Attack on Titan: I want to see the World beyond the Walls - Part 3

22:48, 27 October 2018

The sun was coming down and I got onto a roof to try and find Armin once again. I saw him sitting on the highest rooftop of one of the tallest buildings in the City within Trost district.

I used My nervegear to go up there to reach to him-- soldiers with 3D maneuver gear was allowed to use their equipments only if it was for something important. And trust Me....using My maneuver gear just to see Armin IS important.

I landed onto the rooftop and Armin noticed from the sound of metal from My maneuver gear and glanced over to see Me.

"Oh, Kiyomi." Armin smiled gently.

"Hi, Armin!" I greeted him back happily.

.........

There was silence as we both sat on top the roof together looking at the wide view of small houses below us and a vast view of the walls surrounding the city and the beautiful sky that changed its colors slowly before the sun would fall.

I glanced over to Armin and I realized this whole time I've been looking at the view he was staring at Me.

"O-Oops, sorry Armin. Did you have something to say to Me? Sorry, I was distracted by the view of the city and the sky." I giggled sheepishly.

"While you were staring at the view I had found a much more beautiful one to stare at."

I suddenly blushed upon hearing him say that.

Was the other view he was saying he got distracted at......Me?

I blushed at the thought and we both stared at each other with smiles upon our faces.

I couldn't control the beating of My heart nor My blushing. But I decided to thank him.

"T-Thank you Armin. F-For keeping your promise."

"I should also be thanking you for keeping your promise as well."

I was about to look back at the horizon until I realized Armin still staring at Me. was I really that pretty to look at...?

My heart began to pound quicker and he snapped out of it and began to get the impression that he's been staring at Me too long and he became nervous and stared into the sky instead.

We sat there for the longest time.

The sun was halfway down and the colors in the sky changed very quickly and was turning darker. It will be getting chilly out soon.

.....

....

"I-I....I want......to see the Outside World." Armin hesitantly spoke. I noticed a look on his face that looked a bit sad and doubtful.

Perhaps he was beginning to become doubtful that he will be able to see the Ocean and the World beyond the Walls without any Titans..?

I took Armin's hand into mine and squeezed it gently. "Armin....are you maybe becoming a little doubtful that you won't be able to see the World Outside the Walls?" I asked him softly.

He altered his eyes from mine, uncertain of what to say.

"Don't worry Armin. I promise you you'll see the ocean. I promise."

I placed a hand on the side of his face, slowly tilting his face up so his eyes could meet with mine.

I leaned My face closer to him and kissed My lips against his soft ones and I took away all his worries as he did for Me earlier.

That was the day I promised him that I won't let his dreams be crushed-- that he will see the Ocean and that world we dreamed of would become a reality behind these Walls that cage us like cattle.

The End
