After Sky finished baking the pancakes, he returned to the living room, a plate piled high in his hands. He paused, leaning against the wall, watching Nani and Ching-ching laughing as they played. A smile tugged at his lips; they were undeniably adorable.

Nani, noticing him after a moment, blushed slightly and nervously scratched the back of his neck. "Oh, Sky! Were you... were you watching us for a while?" he asked, a little self-consciously.

Sky chuckled. "Not really," he said, approaching the table. He set down the pancakes. Ching-ching immediately snatched one, her eyes wide with anticipation.

A bite later, her face lit up. "Wow! These are amazing!"

Sky grinned, ruffling Ching-ching's hair gently. "Thanks! I'm glad you like them. Just eat slowly, okay? Don't want you choking."

"Yes, Uncle Sky!" Ching-ching replied, her mouth full.
