JAERYEONG POV

"I trust you so... I'll tell you.." Wonho said then sighed

"Dani and I... are Hybrids" Wonho added

"Hy...brids?" I said

"I'm half vampire and Dani is half demon" Wonho said

I nodded..

"....What's your other half?" I asked

Wonho clenched his fists..

"....Human. We're half-human" Wonho said

My eyes widened

"Humans...?" I said

"Yeah. That's right! My mother's a vampire, my father's human. For Dani, it's the other way around" Wonho said as he ruffled his hair

"Oh wow! That's so cool!" I smiled

Wonho's eyes widened..

"W-What?" I asked

".....Hah. Cool? What a joke" Wonho chuckled

Huh?

"I rather be full vampire or full human.. Being a hybrid.. is just the worse" Wonho said

My eyes widened..

"Because we'e hybrids, we get treated poorly.. We got discriminated.. bullied..." Wonho said

"W-Wonho--" I said

"Do you think I'm a hybrid to look cool? Screw that sh*t!" Wonho shouted

"I'm sorry. I'm really sorry... So.. don't cry" I said

Wonho's eyes widened.

He wiped his tears.

"No.. I'm sorry for shouting.." Wonho said

"No.. you shouldn't be. I'm the one at fault. I shouldn't have pried about your personal life.." I said

"It's okay. This topic had always been a soft spot for me and Dani" Wonho said

"I see.." I said

"You can hear the rest from Dani" Wonho said

"What? No! You just told me you guys have a soft--" I said

"Dani will most likely tell you. She can't hide it forever. Sooner or later, you'll find out" Wonho said

"Find out? About what?" I asked

"Mostly.. everything I guess?" Wonho said

"Yah Wonho!" I said

"If you don't want to ask but you're curious. Look around in Dani's drawers or something. You're bound to find something" Wonho said

"I-I can't do that--" I said

Delancey opened the door and came in with tea.

"Well then, I'll be leaving" Wonho said

"Eh? Already?" Delancey asked

"Dani, it's okay. You'll see my face tomorrow, no worries" Wonho said

"At least have tea" Delancey said

Wonho grabbed the teacup and gulped it down.

"Wow. It's hot. Anyways, excuse me ladies. I'll be leaving now" Wonho said then opened the door, leaving the room

.....Should I ask?

...I don't want to though.

I should distract Delancey with something else otherwise we won't communicate properly

"D-Delancey! Let me tell you about the human world!" I said

"Huh? The human world?" Delancey asked

I nodded.

I took the tea and sipped it.

Since Delancey was raised here, she doesn't know about the human world.. which is her other self.

WONHO POV

I entered the house and laid down on the couch..

["Oh wow! That's so cool!" Jaeryeong smiled]

["I'm sorry. I'm really sorry... So.. don't cry" Jaeryeong said]

FLASHBACK (Age: 5,000)

"You're a hybrid? That's cool" The woman smiled

"TH-THERE'S NOTHING COOL ABOUT BEING A HYBRID! IT'S.... IT'S SO HORRIBLE! I HATE IT! I HATE MYSELF!" I shouted

"Wait, Wonho--" The woman said

"I'M ALWAYS BEING MISTREATED! LAUGHED AT! BULLIED! I HATE IT ALL!" I shouted

"I'm sorry.. I'm very sorry... So please don't cry" The woman said

END OF FLASHBACK

......They're so similar..

Even Dani...

I shutted my eyes and soon..

I fell into the darkness..

I walked through the castle and saw a family visiting our place..

"Mama, who are they?" I asked

"They're the Ymenos family. Lady Ymenos & Sir Ymenos. And that girl in the frilly pink dress is Princess Avery Ymenos" Mama said

I noticed a little girl in maiden clothes clinging behind the Lady Ymenos...

"Who's that?" I asked

"That girl? Hmm... I wonder.. Probably the Princess's Servant" Mama said

Hmmm?

I walked off to play in the garden

I saw a butterfly and chased it.

"Haha! Hey! Come back!" I giggled

I stopped in my tracks as I saw the little maiden girl sitting in the grass, plucking flowers from our garden.

I growled..

"HEY!" I shouted

The girl flinched.

"That's our flowers! What are you doing?!" I shouted as I ran to her

"I-I-I was just getting some for the Princess--" The girl said

"That's no excuse! You should at least ask!" I shouted

"I-I'm very sorry--Ahhh!" The girl said tripping over

"Hahah! Serves you right!" I said, sticking out my tongue

The girl got up and bowed.

She walked off, leaning towards one of her leg..

???

I noticed a piece of glass in the grass..

"Oi! Maid! Anyone?" I called

A maid came rushing to me.

"Yes, young master?" The maid bowed

"There's a piece of glass here. It's dangerous" I pointed

"Oh dear! Did you get hurt?!" The maid exclaimed

"Huh? Of course not" I said

"But.. there's blood on it" The maid said as she picked up the glass

Blood?

Oh.. that little maiden must have...

Oh whatever, she's demon so she'll be fine..

I went to go back to my room but noticed something on the floor

A trail of.... blood?

I followed the bloody drips which led me to the girl..

"HEY YOU!!" I shouted as I ran to her

The girl turned around.

"STUPID! You're bleeding" I said

"I know I am.." The girl said

"Then why aren't your wounds healing?" I asked

"Cause... I'm a Hybrid" The girl said

My eyes widened..

..........A Hybrid...

I took her hand and pulled her off.

"Where are we going?" The girl asked

I took her through the bushes and inside my hideout.

"Sit here" I said

The girl sat down the rock.

"What is this place?" The girl asked

"My hideout" I said

I took out a first aid kit and treated her wound.

"Why do you have a first aid kit here? It's totally pointless" The girl said

I grumbled..

I walked to one of the bushes.

"Look here" I said

I removed the bushes and showed it to her.

Her eyes widened..

"This is my Papa's grave. He's... a Human" I said

The girl stared at me.

"I'm... just like you.. A.. Hybrid" I said

"I see... So I guess we're on the same boat" The girl said

"I-I'm Wynstro. My human name is Wonho" I said

"Mine's Delancey. Dani is my human name" Delancey said

"I'll call you Dani so call me Wonho" I smiled

"H-Huh? No way! Only Mummy can call me that!" Delancey pouted

"Your mummy? Who?" I said

"My human mother, Kim Inyoung. Well... Her last name changed though because she was married. Her human last name is--" Delancey said

I opened my eyes..

"Ughh... Why did I have a dream of the past?" I groaned

I sighed...

That Woman..

Kim Inyoung, I will never forgive you for making Delancey suffer..
