Santana Or The Silence

(Brittany's Pov)

I frown until I remember that emily is Santana's sister and push her off of me.

"Are you going to say something" she says and I nod no.

"So it is true, My sister is in love with a mute" she says and I frown at how she says it.

"Which there's nothing wrong of being. I believe that love is love and you should be happy with who your with and except then always for who they are. Besides you are cute" she says looking me up and down and I instantly start blushing.

"Come on back now, she's not the only one who needs you" she says and grabs my hand. She gently pulls me back into the room and I see everyone look a little happier. Emily greets and say hello to everyone and everyone's happy to see her except Kurt.

"What are you doing here" Quinn asks smiling and I see emily bite her lip before answering and I smirk.

"I live in Las Vegas now, when I got the call, I came as soon as possible" Emily says.

"Well, we were about to get Sam to go get us something to eat, want something" She says and nods sheepishly towards Quinn and Puck is so clueless.

(6 hours later)

"Sorry to break the new folks but visiting hours are over. You guys can all come back in the morning" he says but I don't want to leave San alone.

"Doctor, can Santana's girlfriend stay, I mean she's been through so much that, she at least deserves spending time with her alone" Emily says and I smile at that.

"Okay, everyone leave except you" he says pointing to Emily. I start to walk out when I feel someone grab my arm.

"Where you going" she says and I frown i confusion.

"Your the one whose playing house with Santana baby girl. just hold her hand to let her know your there. i told her that you be the only one staying and that I love her " Emily says while having watery eyes and leaves.

I turn around to see Santana hooked up to all of these machines but sigh because I don't know what I'm suppose to do. I don't want her to die but I'm scared of what will happen when she wakes up. I think I'm to blame for the fight because if it wasn't for me, it would have never happen. I go over to her bed and lay in it with her. I carefully Lay in her chest and turn on the tv. I hold her hand and I hear her heart struggling to beat and it break my heart. I try to not think about it anymore but I just couldn't anymore and broke down and cried. I grab Santana's hand and buried my head into her neck and fell asleep crying.

(Next day)

"Brittany, wake up" I hear someone say, but just bury myself closer to Santana instead of listen.

"Brittany the doctors have to do some blood work and check on her vitals" I hear and sigh. I get up and walk out for a little to stretch my legs. 30 minutes later I walk back in and get back into the bed.

"Brittany have you eaten anything" Shane says and I nod yes while keeping my head in Santana's neck.

"Your not lying are you" he says and I sigh.

"Brittany, you got to eat" he says and I text him and get a glare.

"What did she says" Sam asks.

"She says she's not eating until Santana eats" he says and sighs before leaving.

"Brittany you got to eat, Santana's on a machine that feeds her with the vitamins she need but you need to eat something or you won't feel good either. And you don't want Santana's to worry about you as soon as she wakes up do you" Mike says while Tina gives me a sympathetic look. I nod no while shane walks in with food.

"Eat" he says and I eat it and see him smile.

"That was easier than I though" he sings and everyone's laugh.

(After a couple of days)

"I'm starving and Im tired of scarfing down hospital food. I love coming here every early and leaving late at night but Lets go to a restaurant please, I don't care if it's not even vegan" Rachel says and everyone laughs.

"Ummm..... I guess that's a good idea, Britt are you coming" Quinn asks and I text her. I watch as she frowns and I smile at her expression.

"I guess your right" she says and smile. She walks over to me and gives me a kiss o the head and Santana's and smile down at us as I grab my soda.

"As everyone as a witness,I give you two permission to date but no fucking" she says and I choke on my soda while everyone laughs.

"Britt your staying here aren't you" shane says sadly and I sadly smile back.

"Yeah she is and its time for us to have some fun. Were not coming back here until she wakes up because we're in Vegas and suppose to be having fun. Britt says she's not caving and we can't make her so I left it alone but she's kicking everyone else out. Now, I know we all are sad about Santana's but moping around here isn't going to help so we just got to be patient and wait" Quinn says and everyone agrees eventually and they all leave. And then their were two.

(Next morning)

We got in here on Saturday night and it's Thursday morning. The Doctor says we got until Saturday night to get Santana to wake up or she's going to have be involuntarily put in an induced coma.

"Good morning Ms. Pierce. The records had came back that the swelling on Santana head was going down tremendously but out of no where stopped. If it keeps up like this, we will have to do plan B" he says and walk out and I start crying.

"Didn't anyone ever tell you, big girls don't cry" she says and I laugh.

"I know I'm suppose to be away having fun but I needed to talk to you privately" she says.

"Look, I know you love my sister and all but you need to work on yourself also Britt. I heard you the other night crying, I was going to come back to get something and I seen you. None of this is your fault Britt" she says and I nod my head yeah it is.

"No it's not, Santana always goes to violence as the answer and she was the one who rallied up Dani and Hanna, this is no ones fault but herself. I just thought you should know" she says and turns to leave but before she does, she says one more thing.

"By the way, you may have a broken voice but  now is the time to choose which one is more important. Santana or the silence"
