Attack on Titan: Linda's Story/ Part 2

One day I asked Ryan if he would introduce me to his friend Andreas. So he ends up bringing me to him.

“He’s probably somewhere up high again. Let's check by his house first though.”

He’s….probably somewhere up high? What kind of a guy is Andreas?!

Ryan told me to wait outside and knocked on the door and Andreas’s parents let him in. he must be checking for Andreas inside….

“Hey. who are you?”

“Huh?”

I looked around and saw nobody.

“Up here.”

I looked up to see a boy on the roof. He had short blonde hair and amber brown eyes.

Was this...Andreas? What's he doing on the roof of his own house?! That's dangerous!!

“I SAID who are you?” he raises his tone while glaring at me.

Um...how did Ryan, a total sweetheart end up with such an intimidating friend?

“Well?” he doesn't quit pestering me about my name.

“My names Linda. Are you…?”

“Andreas! I couldn’t find you anywhere inside, your not on the roof again--”

Ryan came running out of the house and he joins my side and glances up to see the blonde boy.

Ryan’s eyes calmed down and he didn’t look shocked to see him up there.

“I wonder why this doesn't even surprise me.” he says.

“Andreas, please come down! I have a friend i’d like to introduce you to!”

“Linda, right?”

“Y-Yeah. But um,....please come down.”

“Why? She introduced herself already and knows who I am, why bother?”

The two stared into each others eyes a little seriously before Andreas gave a big sigh, and decided to come down from the roof quite dangerously.

Does he not even care if he breaks a leg coming down so rashly?!

“Hello.” he greets as he approaches.

“Andreas, would you mind if you hung out with us today? Linda’s like me, doesn't have very many friends. So I was wondering if you two could….”

“Ryan. you know I don’t enjoy making friends.”

“I-I know, im sorry….”

Ryan dunks his head down low almost as if he was afraid he’d get a beating.

Andreas thus places a hand onto Ryan’s head and begins to ruffle his hair.

“H-Huh?” Ryan gasped.

“Do you really think i'm going to hit you? You must be stupid!”

“S-Sorry…” Apologies Ryan, feeling a bit bad now.

“You know….its cool. I wouldn’t mind giving this a try. I mean, your friends with Ryan, right?”

“Yes…”

….

“Ok. If I like you, I guess we could be friends. But only if I end up liking you though.”

What the heck does that even mean!?

But ever since that day, I had been friends with both Ryan and Andreas.

Andreas can seem a bit cold but has a kind and warm side of him as well. But the most you’ll ever see that side of him was when he was with his father and little sister though.

Andreas’s father was part of the Garrison. He was a kind of man most people would look up to. Andreas at least, looked up to his father very much. He admired him.

Often his father would even take him with during his job, whether it was simply guarding certain spots in town or if it was guarding on top the walls.

Whenever I caught both Andreas and his little sister together, Andreas could be seen bragging how he would become a very cool Garrison soldier like their father was. His little sister hearing this from her big brother made her happy and smile. She wanted the best for her brother. And more than anything, she wanted him to be happy. But one day…
