Part 15

A/N:

Well, this part is a bit shorter than the ones before. I'm sorry about that.

I've had a couple of problems figuring out where I wanted to go with this story, if I wanted it to have a happy or sad ending. I'm still not sure which I prefer to be honest.

Anyway, this part at least has some good stuff about Plagg!

-♡-

Adrien knew he had to tell her the truth, but he had also feared yet another break up if he did.

He had never been too sure about Marinette's feelings towards Luka. She had always called him just a friend, but considering that Adrien himself had called Marinette 'just a friend' all along as well, he wasn't sure if she meant it the way he did, or actually being just friends.

He pressed his lips together, secretly, yet not so secretly praying Marinette was too tired to go deeper with this conversation.

"Adrien, what text message are you talking about?" Marinette's voice was cold.

He gave in.

"Luka told you he loved you a couple years ago. The night he went to New York to be precise. He texted you that he had always loved you, but I was taking care of you that night, you were way too drunk. I saw that message and it just overcame me. In shame I didn't dare telling you about it," Adrien explained.

Marinette's eyebrows raised up, her jaw dropping, leaving a small gab between her lips. She didn't know what to say.

The ending of Luka's and her friendship ended up bringing her and Chat Noir closer, which lead to her sitting there on her bed together with Adrien. But she couldn't stop thinking about where she would be in life right now if she had gotten the message.

"Okay," she almost whispered, Adrien furrowed his brows.

"Okay?" He repeated questioningly.

Marinette had no idea what else to say. She wasn't mad at him, how could she have been?

Adrien actions ended up bringing them close together. She was with the guy she had always dreamed of being with. Yes, Adrien should not have done that, but she wasn't blaming him, although she probably should have.

"I'm sorry, I'm really tired, Adrien," Marinette took the baby oil bottle from Adrien's hands and opened it. "I'm just wanting to get this on my skin and, hopefully, have the soreness swell down by tomorrow, and sleep."

Adrien nodded as he understood. If he hadn't known he probably just messed with her mind, he would have stayed in her room for the night, or at least would have asked if he could stay, but he didn't want to push it.

He stood up from the bed, placing both his hands gently onto Marinette's jawline, tilting her head a little bit up before kissing her forehead tenderly.

"Do you need help with that?" He asked, giving Marinette a soft smile.

"I'll manage, thank you."

Adrien nodded once again, making his way out of the room. As he had reached the door he turned around one last time.

"Good night," he said.

"Are you not staying here?" Marinette wanted him to stay, but then she also wanted some space for the moment.

"Do you want me to?" He knew Marinette needed her space, he could tell by the way her voice sounded ever so hesitant.

She was hesitating to answer.

"I love you," Adrien chuckled and immediately walked out of the room.

He didn't even give Marinette the time to say it back, but then again, he wasn't sure if she was going to say it back in the first place. She had said it before, but maybe she just couldn't right after a shocking confession like this, and Adrien wasn't ready to get his heart broken yet again.

He got back into his room, close the door behind him as he entered. He immediately started to strip down from his clothes as he just wanted to get into bed as well, being done with life for the day.

Adrien placed his phone down onto his desk, taking a quick glance at his favourite photo that was back at its usual spot. He would smile softly.

His phone lighted up. He would flinch at the sudden light highlighting his chin from underneath. Adrien had totally forgotten his phone being on mute, so it would have made a sound but only light up the screen.

He took a look, only to find Marinette's name popping up right after Nino's.

Of course Adrien would ignore Nino, prioritising Marinette.

"I love you, too, Kitty. Good night <3"

A huge smile spread across Adrien's face as he read Marinette's message. In that very moment he had wished he stayed, stayed in her room so he would be holding her in his arms.

He would be cuddling up to her, his arms wrapped around her body, breathing in her amazing vanilla and strawberry scent, feeling her warmth, feeling her comfort. It was everything he had wanted in that moment, but he couldn't possibly come crawling back into her room like a toddler would when their were scared in the dark.

He quickly put on his pyjama pants and hopped into his huge bed, covering himself up with a blanket as his mind couldn't stop thinking about Marinette.

Yet, when his thoughts went into a dangerous direction, dangerous as in something in his pants was about to rise, Plagg made an entrance.

