that night, matt drove kaia and chloe both home to their houses so they could get ready for prom the next day without the boys seeing them.

the friday morning of prom, chloe texts kaia to come pick her up so they could go out to get their nails done and then get ready.

kaia arrives at chloe's place at 12:30, and they both had appointments at the nail salon to get their prom nails done together.

by the time they get to the nail salon, it's almost 1 o'clock, the time of their appointments.

the girls checked in with reception and went to their seats where two sweet ladies around anne's age looked at their reference photos and began cleaning and drilling their nails.

about 2 hours passes, and when they're all finished up and payed, kaia and chloe both send pictures of what they got done to matt and chris.

kaia sighed and shut her phone off, starting her car as chloe turns on some music to listen to on the way home.

(chris obviously payed for chloe's nails as well)

the girls drive all the way back to kaia's house and as they enter the front door, willow runs up to chloe to show her one of her new toys.

"aww, that's so cool, willy. where'd you get it?" chloe asks, picking up the child and carrying her into the kitchen with kaia where anne was making willow some food.

"mommy bought it for me." she smiles as chloe sets her down in her highchair to eat.

"i'm gonna grab our dresses from upstairs so you guys can set up all the hair and makeup stuff." kaia announces, walking upstairs to her room.

she takes the two dresses layed out on her bed and carefully carries them downstairs, hanging them on the cupboard next to the fridge, still in their protective plastic covers.

willow was eating her grilled cheese and watching kids youtube on her ipad while anne was heating up the hot tools for kaia and chloe's hair.

the two girls sat on the kitchen island stools and did their makeup infront of little mirrors on the counter while anne did their hair.

kaia's hair just curled and down past her shoulders, chloe's in more of a messy curly updo.

by the time both of their hair and makeup was done, it was 5:30. kaia checked her phone and saw that the triplets had posted their friday car video that they filmed last night after dropping everyone off.

because of the busy night, kaia planned on watching the video on the plane tomorrow, she just wouldn't have time tonight.

kaia and chloe both changed into their dresses in the living room and with all the last minute finishing touches, they were all dressed and ready by 6 o'clock.

kaia of course wore her pendant and horse necklace, and chloe wore the necklace chris bought her on their 3 months with his initial on it.

they planned on being at the triplet's house by no later than 6:30 because the prom itself starts at 7.

chloe and kaia both said goodbye to anne and willow and left the house to head out on time.

they carefully got into kaia's car as to not scuff their dresses, and kaia drove extra carefully so they wouldn't get into a car wreck on the way and ruin their prom night.

chloe texted marylou when they were a couple minutes away to make sure all the boys were in the other room and wouldn't see their dresses right away.

kaia parked in the driveway and they both got out of the car slowly, chloe opens the front door and marylou greets them with a big smile and a careful hug each.

"oh, you girls look so beautiful." she grins and points to the kitchen where nick, matt, and chris were all facing the other way so they wouldn't see them.

zeke, nathan, and amanda were in the living room and saw kaia and chloe right away.

"you both look so pretty!" amanda gives each of them a hug.

"so do you, i love this colour." kaia smiles and points to amanda's dress.

"can we look yet?" matt whines impatiently.

"yup, you can look now." marylou answers.

jimmy and justin were both filming to catch both group's reaction.

"don't know why i'm included in this." nick laughs as all three of them turn around, matt and chris' jaws both drop upon seeing kaia and chloe's full outfits.

"holy shit, this was the right choice." matt smiles and walks up to kaia to hug her.

chris takes a minute so chloe laughs and walks over to him. he hands her the corsage he was holding without any words.

kaia notices chris give chloe her corsage and she looks back at matt who has a hand over his mouth.

"shit." matt curses, holding nothing in his hands.

"matt! i told you so many times to remember her corsage!" nick yells at him.

"it might be in my room, one sec!" matt dashes up the stairs and to his room.

"i'm so sorry, sweetie, i had no idea he'd forget." marylou rubs kaia's back.

"it's okay, the corsage isn't that big of a deal anyway." she shrugs.

chloe notices that jimmy and justin were still recording and she makes a confused face at them. justin holds up one finger to his mouth, gesturing chloe not say anything as she looked back at kaia then at matt coming down the stairs.

matt held his hands behind his back and walked up to kaia.

"ready?" he smiles at her nervously.

"the corsage doesn't need a big reveal, matt." kaia laughs.

justin and jimmy point the cameras at matt and kaia, matt took his hands out from behind his back and showed kaia what he was holding.

her face dropped and a hand flew to cover her mouth. everyone looked stunned except of course for justin and jimmy who matt had told about his plan beforehand.

"you did not." kaia looks at matt, a shaky breath escaping her mouth.
