It had been almost two months since Mia joined the team and so far she hadn't tried to flirt with Athena. Athena was in the laundry room when the door opened up, Athena didn't bother looking up. She was busy sorting her things out, meticulously. It was her thing. "Still sorting your laundry by pattern and colors?" A voice rang out and Athena's body tensed slightly as she stood up and turned around slowly turned around. There stood Carol Danvers in the flesh. "Carol." Athena greeted with a nod. "I saw Lucy left too huh?" Carol asked. "Yea, and now Mia's the newest recruit." Athena replied.

Carol nodded slowly. "Well...uh, I'm back permanently now. If you want to do something later or whatever?" Athena raised an eyebrow. "Permanently? No more space missions?" Carol nodded. "That's right." Athena nodded. "Ok, well I'll think about it. Just know if something comes from this, we need to take things slow, no rushing into it like we did last time." Carol nodded. "I agree." "Good, you can tell my mom that's our plan." Athena added as she tossed in a laundry tablet and started the washers. "Damnit! Do I have to?" Carol groaned. "Yes." Athena replied as she left the laundry room.

"Do you have to do what?" Natasha asked from the head of the stairs. "SHIT! Nat! Didn't see you there!" Carol yelped. "I gathered that. Now what's going on here?" Natasha asked looking from her daughter to Carol. "I'm just doing my laundry." Athena replied as she passed by them making her way upstairs. Natasha turned to Carol raising an eyebrow. "Now what were you two talking about?" "About hanging out again. Taking things slow, now that I'm here permanently, basically seeing how this goes if we go into a relationship." Carol replied. Natasha didn't respond right away, instead she stared at Carol. "I see. Well, if you're serious about this Danvers, then you can hang out with my daughter." Carol nodded. "I am serious." "Good." Natasha replied before she stepped back letting Carol go up the stairs.
