"What do you want to talk about?" Nani asked, settling onto the end of his bed.

Sky countered, "Do you dream of becoming a model?"

"What? It was just a dream," Nani replied.

"Did you know Milk asked me to be her model?" Sky's question brought a smile to Nani's face, but Sky sensed underlying sadness and disappointment.

"Oh, congratulations," Nani said, his smile a little strained. 

"I could have refused, but Dad insisted. I don't know what to say to Milk."

Nani responded, "Wherever you're happy, that's where you belong. That's fine with me."

"But..." Sky began.

"There's no 'but,' Sky," Nani interrupted.
