Attack on Titan: Movie Night

This is a one-shot story that takes place in the modern day world, instead of the universe of Attack on Titan. I tried making it into a goofy comedy but I don't know how well I did at making it funny. But if you love Armin and Eren's friendship like I do, or even ship it-- I would recommend this story to you. Enjoy!

In the town of Shiganshina, there stood a house that a trio shared. It was a red roofed house painted dirty blonde.

Eren went to work, mowed the lawn, Armin was working on a written book he was planning to publish by next month, and Mikasa kept texting Eren like crazy, wanting to know if he was ok, if he needed anything, and this and that.

Eren by time he got home, was exhausted and angry. And it was no wonder. Here he was, busy at work, and Mikasa won't quit texting him back and forth! He had a job to do! He couldn't just keep responding to her! If this keeps up, his boss will likely notice and fire him.

So by time Eren got back, he rained hell onto Mikasa. They would be bickering in a fight back and forth to each other in the main room, and poor Armin was just trying to ignore and type away on his computer for his book. Sometimes Eren and Mikasa’s fights get so bad, it kinda scares him.

By time the arguing was over, Eren hurried off to his room and slammed it shut before cursing at Mikasa.

Once the house fell silent, Armin got away from his computer desk and went over to Mikasa to make sure she was ok.

After a couple hours had passed, Eren began to feel guilty for how he treated Mikasa. So he went to apologise to her. But not just her, but to Armin as well for making him have to hear their ranting while he was working on his career.

And to make up for it, he gives everyone an idea about having a movie night. It had been so long the three really did anything like this. They were always so busy with work.

So Armin and Mikasa agrees with the idea of an movie night.

Eren was looking through the cabinets for movies the three could watch together, Mikasa was microwaving a bag of popcorn for everyone, and Armin was filling up drinks for everyone. P.s, it's not achol-- just fruity drinks. So don't be getting any funny ideas!

So Armin sits the drinks into the sofa’s cup holders, and Mikasa came back with a huge bowl of popcorn for the three to enjoy.

Eren sits down on the couch with Mikasa and Eren once he put the DVD disk in the movie player.

“What are we watching?” Armin asked in curiosity. He was guessing it would be a Disney movie, since that one was a family favorite in the household. But no. Instead…

“Jeff the killer.” Eren says in a really creepy voice while turning on the remote to turn the movie onto the main menu screen.

“J-J-J…” Armin couldn't even finish his stuttering before a voice spoke darkly from the TV.

“Go to sleep….go to sleep…”

It was only the main menu theme, but Armin was becoming terrified already and began lifting the blanket over his face. (Armin loves curling up with blankets or futons while watching a movie)

“Eren, what is this movie rated?” Mikasa ask while her tone risens.

“P-PG!” Eren answers.

“Eren, this doesn't look PG. What is this movie even doing in our cabine--”

“Come on, Mikasa! Let's just watch it!! It's fine! Armin's our little soldier! Isn't that right, Armin?” Eren turns his attention to Armin and he gives a shaky nod.

“You see? He's fine! He can handle it! It's not that bad of a movie! Heck, I don't even know why this is even labeled as a horror story! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!!!” Eren laughs.

“Okay…..” so Mikasa decides to leave it at that and the three watches the movie together.

Eren questioned how this movie was even labeled as a horror film, as if he didn't think it was scary. But what should really be questioned, is Eren’s ideas of what a Family movie is.

The movie was just plain horrifying. Basically it was about a urban legend….about a guy named Jeff the killer. And Jeff, he….erm, liked killing people-- hence the name. And he enjoyed doing it an night, when his victim is asleep. And if they aren't asleep but spots him, he will place a finger by his lips, shush them and whisper to “Go back to sleep”.

The three ended up finishing the horror movie. but by now, Armin was hiding his face in Mikasa’s chest, as if he was hiding from a terrifying monster and wanted protection from his mother.

“Eren….that was Not PG.” She glared.

“Sorry! How was I supposed to know the rating!?” Eren throws his arms into the air.

“If you look closely on the back of the DVD cover, there's an age rating there. And if you look closely on the DVD disk itself, the age rating is labeled there as well!” Mikasa points out.

“How was I even supposed to know!? But that was a good movie! Am I right?”

“That was a terrible movie.” Frowned Mikasa unhappily.

Armin stayed silent.

Eren tchs before turning his back on everyone and into his room.

“Fuck family movie night!”

Eren slams the door behind him.

“I'm...sorry about Eren, Armin. You see, he's

um...been going through a lot at work.”

“It's ok Mikasa. I understand.” Armin reassures her that it's alright.

With that Mikasa and Armin left to their separate bedrooms for a night's rest.

So much for family movie night….

Armin crawls into bed and tries to sleep….but then he realizes something. What if….what if he goes to sleep and Jeff kills him?

Suddenly Jeff's whispers saying, “Go back to sleep” was entering through his head.

Armin turns on his lamp light next to his best and hugs his knees in an effort to calm himself.

“It's alright Armin, it's ok….it's just a stupid horror movie. None of it is real...it's all Fiction. Fake…”

But despite Armin reassuring himself that Jeff the killer wasn't real, he was too scared to go to sleep. So he didn't.

“M-Maybe I’ll just….work some more on my book.” Armin decides to enter the living room and type.

But over time, he would get so sleepy while typing, his head would nearly hit against the desk. It was so hard for him to be fighting sleep like this.

“M-Maybe...Eren or Mikasa will let me sleep with them.” Decides Armin.

He nears Eren's door, peeks it open, slides in, quietly shuts it and crawls into bed to cuddle up to Eren.

If Armin is exposed to anything terrifying or traumatizing, and is still affected from it by night time, he will feel scared and lonely, and will want to sleep with Eren or Mikasa.

Eren usually doesn't like Armin sleeping with him since they are both guys, he thinks it is weird and that Armin should try to be more mature and brave.

But Armin can't help it. Especially when he loves to cuddle 💕

So Armin curls up under the covers with Eren and happily snuggles against him. Perhaps now he can sleep peacefully without fearing for his life.

Eren eventually wakes up. He feels something warm against him. It felt so warm, it was nicer than a blanket. But when he opened his eyes...he realizes it was Armin!

He blushes madly in embarrassment and shouts at Armin.

“A-Armin?!! W-What the hell are you doing!?”

Armin grumbles before waking up to see an not so happy Eren.

“O-Oh...Eren.”

“Armin, what are you doing? You know we can't sleep together like this! Especially now that we are older!”

“B-But...if I sleep alone tonight...J-Jeff the killer will come and murder me in my sleep!” Armin's eyes were now full of tears and he began to cry.

Eren made Armin watch a horror movie. Therefore, it was Eren's job to keep Armin safe and happy.

Eren groans unhappily but decides to put up with it for just this one night.

Armin's cries eventually ends and he falls asleep smiling.

Perhaps this night wasn't so terrible after all.
