Chapter 8

09:23, 15 March 2025

Takehiru sat alone on his desk stroking his jaw gently, still feeling the pain from two days ago. What does even that guy want from me, even calling me a stalker. He thought to himself as he caressed a framed picture of Suisei on his desk. I'm not a stalker, I'm just her biggest fan. He smirked, opening his phone to text Suisei.

"Are you home right now?"

He didn't hesitate, he never, all those pictures of her he sent, he never think twice before sending it to her, for him those pictures he sent are just the tip of an iceberg of his gallery.

"You haven't replied my texts and answer my calls for days. I'm lonely, you know?"

He sends another message again and again for days since Suisei didn't give any replies. What a bitch. He talks to himself as he slammed his desk, upset at her.

"What does she think ignoring me like this?! I'm the only who understand her!" Takehiru speaks, at the same time scrolling through the hundreds pictures of her he had. Some from her public appearances, some are candid captured without her noticing.

His fingers itched at the send button, desperate of sending her his form of love.

Meanwhile on the other hand, Suisei who's still at Sakura Miko's apartment just announced her hiatus through her Twitter account related to health issue. Of course, all of this are under Yagoo's order.

She had told him yesterday, using Miko's phone she made a call towards Yagoo asking him if she could meet him outside of the office, which Yagoo agreed.

"I'll take care of this, Suisei-san. For now, just take some breaks, okay?"

Yagoo's words echoed in her mind, the usual smile Yagoo had are gone that day, replaced by something more unreadable.

"It's okay, Sui-chan. Everything will be normal again, trust me." Miko said as she reached to her trembling hand, calming her down.

"Is it? What if things are just getting worse...I'm scared, Mikochi, I'm scared...." She speaks as she trying to hold her tears.

Despite the little relief she felt after telling the CEO of what happened with her and Takehiru, there's still fear lurking inside of her, fear of what she had built might collapse just because a picture.

"It's not going to get worse, believe me, Sui-chan." Miko speaks her voice gentle as she tried to reassuring her. "Everything will be okay. For now, kept your phone off for a while so that bastard can't contact you."

"I can't keep being a burden to you..."

"You're not a burden, okay? Stop saying those things! We've known each other since High School, you don't remember that?"

"But..."

"It's okay, you can be here as long as you want, Takehiru won't find you here." Miko said as she pulled Suisei to a hug. "Good thing we found his tracker on your purse.

Yesterday right when the two walks toward Suisei's apartment to gather her things, Miko found a tracker in Suisei's purse hidden beneath her items. Miko could spot it in an instant and destroyed it in the spot.

Things couldn't get any worse that's what Suisei and Miko thoughts at first, but now there's a tracker playing a role, Takehiru aren't getting any mercy from Miko.

Miko still vividly remember Suisei's reaction, the horror in her eyes as she and Miko discovered it, the realization of how worst Takehiru truly are, and the answer to how he had private picture of her.

"There won't be any mercy for him." Miko muttered under her breath as she hugged Suisei tighter.

As she leaned into Miko's comforting embrace, her mind race with whirlwind of thoughts. The fear and paranoia that Takehiru had instilled all over her were suffocating. Her skin crawled at how close he actually is to her.

"I don't know how much longer I can take this," Suisei whispered, "It feels like he can come anytime and anywhere."

Miko tightened the hug. "He won't. Yagoo's handling it, remember?" She added with a fierce glint in her eyes. "Besides, if that creeps tries anything, I'll make sure he regrets it."

Suddenly, Miko's phone vibrated catching both of their attention to it, Suisei tensed but Miko quickly picked it up.

"It's Yagoo." She turned to Suisei as she answers the call. "He said everything will be clear within three or four days."

"Thanks goodness." Suisei sighed, letting out the breath she had been holding. "I just want this to end."

"It will." Miko replied, her voice firm. "And I'll make sure he can never bother you again. But, until then, I think we should do something fun for now."

"Like what?" Suisei asked, clearing her throat.

"Maybe we can bake some cookies? Remember when you almost burned the kitchen that day?" Miko smiled mischievously.

"Hey! That was your fault! Who leaves the open at 400 degrees for cookies?"

The laughter lightened up the mood, a brief escape from the darkness that looming all over them. But as the two discussed more casual plan, Suisei's mind began to wander, curious about how Y/N doing.

In the other hand, inside a cozy and warm Coffee Shop, Okayu and Y/N could be seen sitting across each other enjoying their cup of coffee together.

"It feels good to be able to find you again." Okayu said as she takes a sip, her tails wiggling side to side. "I'm so glad you're here with me again."

Y/N smiled faintly at her words, the warm of the cup of coffee in his hand spreaded through his body. His eyes couldn't stop from staring at her, he didn't expect the little mischievous girl would turn to a charming woman.

Okayu whom noticed he's staring at her for a long time, can't help but started to teased him.

"You can't...you know? You're my manager and I'm your talent..." She said as she averted her gaze from him, her cheeks blushed. "We cannot cross the line, Y/N-chan..."

"O-okayu..." Y/N said his cheeks slightly red.

"I'm lying." Okayu chuckled as she saw her childhood friend's face. "Gosh, I didn't expect you can be so easy to tease." She giggled. "Where did the cool Y/N-chan go."

Okayu's teasing lit up the atmosphere between them, her purple eyes shimmering under the light as she leaned back to her chair. He chuckled softly, scratching the back of his neck, unable to answer her question.

"I'm here you know? Cooler than ever."

Hearing his answer Okayu laughed more than before, she placed her hands in her belly aching from the laugh she had.

"Oh! Now that you know I'm a streamer, you should meet the other girls too!" Okayu spoke as she took another sip. "I think Koro-san will excited to see you."

"I actually met with couple of girls before." He replied.

"Really? Who did you meet?" Okayu asked, her eyes full of excitement.

"I met with a long blonde-haired woman that has horn in her head? There's a girl with her with a short black hair and I met with Tokino Sora too."

"Ah, that's Choco-sensei!" Okayu exclaimed at the mention of horn and blonde hair.

"I think so, because the other girl with her are calling her Choco-sen too." Y/N replied, his mind flashed to the time he met with Choco-sensei and Subaru.

"Oh! That's Choco-sensei and Subaru! Choco-sensei is a nice person, you just need to be extra careful with her." Okayu giggles remembering how lewd Choco-sensei are. "Sora-chan are fun too, you should hear her singing!"

"She looks like an Idol after all, I'll make sure to hear her singing voice."

"Well then, I should introduce my gen mates too." Okayu spoke, her tail swaying back and forth.

The two continued to have a conversation, catching up about the time they missed together, Okayu rested her chin on her palm, excited to hear how his life goes. But, of course Y/N didn't tell her about how ruined his life truly are after high school, he only told her that he's been great all this time.

But, somehow... "You know you can't lie to me, right?" Okayu said as he stared into his eyes. "Your eyes aren't the same anymore, Y/N-chan." She looks into him, noticing every detail of his facial figure. "Just what happened to you."

Y/N shocked, sweat ran down from his forehead. Didn't know Okayu could spot his lie just like that. But, he doesn't want her to get worried, and keep telling lies even if she can sense it.

"What do you mean? I've been doing great, you know? I even do martial arts."

Okayu sighed, sensing another of his lies again. This boy... She thought to herself as she continued to stare at him, never leaving his eyes. "Well, I'm glad you're doing good. And I'm definitely looking forward too see your martial arts!"

He smiled hearing her words, happy that someone listened to him.

"A lot of things happened too in my life," Okayu speaks, her playful tone faded out her cheerful face turn vulnerable. "But right now, I'm happy that you're really here with me. I miss you a lot."