"So glad to see you apart from pigtails," he said, earning a growl from Adrien. "No need to turn into a cat."

"What do you want, Plagg?" Adrien rolled his eyes.

"I had a bit of a chat with your girlfriend," Plagg said proudly as he laid down on the Adrien's pillow, slightly cuddling up to his owner.

As much of a cold-hearted, cheese-loving stinky sock Plagg might have been, he loved Adrien. Adrien had given Plagg everything he could have ever asked for, treating him like an actual person and not just some pet that got fed three times a day and earning a treat every once in a while.

Plagg usually was pretty unlucky when it came to his owners. They hadn't been willing to feed his as much cheese because it was too stinky or they simply couldn't afford the amount Plagg would have loved to get. Of course the money issue had never been taken badly, yet even if his previous owner had the chance to get as much cheese as they wanted, the smell always was a big no.

And taking Plagg's rather harsh and teasingly rude character and way of communicating into consideration, his previous owners quickly got tired of him, finding he was the most tiring Kwami anyone could have gotten.

But no Adrien. Adrien was treating Plagg like a friend. Plagg got his privacy, all the cheese he wanted, and Adrien didn't take his teasing badly. In fact, he actually liked the rudeness in Plagg, it was different. And besides, Plagg gave Adrien a lot more freedom, so why wouldn't he value him?

So, whenever it was time to sleep, Plagg would become pretty affectionate, letting his soft side streaming through. He loved Adrien, and he loved the joy he could feel coming from Adrien when Plagg wasn't being a total asshole. It made him happy.

"You know, you can call her Marinette, right?" Adrien laughed.

"Yet I was here thinking her name was Pigtails all along," Plagg spoke, lightly brushing his tiny head against Adrien's as a usual cat would do.

"Anyway, what were you talking about?" Adrien grew curious.

"Nothing in particular, just telling her how much of a pain in the ass you are, and about your loud snoring. She said she's glad you're sleeping in your room then," Plagg lied.

"Did she now?" Adrien laughed, immediately gapping his phone into his hands to sent Marinette a quick text.

"I don't even snore."

"You do though, Adrien," Plagg said after Adrien had hit send.

"I do not."

"I can hear you snore up into my room, Kitty."

"Told you," Plagg laughed, "besides, we didn't even talk about that. I was begging for a vacation."

"Begging? Why can't I imagine you begging for something?" Adrien laughed along.

"So you do have a begging kink. Sugarcube mentioned you had one," Plagg almost died of laughter, but Adrien really didn't feel like laughing at this. "Sir Adrien Agreste, the guy that begs his Pigtails to beg him for human intercourse."

The way of Plagg conveying his message did end up making Adrien laugh though.

"Good night, Plagg," Adrien pulled his blanket up until it was covering Plagg completely, hoping Plagg would finally keep his mouth shut. Yet, what Adrien had never admitted to Plagg, he loved these silly talks with him.

-♡-

Adrien could feel the weight of his blanket lifting off of his body, cold air hitting his skin. He would breathe in sharply as he could feel cold fingertips roaming his chest.

"Are you awake?" A sweet voice asked, music to his ears. He knew the voice only too well. He could recognise her voice everywhere.

He kept his eyes closed.

"Adrien," the voice whispered.

He could feel weight on his legs, warmth pushing down onto his crotch. Adrien would try so hard not to lay his hands down onto her waist, guiding his love.

She bent down, leaving wet kisses on his chest, following up to his neck, over his jawline, to his mouth.

A bulge began to form in Adrien's pants and he could hear her whimper as it was pressing against her private part.

"I love you," she whispered into his ear, stroking her hands down his body as she said up straight.

By now his hands found their way to her butt, squeezing it lightly as he opening his eyes, finding Marinette sitting on top of him, naked.

He watched her as she stroked her hands up her own body, cupping her own breasts, massaging them. She moaned softly, biting her bottom lip as she was waiting for a reaction, yet he didn't react, he just observed, enjoying the show.

Marinette traced one hand down her body, stroking along her sides, lingering over her abdomen until she would touch her vulva. She slipped two of her fingers between her folds, moaning out loudly, still awaiting a reaction from Adrien.

