   I woke up feeling genuinely happy for the first time. In my whole life? What was that feeling? I immediately called Irene, and her extreme excitement brought her to my house. So, you tell me Jaehyun is interested in you? She said, happily lying on my bed while I was staring at the blank space. He could? I said  lost in my thoughts. You know, I've heard from Mark he's kind of the all girls want him guy but he's not a whore or anything. He's really sweet on the contrary. I smiled, hearing that. He was really cute. Though I can't clearly remember his face. Irene laughed and lifted her body so she could face me. Why am so excited? I asked her. You clearly got a crush on Jung Jaehyun. Irene said and I blushed. But, I don't even know him. I added. Does it matter? Don't you believe at love at first sight? Irene started daydreaming of me and Jaehyun. Only in fairytales I guess. Omg, someone's head over heels. Yuta exclaimed. Look at you. Irene said while taking a picture of me. You're so red. She laughed off and I couldn't help but not hide it. What do I do? I asked. You wait. Mark said in his narrator's voice. Jung Jaehyun will text you in any minute. I widened my eyes and checked my phone for any notifications. Shit, it's on silent mode. Guys, I'm going home. I need to get ready. He hadn't even asked you out yet. Yuta said. What if he does, like, right now? I said, panicked from head to toe. Y/N, calm down and get your homework done. Mark said and brought me to senses.

   The study session ended, but I had no message from Jaehyun. Oh no, he's not interested anymore. I thought to myself while staring intensively at my phone. It was quite late and I wouldn't wait for him forever. I put on my pyjamas and brushed my teeth. That was when my phone vibrated. I slowly approached the small enlightened screen on my bed. I will never be able to describe that feeling you get when you see the name of the person, that has taken over your heart on your screen. My heart started beating fast and I couldn't get a hold of my body so I started jumping around. After seconds, I took some deep breaths and relaxed my body on the bed to get cozy for some intimate conversation.

Jaehyun: Hope, I didn't wake you up.

(damn it's only 10 o'clock. Am I such a nerd to him?)

That night. I didn't sleep at all.

  The next day, Monday I cried in the mirror for how awfully tired I looked. I knew, I was going to regret listening to love ballads in the middle of the night, but I couldn't get a hold of myself. How was I even going to spend five whole days , until our date? I met my eyes in the mirror and decided that I was going to treat my body well. I headed to the bathroom to get ready for school.

  Days went by so freaking slow, but finally Friday had come. I decided to have a relaxing bath, so my nerves would be comfortable around his presence. Actually, around the presence of the first male with whom I would go out. I let the hot water flow, and threw in a cherry bath bomb to enhance my body essence. I took off my pyjamas and underwear and got in. I put on some arctic monkeys aesthetic music and closed my eyes.

  Y/N! Are you in there? I heard my mother's voice as I opened my eyes. Shit, what time is it? I couldn't have slept for so long. My mother was impatiently knocking on the locked door. I'm fine mom! I was just having a bath. You've been in there for more than 2 hours. Thank God, I had 2 hours yet. I took my time and proceeded with my face mask. I lied on my bed, feeling a little more energised. While thinking of what to wear, some irregular thoughts entered my mind. What if he'd kiss me? He's going to get so turned off if he finds out I've never been kissed before. What if he makes a fast forward move? What should I do? After some seconds of self denial, I regained my confidence, which clearly I had none and started dressing up. I chose a casual outfit. I truly never understood why some girls choose perfecting the image over comfortability. I was never going to get a gasp of it.

  It was almost seven o'clock. My first date ever was about to happen. I put on some perfume and headed downstairs. Where are you going young lady? My dad said playfully. Um, well... I kind of have a date. Both of my parents widened their eyes in hearing that. My mother smiled and I immediately regretted telling them. They were going to make me spill everything out. I was embarrassed. Have fun! My mother said happily and got back to her chords. My father didn't say anything, which surprised me. My phone vibrated.

  I quickly headed out and saw Jaehyun smiling at me, in his elegant BMW. I slowly approached the car, waving at him. Hey. He said getting out and as a gentleman he was, he opened the door for me. Thank you. I blushed and got in. I felt nothing else than uncomfortable, but it was a first for me.
