Early the next morning Athena was in the training room mid spar with her mom when the newbie walked into looking ready to train. Her hair was up in a tight ponytail, and she had on shorts and a smile on her face that said she was cocky. Athena flipped her mom over on to the thick mat with practiced ease. "Good! Let's go again!" Natasha instructed. Athena nodded and they began sparing again.

The rookie sat on the bench and watched as she stretched. "Do you two always spar each other?" She asked. Natasha and Athena paused and looked at her. "Yes, because my daughter is the only one here who can keep up with me." Natasha replied. "I bet I can." The newbie said. Athena looked at her mom. "Ok newbie..what's your name?" Athena asks crossing her arms. "Mia. Mia Smith." She replied. "Of course it is. Well by all means, spar width my mom. I will laugh when you loose. And you will, miserably." Athena replied stepping off the mat. Natasha rubbed her hands together as she got into position.

The spar did not last long at all. In a short few seconds Mia Smith landed hard on her back with a loud thud. "Ooof! Ok that was harder than I thought." Mia muttered. Athena looked down at her. "Told you rookie." "Not gonna offer a hand up?" Mia asked. Athena smirked and shook her head. "Nope." Mia stood up and looked at Athena. "Are you always this rude?" Athena smirked. "Most of the time." Before Mia could respond in walked Pepper holding Morgan in her arms. "And that's my cue to go see my goddaughter." Athena said as she walked off to where Pepper stood. "Hey munchkin! Come to see me spar hmm?" Athena cooed. Morgan squealed and reached out to Athena who quickly took her. "Come on Morgan, let's see what you got." Athena said before she walked off to lay on a mat with Morgan.