And this time he would react. He shifted underneath her, feeling more and more discomfort in his pants. He pushed his hips up, rubbing his boner against Marinette's intimate area. She moaned out loud once again.

She would then lean back, holding herself steading with her free hand while she was drawing circle on her clitoris with the other. Leaning back would grant Adrien more sight of Marinette's doing.

Adrien began shifting even more. He couldn't touch her since he had to hold her up so she wouldn't fall, yet all he wanted to do was touch her, help her get the satisfaction she deserved.

Marinette stroked down to her vagina, inserting her middle finger, groaning.

She locked her eyes with Adrien, once again biting down onto her bottom lip. Her jaw dropped, her eyes closing as she would enjoy her own touches.

"Mari," Adrien spoke in a rather moaning way.

"Adrien," Marinette giggled, continuing to stimulate herself.

She looked deeply into his eyes when she suddenly sat up straight.

"The human thing, urgh," her mouth moved, but her voice sounded so much like-

Plagg.

Adrien groaned in frustration as his eyes shot open.

"You see, I thought this nasty stuff would cool down once you two were dating, but apparently not," Plagg continued to talk while Adrien had a pretty obvious problem to deal with.

"Did you have to wake me up?" Adrien hissed, lifting up one of his many pillows, laying it down on his face before screaming into it.

"Someone's got quite the anger issues," Plagg said, pushing a slice of Camembert into his mouth.

"I do not," Adrien disagreed.

Adrien looked down at himself, discovering he had taken off his pyjama pants in his sleep, being left in only his boxer briefs. There was a pretty obvious bulge formed in those, with a small wet spot.

"Of course," Adrien complained, slowly getting up from his bed.

He looked at his phone, it was already six in the morning. Although he had barely gotten any sleep, he figured he could stay awake since he had to be up by eight anyway.

"I'm taking a shower, try not to do anything stupid," Adrien walked into his bathroom, looking around only to find Marinette's clothes from the other day still laying around. He chuckled, shaking his head in disbelief, yet his mind immediately drifted off to what had happened the last time they were in this room together.

He picked up her clothes, throwing them into the laundry basket before he went to strip down from his boxers. Adrien took a quick look into the mirror, only to see how messed up he looked.

The hickeys on his collarbones were still a rather purple to blueish colour. To his luck his tuxedo was covering them all, so Marinette's parents didn't see those.

Shrugging off the thoughts of yesterdays encounter, he walked into his shower, turning it on. The water was cold, a little too clod at first.

Usually Adrien would take a cold shower in the morning, but this morning he felt like he needed something warm. Not only because his dick was still hard, but because he genuinely just wanted some warmth.

He looked down at himself, immediately seeing his still present boner. He groaned, knowing it will stay way longer if he wouldn't be doing anything to work against it. Yet, he felt weird only thinking about jerking off when his girlfriend was just in the room next door.

It wasn't like he would walk in there to fuck her, but just the though of jerking himself off disgusted him now that he was with Marinette.

He didn't technically lie when he told Marinette he would jerk off to a picture of her. It was just that it was more of the thought of being with her that made him lose his mind and do it. And it still got to him apparently.

The thought of Marinette alone had him act like a teenager who couldn't control himself, but he couldn't tell her that.

-♡-

After the shower, Adrien just wrapped a towel around his hips, brushed his teeth, then walked straight out of the bathroom, through his room, right towards the kitchen.

He went straight to the coffee machine, trying to turn it on to get himself a morning coffee, when suddenly someone spoke up from behind him.

"It's broken, I tried using it. I bet someone broke it yesterday," the sweet voice from his dream streamed through his ears, yet he would turn around in shock. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you."

"It's alright, you didn't scare me," he smiled, walking up to Marinette, placing a soft, typical good morning kiss onto her lips before taking a seat next to her.

"We really have to tidy all this up today," she drew a circle into the hair, motioning all around the entire apartment, laughing at the mess.

"Or we could hire someone to do that and we go out for breakfast," Adrien suggested, but Marinette shook her head no.

"Model boy could have a party, he can tidy it up as well," she stood up from the barstool, placing a tender kiss onto his temple before he wobbled off to get dressed.

