "O my god." I murmured. I slowly stood up, ignoring the pain in my head, and thought of an excuse. "I have to go." I slowly said walking to the door, my eyes glued on Barry. The moment I knew he couldn't see anymore, I started running. When I ran around the corner I almost bumped into a man in a wheelchair. "I'm sorry." I breathed. "It's fine. I don't think we met. I'm dr. Wells." "Audrey." I said shaking his hand. "Audrey." I heard someone say behind me. "Please, Barry. Leave me alone." I begged. "Audrey, let me explain." I heard the hopelessness in his voice, he grabbed my arm. "Don't." I said shaking, trying to hide the tears in my eyes. "It was nice to meet you dr. Wells." I said with a shaking voice. "The pleasure was mine." He smiled. I turned around and walked away. In the blink of an eye Barry appeared in front of me. "Audrey." He said in a begging tone. "Barry." Dr. Wells said, "Give the girl some time." Barry slowly stepped aside. His jaw was clenched. I walked away, my head held high. And I finally let the tears flow.
I heard a soft knock on the door. "What do you want?" I shouted annoyed. "Audrey, please come out your room." Caitlin begged. "No, thanks." My room lied next to a bathroom and I had a lot of snacks, I've been here for a few days and I could stay here for at least a few more days. She walked away a little bit later because the doorbell rung. Several minutes later someone knocked again. "No, Caitlin." I said, loud enough to hear it on the other side of the door. "Audrey." That wasn't Caitlin. "Leave." I shouted in panic. "Open the door, Audrey. Or he is going to do it." Caitlin said. "No." I screamed. I rolled of the bed and crawled under it. The door started to vibrate and a few seconds later it cracked open. "Thank you." I heard Caitlin softly say. She walked into the room and lied down next to my bed. "Are you coming?" She asked me. I shook my head. "Is he gone?" I whispered. "No." Said Caitlin. She grabbed my leg and started pulling. "No!" I started shouting repeatedly. Caitlin was stronger than me so after a few minutes I lied next to my bed. "Congratulations, what now?" I asked sarcastically. "You are going to talk with Barry." Caitlin said. "I'd rather jump out the window." I muttered. "Luckily, you don't have a choice." Caitlin said smiling. She walked to the door and left me alone with Barry.
"Audrey, I am so sorry." Barry softly said. "I should have told you. You, especially you, had the right to know. I shouldn't have kept you in the dark." He slowly continued. He slowly took a few steps forwards. "One more step and I'll cut your feet off." I warned him. He looked hurt. "I thought we had a connection." He murmured. "I had a connection with the Flash, not with you. And that was in the past." I said slowly. "But I am the Flash." He said, louder now. "Don't say that again." I said quietly. "I am the Flash." He repeated, challenging me. "You kissed me." He said slow. "Stop." I warned. "You can't deny it." He said, smirking slightly. Angrily I stood up. I swung my arm backwards and made a fist. Ready to hit him. I swung my arm forward but before my fist could hit him he was gone. "Coward." I muttered angrily. "That wasn't nice." I heard behind me and I felt his hand on my waist. "Don't." I hissed. I pushed him and walked to the door. "Caitlin, let me out, now!" I shouted furious. "How did it go?" She asked smiling after she opened the door. "I'm leaving." I said.
