Attack on Titan: Give a piece of mind

17:15, 19 August 2018

It was a extremely rough day for everyone in the 104th training cadets. And that was because keith was in a very bad mood today. It was so bad, nobody has even had so much of 1 or 2 minutes of a break time today.

Did he get dumped or something?

Who knows. But it had to be something so bad where he wouldn’t even care if he forced everyone to go into the woods and run 5 laps across from there and back to the training camp in the rough stormy rain.

And keith didn’t even bother accompanying the trainees. He just sat on a rock and told everyone he’d be waiting. He even went so far with his plan as to give reiner a gunshot firing blue smoke - yes blue. It’s blue because it means that the trannies need help from their instructor or ect.

So everyone was completely worn out today. Some couldn’t even manage and would collapse and also let’s not forget to mention, pass out. Some even passed out cold. This was so unlike Keith to just work his cadets half to death.

But the sky was so cloudy that you could no longer see any light breaching through the clouds and it was just dark, cloudy and pouring down a storm. The wind made it worse.

If this was made into a reality show, it would have to be called ; 104th cadets Training through hell.

Everyone was trying to hold on. Some had quit and fled back. They were sure going to get a scolding from keith. Some even leaned on each other just trying to hold on and survive this intense training keith gave them. After this was all over, if keith doesn't give anyone a break he has to be the opposite of human.

Armin was trying to keep up but was falling behind greatly. His heart was banging against his chest hard. He felt like he couldn’t keep any of this up for much longer. And with the harsh rain hitting everybody and slowing them down, this just made this track around the woods 5 times worse than it already was.

Armin huffed and puffed and tried to force his feet and legs to keep up with everyone but failed. He tried to control his breathing but it was way off and his voice was beginning to feel hoarse.

But then Armin nearly tripped and started tumbling, but he managed to catch himself. He wasn’t the only one feeling like this. Everyone was exhausted. Mikasa surprisingly shown some exhaustion. But there were very few who rarely shown any exhaustion - such as Mikasa, Braun and Annie.

It felt like that this torturous training and trail would never end.

Armin eventually couldn’t take any more of this and he collapsed on the hard, wet and cold ground.

Once he fell he would be trying to catch his breath and would be breathing very hard and not right. His breathing was way off and not normal. But so was the same for some of the other trainees.

Armin’s eyes had shut as he focused on nothing more than catching his breath. He no longer heard loud puddle stomping sounds coming from his comrades jogging. Did they perhaps forgot him and left him behind? Maybe they didn’t realize that just now he collapsed on them.

His breathing and beating heart would not ease. Not for a while. He thought he was alone and left behind. But that was until he heard a familiar voice reached his ears.

“Armin, are you ok?”

Armin blinked his eyes open upon hearing the voice. The voice was all too familiar.

“A...Annie?” Armin gasped out Annie's name. He was out of too much breath to speak.

Annie was bent down by Armin. She was the only one who noticed his collapse and stayed behind with him. Surprisingly nobody even noticed Annie’s disappearance either.

Armin’s body was aching. Everybody barely had so much of a break, so his body was aching something terribly with his heart throbbing from how much it had jammed against his chest. And his abnormal breathing made his voice hoarse. But right now he could only let out gasp or whispers.

Armin then made an effort to push himself up from the muddy ground but collapsed back into the ground.

Annie didn’t really even looked that much affected by this hellish training at all. How can she be so strong…?

“Armin, can you get up?”

“I-I can…” he gasped out and began to try and push himself up again. His hands slipped and Annie caught Armin from colliding with the ground again by swiftly wrapping her arms around his waist. And it worked.

Armin was surprised how he didn’t collide with the ground. But that was when he realized that Annie caught him and had her arms wrapped around his waist.

Armin’s face flushed a pinkish red and Annie was able to feel Armin’s heart jabbing against his chest painfully. How can he go through any more of this painful training?

“Armin….it’s ok if you can’t go any farther. We can just return and rest in our dorms.” she said to him.

“B-But….” Armin whispered worriedly.

But what about keith? He’d surely raise up a storm if they returned only to been quitting this ridiculous training.

“Don’t worry Armin - Keith will eventually open his eyes to what he’s been making his cadets go through and cut us some slack.

Annie then raised up with her arms still wrapped around Armin’s waist and Armin’s feet almost slid but he caught himself.

