Later that night Athena sat in the living room in sweatpants and a tank top texting with Yelena when Lucy sat down beside her. "Do you not like me or something?" Lucy blurted out. Athena looked up from her phone. "It's not that I don't like you. You're nice enough, it's just you don't click well with me. I'm adventurous and spontaneous and your storybook romance." Lucy looked at Athena for a moment before speaking. "I do spontaneously...and adventure." Athena arched an eyebrow at her and in one swift motion Athena leaned in and kissed Lucy hard on the lips.

Lucy was mildly stunned for a moment before kissing Athena back slipping her arms around her neck. Before it could go any further than a kiss Athena broke it off and smirked at Lucy. ""Well...maybe I pegged you wrong." Athena said. "You think?" Lucy asked. "Ok, I'll give you a serious chance." Athena replied. "Good. Now who are you texting?" Lucy asked. "My Aunt Yelena, what are you doing up?" Athena asked. "I heard it's girls night." Lucy said. "Right....well I'm gonna go get the drinks out." Athena said as she headed off into the kitchen.

A few minutes later Wanda, Natasha, Kate, Shuri, Pepper, and Valkyrie arrived in the living room. "I got the beer and the mocktail for Pepper." Athena said handing Pepper a Shirley Temple. "Thank you sweetie." Pepper replied with a smile. "Ok, what should we watch?" Wanda asked. Everyone began shouting out movie ideas while Pepper ordered takeout. "Ok, winner is Road Trip!" Wanda said as she put the movie on and returned the sofa. The movie began and Lucy moved closer to Athena eventually so she was sitting right beside her. "Looks like Lucy managed to prove Athena wrong." Pepper whispered to Natasha. "It would appear so. Let's hope she doesn't screw it up like Carol did." Natasha replied.
