The lady and her games

A week had passed since the incident with the mistress. You didn't mention the name Lydia again. The daughters were scolded and punished. Though you had no idea how severe. Everything seemed to feel normal. Well okay at least, the lady had gone back to her normal self as did the girls. Yet today that would change.

The lady had gone to a family meeting earlier in the day, but when she returned she was not alone. Instead she had a new maiden wrapped around her hand. You watched from the stairs as the lady entered the door and she didn't seem to notice you. She continued to walk into the kitchen. Still gripping the girls hand.

It made you a little jealous to see Alcina hold another girls hand but you attempted to brush your feelings aside. You got mad at yourself for thinking such things. You went back into the lady's room and awaited her return. Yet she didn't. You got bored of waiting and walked down to the kitchen. Opening the dining room doors. Inside you were shocked.

The new maiden was sitting at the dining room table on the other side of Alcina. Her face was a bright red. You huffed and sighed and sat in your seat next to the lady. You placed a hand on her thigh and she immediently jumped and looked at you. " Oh- Y/n! " she said looking at you with a surprised smile.

You looked over at the maiden who seemed to look annoyed. You attempted to ignore it. The lady smiled. " y/n this is Alice. The new maid that mother Miranda wanted to move here. " she said placing a hand on her shoulder. " whys she eating with us? " you asked trying to retain a sweet and calm voice.

" well she's my new hand maiden. And I thought she could eat with us. " she said giggling a little. You nodded your head. The girls entered the room and sat in front of you immediently eyeing the new candy. " who's this mother? " the girls asked enthusiastic. Bella gave her a flirtatious smile. " this is my new personal maid. She's come here from Mother Miranda estate, she believes she will make a great addition to the castle. " Alcina said sweetly back to them.

After dinner you left the dining room but not in Alcina's hand. She was too busy showing the new maid around the castle. You huffed. " Aww poor pet is jealous. " Bela said walking up behind you. You rolled your eyes. " haven't you learned your lesson? " you said with a smirk. She rolled her eyes.

You continued up to the ladies chambers and found that she was in there on the bed next to the new hand maiden. They were both giggling. The new maidens face was a deep red, she was blushing intesley. You watched from the door frame arms crossed waiting for her to notice your presence but before she could the maiden looked at you and giggled.

" Hello Y/N~" she said with a smirk. You rolled your eyes. " I'll leave you two. " the maiden said walking towards you at the door but you followed her out and closed it behind you. She looked at you with a grin. " listen here" she said her tone changing completely. " I don't care what you are to her. But the lady will he mine. Mother Miranda belived I would have a good life here. And I will make that happen y/n" she said walking away. But you didn't let her go far.

You walked up behind her and grabbed her hair. " listen here bitch. " you said turning her around and pinning her against the wall. Her face became red immediently. She didn't expect for you to be dominant. " she's mine. And I'm hers. There's no room here for you. You can go back to mother Miranda if you wish to be more to her than a meer maid. " you said getting closer to her ear almost a whisper. " understand? " the girl shook between your arms.

" y-yes ma'am " she said sinking down to the floor. You heard the lady open the door and moved away from the girl allowing her to fall to the ground. " are you alright Alice? " you said with a glare. The girl shook her head yes and grabbed your hand and you helped her up. " sleep well. " you said. And she left through the hallway door. You smirked and then turned to meet Alcina 's eyes.

She grinned at you. " what was that about? " she said crossing her arms. You walked up to her and wrapped your arms around her thigh. " nothing my love, just getting to know the new maid is all. " you said softly. She grinned and opened the bedroom door. " I suppose we should go to bed then. " she said walking into the room.

You shook your head. " don't you think we should take a bath first. " you said with a smirk but the lady didn't even bat an eye towards you. " you can take one alone, I have matters to attend." She said seating herself at her vanity chair. You nodded and undressed yourself in the bathroom and took a bath alone. You sunk your head under the water. 'I could just drown right here. ' you said to yourself.

It felt so lonely in this large tub without Alcina there to hold yout. Your impulsive thoughts seemed to drown you. It was almost like a pool without her here to fill it. After you were done bathing you got out of the tub and found Alcina slumped over asleep at her vanity. Her journal still open and a quil in her hand. You walked over to her curiosity taking the most of you. You peered over the ladies shoulder and read what she had been writing.

It read - " mother wants me to mess with my dear y/n. I don't want to. But if I don't mother won't make her immortal like me. So I must listen to my mothers orders. I cried thinking about hurting her. I didn't want her to think I no longer cared. She on purpose choose a girl who looked similar to y/n hoping it would be more fun.. I have felt awful for doing this. I know my mother is hard to love and sometimes does things wrong but I'm still grateful that she will do this for me. So I will fulfill mothers wishes and do as she pleases. Even if that means toying with y/n a little bit. "

You looked at the journal in shock. The lady was going to toy with you so you could become immortal. Your heart sunk. You. Knew there was a better reason behind it all. But it still hurt. You decided you would play Alcina's games. You would make the lady feel guilty for ever trying to toy with you. You smirked as you left the lady's shoulder and placed a blanket over her back. You didn't sleep in the ladies room. You wanted her to panic when she would wake up and find that you weren't there with her.

