Mind Talk

Robin had the team all set up in the med bay, and had decided to try and find Raven. He checked the floral shop for any clues, but came up with nothing. He then checked some abandoned warehouses, only to have the same outcome. For 2 hours he searched, from the hair salon to the fast food joint, but couldn't find anything. As he began to start his motorcycle, a voice came into his head. Not just some voice, her voice. Robin. It cried. Robin, please save me. Followed by a blood curdling scream. He knew it was Raven. Sometimes they talked to each other through the bond. Raven? Where are you? Is everything ok? Are you hurt? He tried his best not to panic. Soon her voice came back in small words. Robin! Don't know. Slade. Hurt. Cut. Help. He couldn't quite interpret her words so he spoke again. What does it look like? Is he killing you? Do you have any idea what he wants? Her voice came through after a few long moments. Dark, basement maybe. Trying to, Wants answers. It wasn't much to lead off of but it was something. Hang in there Raven, I'm going to help you. He started his motorcycle and drove around town. He spoke to her again. Raven, are you still there? Is it bad? For what seemed like forever, he waited. Robin started to worry and thought of the pain she must've been in. Both physically and emotionally. Then he once again heard her crying voice. I won't let him break me Robin, never. He felt a chill up his spine and let the words sink in. Raven? Raven, don't you let go. Raven?! But no answer came back. Leaving him terrified from the inside out.
