Chapter 2

Kensei had left shortly after. You made it back to your apartment. You sort of felt like crying. If Kensei didn't visit you on the regular, you'd be completely bored. You had a feeling he always took some of the lowly hollow missions in the World of the Living just to see you. But now he wouldn't be able to. You dropped your bag, heading to the shower. You wanted to drown all your worries out.

~The Next Day~

This time you didn't even try reaching on time. You didn't really care right now. The day dragged on slowly, as well as your growing boredom. Today you were responsible for cleaning the board. You took the eraser slowly wiping the words off. Your gaze moved to the passing clouds.

"I need to stop zoning out so much." you packed up preparing to leave.

You trailed around the room finishing up exiting your class when you saw a familiar black and white robe. Your eyes widened.

"I could see why you are always so bored. This place looks awful." you freaked.

"K-Kensei!! What the hell are you doing here!! Walking around with that!" you said pointing at his zampaktou. He shrugged. "I was in the area." he said uninterested. You panicked when you heard people coming down the hallway.

"Shit!" you grabbed him, rushing into the room. He stumbled, with a yell as you tugged him roughly to hide.

"Did you hear that?" a voice said.

"Hear what?" another said. The two girls looked around. "I could have sworn I heard a guy yell or something."

"Maybe you're just missing your boyfriend." the other girl teased. Both girls giggled as they left shutting the door behind them.

You released a heavy sigh. You had found a hiding spot, unfortunately it was in a small closet they used to store some of the class supplies. You pushed Kensei in and yourself. You were both, pressed tightly together in the small space. You looked up at Kensei with a glare.

"What the hell is wrong with you! What if you'd been seen!!?!"

He glared at you. "You idiot! They can't even see me!!" he reasoned. You shook your head.

"Didn't you hear what she said, she thought she heard a male voice. " recognition crossed his face.

"There are a few of them in school, they aren't like Orihime and the others, but they can sense hollows, just like me. You have to be careful. If there was the slightest chance she saw you that could have been bad. You already look like a serial killer with that face of yours, imagine trying to explain to her that sword. "

Kensei's eyebrows twitched at your comment. "You better watch your mouth." you chuckled.

"I'm kidding, you're way too hot to look like a killer." you continued to laugh. Kensei's eyes opened slightly at your words.

"You think I'm hot." you blinked looking at him.

"W-What?" you said dumfounded. His hand moved, sliding down and pressing on the door right next to your head. You blushed at his stare. "You just said I was hot. " he repeated.

"I..I" you weren't sure what to say. You hadn't meant to let that slip out. Now you noticed just how close the both of you were. He looked at you in wonder. His face still had that serious expression, but his eyes..they looked soft and they held something you couldn't describe.

"I-I like you Kensei!" you confessed. When you finally said it you pushed backwards against the closet. You stumbled out. When you gathered yourself you took off in a sprint. Kensei stumbled out too. It took him awhile to process what happened. He stood there stunned. When he finally collected himself he ran after you. 

"H-Hey! come back you little punk!" You were running at full speed through the school halls.
