*-*Meliah's POV*-*

I ended up going to the party, because I had to give someone a piece of my mind, I was almost road kill once again, because of Billy Hargrove, and I was going to make sure to give him a piece of my mind, when I lay my eyes on him.

I got there when it was already dark, most of the people already having alcohol in their systems, and the music was pretty loud, I found Steve and Nancy standing one side, looking around, so I'm decided to approach them.

"Liah! You made it!" Steve yelled happily, and he did seem surprised to see me there, which I myself is suprise by myself being here.

There was a crowd by the door, counting something loudly. " ...thirty-eight, thirty-nine, forty, forty-one, forty-two!" The crowd started cheering loudly in excitement, I was still unclear why they were so happy, until I heard the shouts.

"Yeah!"

"Forty-two!"

"We got ourselves a new Keg King!"

"Billy! Billy! Billy!" The crowd chanted, telling me exactly where the person is, I'd like to beat to the ground.

"That's how you do it, Hawkins!" Billy yells loudly over the music.

"Billy! Billy! Billy!" Everyone kept on chanting, surprisingly Billy and Tommy H came walking towards steve, right where I was standing, and in all honesty i couldn't help, but stare.

Those jeans were hugging his ass just perfectly, and he only had a leather jacket on, no shirt, his chest sweety and on full display, but i had to show it had to effect on me.

"We got ourselves a new Keg King, Harrington." Tommy H states cockily, Billy was looking straight at Steve.

"Yeah, that's right!"

"Yeah. Eat it, Harrington."

Around here, being Keg king was important, especially to the popular crowd, but I could careless, what i cared about is how everyone was ganging up here around my best friend.

"Okay, take a step back Tommy." I said, making my presence known, Billy's head snapped in my direction, he stared at me, that smirk on his face.

"Merliah, what a suprise to see you here." Tommy says, but I only ignore him, my eyes glaring at Billy, who didn't look guilty, but he did seem well aware of why i was glaring him into the ground.

I turned around to get a drink, needing fuel to confront that cocky bastard.

Two hours later and I was completely tipsy, not as wasted as Nancy, because I was still able to think straight, and I had to admit i was enjoying myself, taking a break from dancing i looked for a corner to hide from the crowd, just to take a break from the drunk crowd.

"Why are you hiding princess?" A familiar voice entered my ears, I couldn't help but sigh out. "I'm not hiding, I'm taking a breather, and weren't you just coming from Tina's room." I say, noticing his hair was extremely messy.

"What, you jealous it wasn't you?" He asked with his cocky smirk, i don't know why, but I could only start laughing at that.

"Oh, Billy, Billy, Billy. I'm not planning to get with you or any other male in this godforsaken town, I'm gonna graduate high school, and get out of here, i don't belong here anyway." I said, I wasn't even sure why I told him that.

"Godforsaken town?" Billy asks in a softer tone.

"Yes, why should I stay in a town, that caused me nothing but pain and torture." I snap without meaning too, but Billy's gaze was softer than usual, I didn't see pity, but understanding.
