Attack on Titan: Ocean Sounds
12:20, 17 September 2018It was great finally being able to go to the Ocean with Armin. We could go whenever we felt like it since the Titans on paradise island were all wiped out.
So now we had the freedom of being able to always spend the day at the beach whenever we were off duty.
Today I went with Armin to the beach. I took off my boots and splashed my feet around in the water while giggling.
“It's so awesome we are able to see the ocean and hang out here!” I grin the biggest smile I could muster.
Armin smiles back, finding g it difficult not to return one.
“I know right? It's amazing.”
“Yeah….”
There was a moment of peaceful silence as we watched the waves gently splash onto shore. But then a marvelous idea made its way into my head. A playful idea.
“Armin, come over here.” I smirked.
I usually never, ever smirk no matter the circumstances. Armin knew this couldn't be good, but he decides to approach me in curiosity.
“What is it?”
Suddenly, I splash a giant wave onto Armin, soaking him wet.
I crack up laughing afterwards, upon seeing his reaction. One his moment of complete shock had passed, he smirked back.
“Oooh so this is how your gonna play.”
With that being said, Armin manages to splash a mountain of water over me. It was way worse than I got him.
I burst out laughing and before I even knew it, we were both in a little war to see who could splash each other worst.
In the end, I think we could both agree that it was pretty much a tie.
After the Wave fight we sat down in the sand while sticking our feet in the shallow water.
We would chat and laugh as time worn on. It was such a nice day out for the beach. It was so fun, I wish we could both spend time here every day.
“Kiyomi, listen! Put this above your ear.” Armin hands over a sea shell.
“Why?” I asked in curiosity.
“Just try it, you'll hear something.”
I put the shell by my ear. At first I didn't hear a sound. But then, I heard a noise. It sounded like waves…. It was as if the sound of the ocean was playing inside of it. It was muffled, but there.
“Isn't it neat?”
“Yeah...that's really cool.” I return a smile before I began to hand back his shell. But then, he took my hands and closed them so I'd be holding onto the shell tightly.
“No, keep it. So you remember today.” He tells me.
“Ok...I will.”
When we got back into Wall Rose, when I went back to the barracks, I began to make a necklace holding the shell Armin gave me.
Now whenever we are out fighting, I will have this charm by my side, to remind me that I'm not alone. Because a part of him will always stay with me.
The End
