After the movies ended Athena helped everyone cleaned up the living room before disappearing downstairs to her room. Lucy stood there for a moment before she walked downstairs too to her own room. "Tonight was fun, even more fun to see Lucy finally growing a pair and being more confident with Athena." Wanda said. "Yea." Natasha said as she walked off downstairs stopping outside her daughter's room before knocking on the door.

"Come in mama!" Athena called from inside where she lay on her bed texting Yelena. "How'd you know it was me?" Natasha asked. "You still knock before coming in." Athena replied. "Yea...I do don't I?" Natasha replied as she sat on the edge of the bed. "Well what is it? You don't come in right before bed without something to say." Athena stated. Natasha rolled her eyes. "I came to ask about you and Lucy. You kissed her earlier, I know. I saw. I just want to make sure you're ok, and that you don't get your heart broken again like with Carol."

Athena nodded. "Honestly,  I don't think I'm gonna let it go as far as Carol and I went." Natasha eyed her daughter curiosity. "Why's that?" Athena shrugged. "I don't know, Lucy's ok but she has this vibe about her that says 'I'm high maintenance'. And we both know I don't do that well." Natasha nodded. "I know, but maybe you could give it a chance. Just until you can tell if she's gonna stay around or disappear." Athena nodded. "Ok mom, I'm gonna go to sleep now. I love you, goodnight." Athena replied. "Goodnight sweetheart." Natasha replied as she kissed Athena's cheek before walking out the door.

The next morning Athena woke up and tended her dogs before heading into the training room. As she grabbed the throwing knives and turned around she became face to face with Carol. "Hey..." Carol greeted.