"Hey," Adrien stopped her, "you walk funny."

Marinette rolled her eyes, yet the smile on her lips never disappeared.

"No, seriously, are you still in pain?" He asked in a worried tone.

"It's manageable," Marinette giggled.

"No more kinky fuckery for you, Milady," Adrien turned his head away from Marinette, crossing his arms in front of his chest.

He was waiting for Marinette to disagree, saying anything against it but she never did. Next time he looked towards where she was standing before, she was gone. But then suddenly two arms were wrapping around his body from behind.

"I'll get my kinky fuckery, and if I have to tie you down for it," she whispered.

Adrien was so taken aback that he didn't even realise Marinette slowly sneaking her hands around his stomach, grabbing onto the towel around his waist.

"Good luck with that, Bugaboo," Adrien laughed, standing up from the barstool.

He was so confident with his words, yet it all vanished when he was suddenly standing in front of Marinette with nothing that was covering him because Marinette was holding his towel in her hands.

But then he didn't really care much about his exposed dick, she'd seen it before.

Just when Marinette thought she had crumbled his ego down, Adrien shrugged his shoulders, swinging his arms around Marinette to pick her up, sitting her down onto the kitchen island, pushing his crotch right between her legs.

His lips immediately found hers, locking them together as he kissed her eagerly, yet passionately. He slipped his tongue into her mouth, deepening the kiss as he initiated the French kiss.

Adrien had slipped his hands underneath his shirt Marinette was wearing, resting them on her lower back, playing with the hem of her thongs. To his luck, Marinette wasn't wearing any pants.

Marinette hand her hands resting on Adrien's jawline, stroking her thumbs over the stumbles of his two days old beard.

Panting from a loss of breath, they pulled apart.

"You need to shave," Marinette said, tracing her index finger along his spikes.

"And you need to get dressed, we're going out," Adrien said, placing a kiss onto Marinette's forehead.

"Adrien, we're not going out, we have to clean up. And I'd actually like to see my parents later that day, I should apologise to my mum," Marinette sounded hurt, probably because the fight with Sabine was getting to her.

"Just for breakfast, you can then go see your parents and I will have the apartment all cleaned when you get back," Adrien laid his hands down onto Marinette's thighs, lightly stroking up and down.

"Why can't you come with me?" Marinette furrowed her eyebrows.

"I don't think your parents want to see me," he looked down, not being able to look into Marinette's eyes.

"My parents love you, Adrien. I think my mum was just shocked. I mean, imagine seeing your own daughter being covered in hickeys," Marinette tried to make Adrien feel less anxious about her parents.

"Why would you want me to come anyway?" Adrien ignored what Marinette had said before, and maybe his question came across more rudely than genuinely interested.

"Well, I'm sorry you're my boyfriend and I thought we could visit them together. Glad to find out that's definitely were you want to go with our relationship," Marinette's eyes began to fill with tears.

Without any other explanation, Marinette would go straight into her room, and as Adrien was following her, she would just close the door behind her, locking it so he couldn't just enter. But she forgot one that one very thing that would grant him access anyway.

Adrien knocked on her door, but she wasn't answering.

"Mari, I didn't mean it like that, I swear," Adrien yelled through the door, praying she was listening. "I love you, of course I want to meet your family!"

"Go away, Adrien!" Marinette yelled, her voice sounding teary.

"I'm scared your mother will execute me," Adrien admitted, "maybe not literally, but I'm just afraid she would talk our relationship badly in front of me, you know?"

Adrien was genuinely just fearing to lose Marinette. She knew he was anxious when it came to this but it felt like he would not have any trust in Marinette whatsoever.

No matter how often she had told him her parents were glad to see Adrien, even when they were just friends, Adrien had always worried it not being true. He had always wanted to impress Marinette's parents, yet he felt as if he only fucked things up every single time.

"Seriously, Adrien?" Marinette screamed madly. "My mother would never do such thing! Yes, she might have a bit of a temper when it comes to me, but she's not someone who would talk my relationship bad when she doesn't have a reason to do so!"

"She has plenty," Adrien interrupted.

