JAERYEONG POV

"My name is Delancey Ymenos. I'm Avery's younger half-sister. My father is a demon, Avery's father. My mother is a human but she was converted to a demon. My mother's name is Irina Ymenos and her korean name is Kim Inyoung. Well, that's her name but her actual married name is... Kwon Inyoung" Delancey said

"Kwon Inyoung.... Is My Mother.. And if your mother is Kwon Inyoung.. that makes you my... my...." I said

"Half Sister" Delancey said

"....Why.. is my mother.. your Mother?" I asked

"Do you.. know what your parents are?" Delancey asked

"My.... parents?" I said

"Do you know the reason why your Mother and Father always left you at home alone?" Delancey asked

"....No.." I said

"Your parents are Exorcists. They hunt demons" Delancey said

"What?" I said

"In the human world, there are some chosen humans who have magic powers.. Exorcism. People that are Exorcists have longer life spans than normal human.." Delancey said

"So are you saying.... my parents always left me at home alone.. to exterminate.. your kind?" I asked

"Yes. They were very good hunters.. but, they got captured. Your father got executed.. however your mother survived because a certain demon took a liking to her" Delancey said

"...A certain demon... Don't tell me.." I said

"Yes. Avery's Father had already lost his wife long before. When he met your mother, he had fallen in love. Your mother on the otherhand hated him but as she spent time with him, she soon.... also fell for him. But because she fell for him, she felt guilty.. for letting go of her love for her husband and you, her daughter" Delancey said

I didn't respond..

No.. I couldn't respond..

I didn't know what to say..

I was.. too shocked..

"In our world, Demons and Humans can't be together. It's forbbiden. Therefore, Avery's father placed a spell on your mother... converting her into a demon so the demon world would accept her. Then... they had me" Delancey said

"....But wait. Aren't you older than me? How is this possible?" I asked

"The demon world time functions differently from the human world. It goes by way faster than you think.." Delancey said

"...I don't believe this. Y-You're telling me.. My father died from execution. My mother fell for a demon and married him, as a result.. also turning into a demon. Then she had you.. and left me all by myself...." I said

"I know.. so therefore..." Delancey said then went down to the floor

My eyes widened.

"I'm very sorry.. You can hate me if you want.." Delancey said as bowed with her head down to the floor

"G-Get up" I said

Delancey stood up and averted my gaze..

".....Do you.. hate me?" Delancey asked

"N-No... I don't. It's just......... alot to take in" I said

"....I always heard stories about you from Mother.. Ever since I was young.. I always wanted to meet you. My sister.." Delancey smiled

"I... always wanted siblings.. It was always lonely.." I said

I felt my eyes being overwhelmed by tears..

I wiped my tears.

Delancey hugged me.

"Here I am.. A sibling you wished for" Delancey said

"So technically, you and Avery are my half-sisters?" I asked

Delancey nodded.

"What about Wonho?" I asked

".....Wonho's father is a human. His mother is a vampire. His father passed away already though.." Delancey said

"I see.. So my mother-No.. Our mother always kept you four company?" I said

"Five. Me, Wonho, Avery, Kihyun and Kronos" Delancey said

Oh yeah... Kronos..

Oh wait..

"Delancey, if your father could turn our mother into a demon... Why can't turn you and Wonho--" I said

"Because we're Hybrids. Spells and curses like those won't work on Hybrids.." Delancey said

"...I heard from Wonho.. Being a hybrid was hard.." I said

"It was hard.. and it still is... All because I'm half-human...." Delancey said

Half-Human...

Wait a sec...

FLASHBACK

"Listen up. Demons and Humans are never meant to be" Avery said

...Huh?

"Why not?" I asked

"Tch... They can't be together! NEVER! EVER!" Avery shouted

Why is she getting so upset?

"If they do get together, horrible consequences occur.. and their children have to suffer for it.." Avery said

That's why she disagrees with me and Kihyun being together..

I blushed.

I shook my head.

"Jaeryeong? Are you okay?" Delancey asked

"Y-Yeah! I'm okay" I said

I need to forget what I just thought...

"...Jaeryeong, can I ask you something?" Delancey asked

"Yeaaah?" I replied

"Are you in love with Krylne?" Delancey asked

"WHYY?!! I just forgot about that thought then you brought up Kihyun!!!" I shouted

"P-Pardon?" Delancey asked

"I-I'm sorry. I was talking... to myself. Anyways, umm.. well. If I had to say... I might be in love with him? I mean.. afterall, he was the only one who stayed by my side and never left me.." I said

"Wait, that may be because of the contract.." I added

I sighed...

"I see... I'll be right back. Stay here" Delancey said

"Oh... alright" I said

Delancey opened the door and left the room.

DELANCEY POV

So... Jaeryeong likes Krylne.. however Avery also likes Krylne.

But Krylne..

FLASHBACK

I contacted Krylne.

["What do you want? I'm busy"]

"Sir Krylne, you're the one that informed Sir Kronos about Jaeryeong being your contractor didn't you?" I asked

["...Yeah. I did. I also told him I'm retrieving her"]

"Why?! Do you realise you've put Jaeryeong and yourself in a more dangerous spot?!" I shouted

["Tch. I have my way of doing things. I don't need to listen to you"]

"Krylne!" I shouted

["It'll be okay. I'll save her.. No matter what"]

"Krylne wait--" I said but he hung up

I clenched my fists..

That stupid.. dense.. demon..

If you inform Kronos about Jaeryeong being your contractor plus you're gonna save her.. That means she matters to you. And if she matters to you, Kronos will use her in many ways possible to drag you back down here and lock you up again...

I need to contact him again.. I need to warn him...

I saw a bunch of maids in a crowd chattering..

"Did you see that?"

"Yeah! It was Sir Kronos!"

"Who was with him though? She looked strange.."

"Yeah.. She looks like a human"

My eyes widened..

I ran back to my room.

I saw the door broked down..

"JAERYEONG!" I shouted