You giggled amongst yourself and fell asleep by the roaring fire in the living room downstairs.

When you awoke you could hear the clacking of the ladies footsteps. 'She's searching for me' you thought. You stayed by the now out fireplace shivering. Waitng on her to find you. You heard the steps stop. She was behind you. " why would you sleep down here? " she mumbled to herself as she picked you up. It still wasn't day quite yet. So she took you back to her room and laid you down in her bed. Kissing your cheek before almost walking out the door.

" my apologies my love. Just know your my one and only. " she whispered into the stale quiet air. You heard the door shut behind her and you felt your eyes shoot open. You stayed laying in the bed alone. Though you knew her reasons behind this it still sucked being alone. You still wanted the lady to hold you.

You waited a couple of hours before leaving the bed. You stayed awake through all of it. Fortunately the nightmares seemed to stop after the second one. You hadn't had a single one since. But every once in a while you would still have flashbacks back to them. The ladies cold dark stare when she acknowledged you in that second dream still sent shivers down your spine.

You got up and got dressed and walked down the stairs. Listening to see if you could hear where the lady was at. You heard the sound of the piano keys. Inside was the lady alone. You thought you would find her with the maiden beside her yet she was alone and her tears seemed to fall down her cheeks. You noticed that the lady was playing a song you never heard before.

You squinted to see the sheet music and looked at the artist of the song. "Miss D and the Pallboys. " it made you giggle. It was obviously the ladies song. You never knew she was a jazz singer. You inspected the cover further and there was a much younger and shorter lady Dimitrescu. She was beautiful when she was young. Yet you personally preferred the way she looked now. Suddenly she started to sing.

Her lyrics sounded like poems and she played the piano to the beat. You placed your hands over your heart and just took in the beautiful moment. You didn't dare to interupt her. When she finished the song she smirked. The tears still falling down her cheeks. You wonderd who or what had made her cry. You only just noticed she was still in her nightgown. As you studied her with concerned eyes you accidentally moved one of the vases. Making it crash to the floor.

The lady turned to meet your eyes. They widened slowly. " what are you doing here? " she said almost as a hiss. You looked away from her. Hearing her stand up and walk towards you. " I expect an answer y/n" she said forcing her finger under your chin. Drawing your eyes up to meet hers. She looked angry. It confused you.

" I heard the sound of the piano play. " you said as she let go of your chin. " what do you want? " she said. Her voice was cold. " nothing. " you said annoyed. Her tone of voice was starting to nag at you. You knew she was supposed to toy with you but now she was just being plain rude. " that's your song. " you said finally. You heard her take in a deep breath and exhale. " yes. " she said finally looking into your eyes.

She seemed sad. Yet you didnt quite know why. " I knew you could sing, but I didn't know you had a whole band. " you said referring to the sheet music on the piano. Her face turned red and she rushed to the piano grabbing the sheet music and crumbling it. She threw it away in a trash can. And fled through the doors. " why had she been so cold? " you said aloud. Your heart starting to beat rather quickly. You walked over to tbe trash can and grabbed the crumbled sheet music. You started to hum the notes to yourself.

You grabbed it and hid it in your pocket. You heard the lady near the maidens chambers and you fled the room. When you reached the door and peered out. You looked down the hall and saw as the new maiden walked out the room. She seemed to look around to make sure nobody was watching and she then leaned in and hugged the lady. The lady returned the hug. You knew that she knew you were watching so you didn't allow for it to get to you.

She grabbed the girls hand and began to walk down the hall. You cursed under your breath annoyed. You knew there was a greater reason, but at the same time you felt that was just out of pettiness. You kept trying to make yourself push your feelings aside because "there's a greater reason" yet your feelings were still valid.

You followed the lady down the hall until she neered a corner. You awaited and then you heard her begin to whisper. " M-m'lady that girl of yours has threatened me! I don't know if I can do this. " she said her knees buckiling under her. Covering her face. The lady sighed. " I will make sure she does nothing. But we need to keep this act up to appease mother Miranda. You just need to keep pissing her off and I'll keep making her feel jealous. Once that's done we will let you return to your family." The girl began to cry.

You felt awful for her knowing she was separated from her family just so they could fuck with you. 'What the hell Alcina? ' you thought. The lady bent down and hugged the small girl. " my apologies dear. I promise that you will return home. " the girl nodded and looked up at the lady her face still blushed red. The lady scrunched her nose at the sight of it. " my dear I know you have a part to play. But do not look at me in such a manor. For this is only an act and I have no interest in you at all. " the girls expression changed and she looked as though she was empty.

You smirked a little. You felt bad for doing so. But at the same time you didn't. It felt good to know Alcina wouldn't allow the girl to look at her in such a way. " dear. " she said quietly. The girl looked up. " we need to get back to my bedroom chambers. Hopefully she will walk in on us laughing or whatever it may be. My mother's a sadist. I know as such. And so we must continue this game until she sees fit that we are done. " the lady said beginning to walk towards you. You began to run down the hall and slipped into a random door.

Inside you found yourself not alone. Behind you felt something grab your shoulder. Then you turned to meet their eyes .
