Day 11- Sunset over shock (Part 2)

We were sitting on the fence across the beach, with our legs dangling.

"Isn't it beautiful?" Gray asked."What? The beach or the stars?" I asked."Both." "Can't say it isn't." "Hm.""Is this what you wanted to show me?" "Yea.""Why?""Because it's beautiful. Like you."

I rolled my eyes.

"If you think flattering me will make me fall in love with you, you're mistaken." "I never thought that." He shrugged.

"You have abundant of confidence don't you?" I sighed."True that, plus I'm pretty fired up to make you mine."

"What's with you and making me yours, please don't tell me you were stalking me as well." I looked at the dark waves and the thousands of twinkling stars shining above it.

Honestly, it was amazing. Breath-taking actually and I didn't tell him but this was my first time coming to the beach at night.

"Uh..." He chuckled nervously and I looked at him. "So you were?"

"Not really. Sometimes it was just coincidence and sometimes just out of curiosity." He cutely stuck out his tongue while rubbing his neck."Unbelievable." I commented.

"I apologize. I promise I won't do it again." "I don't think I have the guts to trust you."

"Come on, don't say that. Aren't you a stalker as well? and see, we have one thing in common!" I tried to talk back, but ceased. What he said was pretty much true. I stalked Jellal and in return I got stalked.

"Anyways, talks aside." He said, and stopped dangling his legs. I did too. "Close your eyes." "No, I won't." I bluntly replied.

"But why?"

"Why should I? Are you going to kiss me or something? Nuh-uh." "I assure you that I won't kiss you without your permission." "Still don't trust you."

"Will it hurt you to trust me once?""I don't even know you."

"Can we please not argue on that. When you were born even your mom was a stranger to you.""I don't see how that is an example.."

"Well, for once, just close your eyes. I promise, no kissing."

I thought. Thought hard weather I should really close my eyes or not, but in the end, upon seeing his "Please close your eyes once" face, I had to.Man, what I have gotten myself into...

"Alright." I closed my eyes. "But stay far away from me.""Yes ma'am." He said but slowly grabbed my hand. "I said stay far away from me."

"I am far, I'm just taking your hand." He whined."So my hand isn't part of my body?""What?"

"Ugh never mind, why do you want my hand?"He didn't talk.

His hands were rough, but he has a gentle touch. I felt him grab my fingertips.

And then I felt him sliding something in it.

I shot open my eyes, and the first thing I saw was that there was a ring on my finger. A platinum one, with a tiny diamond on top.

"What is this?" I softly asked. Words became vague in front of the shock I had received. I was surprised that my reaction wasn't that hype.

It was strangely calm, but my heart, it was feeling all things. Rage, confusion, irritation, happiness? No...

This is not what making me fall in love with him in a day means. "To tell you the truth Erza, you and I are engaged now."

What?

"What?""Look behind you." He said and I looked behind. "Aw Erza honey!" My mom abruptly hugged me.

Was she behind me the whole time? I don't know, but if she was I would have felt her.Was she hiding somewhere? Most likely.

"Mom..?" I called out confusedly and pulled back from the hug."Mrs. Scarlet, I should be glad that I didn't get slapped." Gray laughed."Wait..what is happening?" I asked and jumped down from the fence."Erza, my love, you are engaged to Gray." She smiled and tried to caress my hair but I stopped her.

"You said that before, but I need to know the whole story here, not the gist." I was getting angry, but I contained it since I don't want to raise my voice on her."Gray, do you want to tell her?" She looked at him and asked.

"You guys know each other?" I asked confusedly but they ignored me.

"No Mrs.Scarlet, she will only listen calmly if you tell her yourself." He smiled and jumped down from the fence as well, "I will leave you both to your privacy so...holler me once she knows everything." He said and left.

"Mom." I called her out."Come on. Lets' go a cafe and talk, I'm a little thirsty." I sighed deeply, "You better tell me everything." "I promise."
