WONHO POV

I knocked on the door..

No answer huh?

I opened the door quietly and saw Krylne still meditating..

The aura around him is darker than yesterday's..

He's seriously... trying to restore his demon form?

That Jaeryeong must mean alot to Krylne.

"You're still trying to restore your demon state?" I asked

"Shut up. I'm concentrating" Krylne said

I sighed.

"But seriously, are you planning to save Jaeryeong?" I asked

He didn't answer..

"She's with Dani so she'll be fine. I'm sure Dani won't let Jaeryeong get killed" I said

The aura started to fade.

Krylne stood up and stared at me.

"I don't trust Delancey. And I don't trust you" Krylne said

"I don't care if you don't trust me. I don't need your trust or any other. I have Dani. As long as she trusts me, I'm fine" I said as I passed him his shirt (Yes, he wasn't wearing a top)

"You sure love Delancey" Krylne said as he wore his shirt

"And you sure love that human" I said

Krylne stared then looked away.

"I don't love her" Krylne said

"Hm? Really? Then why are you trying so hard to rescue her?" I asked

"....I'm not going to save her" Krylne said

"Then what are you doing?" I asked

"I'm... just going home to visit my fam--" Krylne said

"Don't bullsh*t with me. You despise your family" I said

Krylne grumbled..

"I'm there to visit Avery" Krylne said

"Man, are you just stupid or plain dumb? We're both monsters. We can tell whether or not we're lying or not and the truth is, You're Lying" I said

"If that's so then don't ask" Krylne said

"Tch. I bet you don't act this rudely in front of Jaeryeong" I said as I took out my phone

Krylne stared at my phone for some reason.

"What?" I said

"Hey, where's your keychain?" Krylne asked

"Huh? Oh! AHH!!! Where did it go?!" I exclaimed as I touched my pockets

Where the hell did I lose it?!

"Didn't it had a photo of you, Delancey and--" Krylne said

"Yes yes yes! Geez" I said

"......Just asking out of curiosity, why won't Delancey let Jaeryeong die?" Krylne asked

I paused..

"I can't tell you" I said

"Huh? Why not?" Krylne asked

"Cause I promised I wouldn't tell anyone.." I said

"What? With Delancey?" Krylne asked

"No... With That Woman" I said

"Wow. You really despise her don't you? Even though she always kept us four company when we were youn--" Krylne said

"Shut up.. I don't want hear about it. Because of her, she made Dani suffer" I said

"You and Avery needs to stop holding a grudge against her. Just because--" Krylne said

"SHUT UP!" I said as I smashed my hand through the wall

I pulled out my hand from the wall.

"You're paying for that" Krylne said

"Alright! Just don't talk about her. It reminds me of horrible memories" I said

I cooked steak and brought it to the dinner table.

"Here's the knif--Oh Whoops" Krylne said but accidentally tripped

One of the knives flew towards me.

I instantly dodged the knife..

"Bruh! Are you trying to kill me?!" I asked as I slammed the table

"Your cheek" Krylne said

I touched my cheek and saw blood..

I grabbed the tissue and wiped it off.

"Why don't you just lick the blood off? You're a vampire" Krylne said

"Gross. Blood tastes horrible for me remember?" I said

"Oh right.. Because.. you're--" Krylne said

"Yeah yeah! You don't need to mention it" I said

"You sure hate it when people call you that right?" Krylne said

"Totally, so don't speak of it" I said

We started eating our steaks. We chatted abit but then became quiet after that. Krylne got up then placed his dish in the sink.

"Are you meditating again?" I asked

"Yep. So don't disturb me" Krylne said as he walked into the room

"Then I'll just go visit Dani and JAERYEONG" I said as I purposely said 'Jaeryeong' loudly

I placed my dish in the sink and walked out the house.

I went behind the house where no one could see me..

I bared out my fangs and bit my wrist.

As blood poured out, I drew the magic circle.

It shined and created a portal.

I took a leap and fell through.

I spat out the remaining blood in my mouth..

"Gross.. Seriously, why do vampires have to use their blood to travel to different worlds?" I complained

JAERYEONG POV

"Hahaha! And then?? What happened?" I asked

"He cried because he couldn't eat anymore cookies" Delancey smiled

"Wow. What a baby" I laughed

"He was a baby that time" Delancey said

"Haha. Not to me. 10,004 years old is waaaaaay too old" I said

"How old are you?" Delancey asked

"18. My birthday passed already" I said

Before I met Kihyun..

Sadly, I would have wanted to celebrate with him.

"Oh! When's Kihyun's birthday?" I asked

"November 22nd" Delancey said

"Wow.. That's not really far from my birthday" I said

"Oh yeah. Your birthday is on July 4th" Delancey said

My eyes widened...

I stared at Delancey.

"How... did you know that?" I asked

Delancey flinched..

"Delancey... tell me--" I said

<KNOCK KNOCK>

"Dani, it's me"

"C-Count Wynstro!" Delancey said as she opened the door

"Yah! It's Wonho" Wonho said as he closed the door

"H-Hey Wonho" I smiled

"Sup! How are you?" Wonho asked

"Good" We both replied

Oh? His cheek.. it's been scratched..

The mark looks new..

"Wonho.. your face" Delancey said

"Huh? Oh this? Krylne caused this" Wonho said

My eyes widened.

"K-Kihyun did?" I asked

"It was just an accident.... Oh wait. Was it an accident?" Wonho said then gasped in realisation

"Delancey, about before--" I said

"I-I'm gonna go make some tea! You guys wait here for me okay?" Delancey said as she left the room

Delancey.. Are you deliberately avoiding me?

Hmm..

"What's wrong?" Wonho asked

"Huh? Oh... Delancey's avoiding me" I said

"Eh?? Why?" Wonho asked

"Well.. we were talking about birthdays then suddenly, she mentioned my birthdate.. however, I never told her my birthday.. So when I asked her, she didn't reply" I said

"M-Maybe a guess?" Wonho said

"Out of 1/365 days and 1/12 months, guessing the correct birthdate is a very slim chance" I said

Wonho didn't reply..

He even avoided my eyes..

Could he possibly know?

Oh right!

"Wonho, last time, you dropped this" I said as I gave him the keychain

Wonho smiled and took the keychain.

"Thanks! I've been looking for it" Wonho smiled

"In return, I want you to tell me something" I said

Wonho paused..

"...Depends on what it is" Wonho said

Depends huh?

He definitely won't tell me about Delancey since he didn't reply properly before..

Something else...

Oh...

"...Alright.. Last time when we met, what did you mean by you two were degraded for who you are?" I asked

Wonho didn't speak..

"..Is this something you can't speak about?" I asked

Wonho sighed..

"Fine.. I'll tell you" Wonho said

"R-Really? But.. are you sure?" I asked

Wonho nodded.

"I'll trust you so... I'll tell you.." Wonho said then sighed

"Dani and I... are Hybrids"
