Attack on Titan: Flower Crowns
05:10, 16 September 2018It was another day within the walls that Humanity lived behind in fear, of the Titans; the lurking threat that existed outside.
Today Eren, Armin, Mikasa, Sasha, Connie, Erwin, Levi and me, was having a picnic in an open fields of grass.
And I Know what you must be thinking right now….why the hell would characters from such a bloody and violent universe be doing something as peaceful as a picnic!?!!
Please be aware that these people are human too. They love to enjoy their free time in a relaxing manner too. They don't always train to fight Titans, or simply kill Titans. They do other things too. And having a random picnic was just one of those things.
Everyone was doing their own little thing during this wonderful picnic. Levi was sipping on some of his warm tea.
Mikasa was cleaning her blade even though nothing life threatening such as Titans, would ever ruin their nice little day.
It honestly isn't that great of an idea that the Titans would randomly breach the walls today just because they felt like it. I mean, it's always a possibility. But an unlikely one at that.
Sasha was running around with tea, Connie was scolding her, and Jean watched in amusement.
Erwin sat at the table across from Jean and Mikasa, watching Eren from afar. He was listening to the boy discuss ideas with the captain, Levi, about how the scouts could prepare to reach their goal next time they venture outside. Levi was willing to listen.
And Armin….he was being so adorable. He was sitting behind Mikasa who was sitting on the bench, still cleaning her blades, and he was in the grass and held something in his hands. It was flowers. He would be carefully connecting the stems closely together to make an beautiful flower crown.
I blushed and scream in a psychopathic way in my mind. He was so cute. Too adorable. So sweet. So precious. So pure!
And guessing from my thoughts, you probably are already aware of this, but….I have a crush on Armin. And a major one. I love him so much, I just want to protect him from the Titans. I want him to live a long life. I want him to always be happy. I would be willing to follow him into hell. So….yeah. my feelings for the coconut is intense.
I was standing aways away, my back against a tree while I sat criss-crossed in the grass, a book in my hands. I was reading.
But I felt lonely and sad. Everyone seemed to be having so much fun. I felt left out. But I continued to read, feeling that I could never become a part of the group having fun.
I would however, occasionally peek from my book to sneak quick glances at Armin.
He really is cute...just look at him, making freaking flower crowns!....I mean seriously, what's not adorable about making flower crowns?
Eventually at one time, Armin's eyes meets mine. Uh-oh! He caught me!
My heart nearly skips a beat as my eyes nearly jumped out before I altered them immediately and began to stare at the pages to my book.
I hope he didn't see. I hope he didn't notice me staring at him. I hope he thinks nothing of it. I hope he doesn't feel bothered by my gaze. I hope I didn't make him angry by staring…
I had so many thoughts rushing through my head, so many worries, so many fears….
But they eventually washed away. I glanced up from my books again to see Armin working on what looks to be his almost finished flower crown.
His gaze meets mine again, and to keep things from being weird, I gave him a sheepish smile.
To my surprise, he beams a smile right back at me. It was then, I decided I would gather my courage and hang out with Armin. I stood up with my book and timidly sat next to him and smiled once more.
“Hi Armin!”
“Hello Kiyomi. I saw you staring.” He adds.
“Oh, uh, um...sorry.” I didn't Know what to say. I really had no excuse….and lying was out of the question.
“Are you perhaps curious of what I'm making?” He suddenly asks.
I knew what it was he was making, but to keep him from knowing that my stare was due to my little crush on him, I nodded in agreement to his question.
He explains to me what he was making was a flower crown. He even helps show me how to make one of my own! He really is sweet and friendly. I was having a lot of fun doing this with Armin. We usually don't do things like this together, since we are busy soldiers.
“And there! You just made your first flower crown!” Armin smiles to me.
“Cool.” I grin.
And with having succeeded in making my first flower crown, I place it on to his head.
His face begins to heat up into a light blush and I giggle happily.
Mikasa looks down to me and Armin who were in front of her, and she smiled. This brought back many memories. She used to make flower crowns when she was a child. She always would put them on to Eren's head.
I was no longer lonely or feeling left out. I was able to spend time with Armin instead of reading a boring book. Sure, reading is fun and all, but it's always great to take a break every once in awhile and to do things with others.
The End