“Are you alright, Armin?”

“Y-Yeah…..I’m fine.” Armin gasped and began to retrace his steps with Annie slowly.

Annie was able to notice his shaking legs and feet and how he looked he could collapse at any second.

“Don’t try to shoulder all of this on yourself, Armin. You can lean on Me if that helps.” Annie could tell Armin was shouldering all this pain on his shoulders and was hiding it so he wouldn’t bother or burden her.

“O-ok….” Armin decided instead of arguing with her or denying the fact that he’s been pushed to his limits, to lean on Annie’s side.

For a while Annie and Armin have retraced their tracks heading back to the trannies camp for some rest that they deserve.

Annie would glance over to Armin every now and again to check how he looked he was doing.

Each time she glanced over he would look more and more exhausted. He looked like he could use some sleep….

It was when Annie knew Armin could barely walk any more she decided to pick him up. She knew she should have done this long ago. But what held her back from doing so?

So Annie picked Armin up in her arms bridal style. This greatly surprised the blonde enough for his eyes to have gone wide in surprise.

“A-Annie--w-what are you….”

“It’s fine Armin. You don’t have to go any farther. Just rest in My arms for now.”

“B-But what about keith….?”

“I give him a beating if he has a problem with it. This is too much training for any human. Except the only people who could probably handle this kind of training who’s here is Me, Braun and Mikasa. ( I hope I’m not forgetting anyone….)

So Annie continued retracing her tracks with Armin to the camp.

Armin was eventually able to relax and even closed his eyes for a while. He even managed to get a small nap.

____________

Annie managed to give Keith a piece of her mind when she came back with Armin and Keith decided that the following day he would apologise to everyone. But everyone probably won’t forgive Keith for one, two or three weeks. Yeah. the training non-stop today was that bad.

Annie was even able to get permission to bring Armin into his dorm.

Annie walked into Armin’s dorm and she looked below at Armin who was still being carried bridal-style in her arms.

He had managed to fall asleep some.

But it was when Annie gently placed Armin into his bed his senses began to kick on and he slowly opened his eyes to be blinded by the lights in the room and to see Annie in front of his sight.

“A-Annie….?”

Annie slipped light covers onto Armin. But only the light covers since he was probably hot and sticky from today's training.

It was then Armin asked quietly…..

“Where are we….?”

“You're back in your dormitory. I was able to give Keith some piece of My mind, and he apologised for everything up till now and he will try to not repeat what had happened today.

“A piece of your mind….? Hold on - what did you say to him?” Armin became worried. It couldn’t have been anything good.

“You don’t need to worry Armin. It’s fine. You can rest now so don’t worry about tomorrow. We will positively not be doing this again. And if this were to have happened again tomorrow…..there's gonna be a mutiny.”

Armin wasn’t sure how to respond to Annie’s last words and stayed quiet for a moment til something hit him.

“Oh-wait. How….how did you get permission to come into My room?”

“Keith said he didn’t care if I brought you in here since you were so exhausted you practically couldn’t walk anymore.”

“But I only stopped walking because you said--”

“It’s fine, Armin. It’s not a big deal.” Annie tried to put Armin at ease.

Armin then let out a sigh and shut his eyes for a few moments. When he opened them he saw Annie staring straight at him.

“You can sleep if you want. I’ll be leaving soon anyways.”

“Oh….ok.”

There was silence. Annie noticed Armin looking at her instead of giving himself some shut eye.

“What is it?”

“Oh- um, it’s just you seem like a really caring person. More than you might let on.”

“Oh... really? You think so?”

“Yeah. the fact that you didn’t leave Me behind and carried Me all the way back to the camp and all the way into My dorm is proof enough.” Armin gave Annie a smile that made a small blush spread on both her cheeks.

Armin eventually closed his eyes and immediately fell to sleep.

Annie stared at Armin for a while before placing her lips onto his. His lips were extremely soft. And so were hers. Armin was just in his sleep but pecked her cheeks back.

Annie smiled a little finding it cute how Armin was dreaming but kissed back in his sleep. She left Armin a little after that.

“See you tomorrow….Armin.”

And when Armin woke up the next morning he thought he remembered how something soft touching his lips last night but no matter what, he just couldn’t remember what happened.

The End
