Chapter 8

Ally or Allied.

It means to give support or to form a good relationship with someone.

Do we support each other? Maybe.

Do we have a good relationship? Well.

Bakugo Katsuki is a person you can't really call a friend. He's a good, nope, a great hero who uses his wits and skills in every occasion. He works hard and he excels in it. If anything at all he is what you preferably to be your ally.

But I guess not mine.

About an hour ago.

"Ok so let me announce who will be the 2 groups for the upcoming training camp." Aizawa sensei declares.

"LET'S ALL DO OUR BEST EVERYONE!" Iida shouted standing up from his chair.

"Yeah, yeah." Aizawa said groggily patting Iida down to his chair.

"Let's do our best Iida-kun." I whispered to Iida-kun.

"Yeah!" He whispered back.

"Alright, Group 1 will be Yuga Aoyama, Mina Ashido, Tenya Iida, Ochaco Uraraka, Eijiro Kirishima, Rikido Sato, Kyoka Jiro, Shoto Todoroki, Izuku Midoriya, and Momo Yaoyorozu. While Group 2 will be Tsuyu Asui, Mashiro Ojiro, Denki Kaminari, Koji Koda, Mezo Shoji, Hanta Sero, Fumikage Tokoyami, Toru Hagakure, Katsuki Bakugo, Minoru Mineta. That is all." He ended.

"I guess we're together Iida-kun"

"Yeah! And it seems like Midoriya-kun is also with us." Smirking at me.

I can't help but blush a little. Working with Deku-kun is a big opportunity for me to learn with him and show how much I have improved. I can't help but be excited about that.

"Yeah it seems like he is." I grinned back to Iida-kun.

"Uraraka-chan!!! Let's do our best together!" Deku-kun waving at me from his seat.

"Yeah!!" I cheered back at him.

"Shut up lovebirds." Bakugo-kun suddenly states, leaving me and Deku-kun blushing.

Glancing at Bakugo-kun seeing his eye roll in this situation. He slumps his back in his chair looking like he doesn't care less in the training camp. Thinking about it, almost all my and Deku-kun's closest friends are with us. Isn't he?

"Iida-kun, who is in Group 2 again?" knowing Iida-kun, he would have written all the groups for us to be reminded in case.

"Ah! It's Asui-san, Ojiro-san, Kaminari-kun, Koda-kun, Shoji-kun, Sero-kun, Tokoyami-kun, Hagakure-san, Bakugo-kun, and Mineta-kun."

"He's not even with Kirishima-kun." I whispered.

"Did you say something Uraraka-chan?"

"Ah! No not really Iida-kun." Assuring him with a smile.

"Hmmm" he nods.

I rested my face with both of my hands on top of the table. It's not like I should pity him or feel bad about it because he can adopt to any situation he's in. Except he has that ridiculous temper that makes people not like him very much. No doubt we still respect him, but I think it's just better if he has someone who he can fully trust with in this activity, except that person is on our group.

I slowly moved my head to have a peak on him, maybe to give him a little smile to cheer him up. Like that will work. I mean I don't think I'm someone who can cheer him up. But there's nothing wrong with trying right?

Taking a peak, only finding that he wasn't on his seat. I started looking around the room to check where he's at. When suddenly a hand swiftly pokes my forehead leaving a note in my table. I slowly opened the note and it says:

Concentrate you idiot.

There's a quiz coming up. ~\ (-_-)/~

Is that an emoticon? I can't help but let out a giggle.

I look back at him making his way to his seat. His eyes were a little cold but it slowly started to ease up when I waved the note to him showing that I received it and smiled a little. He was about to mouth some words to me when Tsuyu-chan blocked my view of him. I immediately moved my head to see him again but only caught him looking at the window on his left. I guess I already missed it.

"Is there something wrong Ochaco-chan?" Tsuyu-chan asked.

I quickly composed myself back to my seat and grinned at Tsuyu-chan.

"Neh, I was just a little nervous for the quiz in Physics." Scratching the back of my ear.

"Were you able to study for it Ochaco-chan?"

"Yeah" feeling the note in my finger rubbing it back and forth.

"Yeah I did."

Aizawa sensei started passing out the quiz to us. I reached out mine and passed it to Sato-san behind me. I took a deep breath readying myself on what this quiz has in store for me. This is the first quiz that can determine if I can actually make it. I just know I can't fail this one. And I actually trusted Bakugo-kun on this.

I wonder what he was going to say back then.

I shook my head to snap out of it. Let's just concentrate Uraraka. Nothing will happen in thinking about other things. Physics. It's time to defeat you quiz Physics!! Let's do this!

I flipped the paper and wrote my name on top. I scanned the quiz first without answering them and all I can see are familiar words that I just remember Bakugo-kun screams at me or points at it or just dictates it with some random example he gives me. I can't help but smile in this situation. For the first time I actually understand a thing or two in this quiz and it gives me relief.

"Ochaco-chi!! Let's go to lunch!" Mina-chi called.

"Finally!"

"How was the quiz Ochaco-chan?" Tsuyu-chan suddenly asks.

"I think I did a pretty good job." Grinning back to Tsuyu-chan.

"Good." He stated walking past while his eyes were looking at mine.

"Oi Bakugo! How did you do in the quiz?" Kirishima-kun suddenly pops out and bumps into Bakugo-kun.

"PERFECT OF COURSE!" Bakugo-kun declares.

"As expected of you!"

They're conversation continued one sided as they made their way to the cafeteria.

"It seems like he was talking to you Ochaco-chan."

"Wha-! No, I don't think so." Waving both my hands in front of her.

"But I swear he was looking at you." Tsuyu-chan scratches her cheek.

"He might be looking at Kirishima-kun. I mean we were from the same location. Hehehehe."

"Okay, if you say so."

"Yeah! I mean yeah." Letting an awkward laugh come out of me.

"C'mon let's line up already! I'm starving!" Mina-chi states.

I got a tray from the stack in the starting line and placed it on top of the metal railing in front of the food station.

"Hamburger rice please."

"So what I can't talk to you publicly?"

I was startled with the sudden appearance of the boy next to me. He was also holding a tray to pick up some food. He wasn't looking at me though. He was looking straight ahead to the man who was chopping vegetables in the kitchen. I moved back my head to stare ahead as well looking like we weren't talking from the outside.

"What do you mean?"

"Well you just denied it earlier."

"Denied wha-"I suddenly remembered my conversation with Tsuyu-chan earlier.

"NO! I-"

"Yeah?"

"I didn't mean to, sorry."

"What are you sorry about?"

"Well, it looked like I was avoiding you."

"Aren't you?"

"OF COURSE NOT!" saying it louder than it was meant to be, I immediately covered my mouth with both of my hands tumbling my tray from the railing. Bakugo-kun immediately grabbed the tray putting it back to its balance.

"Oi! Be careful!"

"Soooorrrrryyyyyy." I whispered.

"Tsk"

"You're such a pain"

I pursed my lips not knowing what I should say to him.

"Remember."

"Hmmm?"

"That was what I was going to say earlier."

He turned his back on me before I could say anything.