"Yeah, maybe she does, cause you've fucked up before, Adrien. But she's not the one to hold it against you," Marinette cried, yet she felt more angry than sad. "Maybe you're right though, maybe our relationship just could never work out the way we want it to."

Adrien's eyes widened in horror. His breathing became unsteady as he was counting with the worst, once again. He shook his head, trying to brush off the painful thoughts of losing Marinette, knocking, banging on the door to get inside, but it just wouldn't open.

So he had to find another was inside.

He ran right into his room, grabbing one of his Agreste boxer briefs and putting them on, followed by some shorts. As he didn't want to lose any more time he would ignore putting on a shirt.

"Plagg?" He said, getting his Kwamis attention.

"You guys need couple's therapy," Plagg was pretty relaxed, only caring about his cheese, "see, whenever I get mad at my cheese, I eat it."

"I can't eat Marinette, Plagg," Adrien rolled his eyes.

"You're right, but you can apologise and-"

"Plagg, Claws out."

Chat Noir jumped out of the window, ignoring the people that were standing outside. He extended his staff, sliding down on it.

He would then walk all the way over to Marinette's bedroom window. As he was standing right underneath it he extended his staff again, this time shooting himself up along with it until he was on the height of her window.

Unfortunately she had her window closed, so he knocked on it, but of course he wouldn't get a reaction form Marinette. Well, that was until he had realised that the room was empty.

He looked into that empty room, focusing onto the closed door to see if it was still locked or not, but of course it was almost to impossible to figure that out.

To his luck though, the window wasn't locked, so he could push it open just enough to slip his hand through. Her would then turn the window handle on the other side of the window, opening it completely so he could get inside.

As soon as he was inside the room he could hear water running, indicating that Marinette was taking a shower. He was debating whether or not he should enter the bathroom to speak to her, but then he figured it would be kind of rude if he did, so he was ready to wait in Marinette's room.

He de-transformed, only to be greeted by a black flying cat Kwami who was more than fed up with Adrien's shit.

"Seriously? You needed to transform to get in here?" Plagg groaned, but to Adrien's luck Tikki came for his rescue.

"Plagg, how many times do I have to tell you that human are blind and stupid?" It wasn't the kind of help Adrien was hoping on, but it was some help.

"Especially mister Model body, he's just beyond stupid, blind AND DEAF," Plagg followed Tikki out of the room.

"You know, when you're already breaking into my room, you might as well come in here!" Adrien could hear Marinette's damped voice coming from the bathroom.

Adrien slowly and carefully opened the bathroom door, allowing himself to enter, yet before he could speak Marinette would take over.

"You don't get to talk about my mother that way, Adrien," Marinette was still very mad.

"I'm sorry, Marinette, I really am," his back was leaning against the closed bathroom door, his eyes taking in the view of Marinette.

"I wanted you to come because Luka will be there. He has to pick up a delivery for Jagged Stone, and my father asked me to hand it out because my mum isn't feeling too well and he would rather stay with her. I don't want to face Luka on my own," Marinette explained.

"Why didn't you just say that right away?" Adrien asked, but then he didn't even want to know. "Do you really think we shouldn't be together, Mari?"

Her words from before crossed his mind. Fear was streaming through his veins, tensing up his muscles as he couldn't stand still any longer.

"We can't even spend a day without fighting, Adrien. What do you think?" Once again tears started to build up, but this time for both parties.

Adrien knew she was right in some ways. Just because two people loved each other doesn't mean they're meant to be together, but he couldn't just let go of Marinette. He loved her, and he knew she was the only one he ever wanted to be with. So yeah, maybe he was being selfish.

-♡-

Another month passed, it was now the end of October. Marinette and Adrien were still together, yet they never stopped fighting over the most silly things.

They would fight about what to eat, where the other person went to, working hours, how much or less alcohol the other added to their drink, literally anything. It was tiring, for both parts, which is why each of them was happy to have their own rooms.

At the end of every day, Adrien would walk straight up into his bedroom, slamming the door shut behind him, immediately going to bed. Marinette would do the exact same. Yet, every single time they would sent a good night text, followed by an 'I love you'.

The only question left to ask was, did they, though? Did they actually still love each other, or were they just together cause they didn't want to break the other's heart?
