The familiar red head stood at the Swift-Kelce door, what was she doing here.

"Are you going to let me in?" The red head asked who was still stood on the doorstep

"Why are you here?" Amerie asked

"I miss you... I got adopted by a family here, I thought I'd stop by and tell you I'm sorry. Things were hard, and I didn't want to tell you that a family wanted to adopt me, so I decided to lie. I still love you, I'm crazy for you, I get it if you don't like me anymore, but can atleast come in and talk it's getting a little cold out here." Alice confessed

"Sure..." Amerie nodded how did she even find this house

"How did you find me.. you've never been to this house." Amerie asked

"I never unadded you on Snapchat and I accidentally clicked onto snap map and saw we were in the same area, my house is only a couple blocks down, so I thought I'd visit. Security remembered who I am, and let me in." Alice said

"Oh, sorry it's just been a lot for me" Amerie sighed

"Yeah I saw the news. Which is also why I wanted to check on you." Alice smiled

"Thank you, that means a lot" Amerie smiled

Taylor walked downstairs and gasped, she had not seen the girl for ages.

"Are you two getting back together. Good for you! You two are goals!! Gotta go tell Sabrina and Gracie about this! Oh and Selena and Blake, this is such exciting news!" Taylor said scrambling for her phone.

"Mom! We're not back together, she's just visiting." Amerie groaned

"But are you two going to get back together..? Because you were totes goals." Taylor asked

"I don't know.." Amerie shrugged

"I still love you Amerie, but I get it if you don't want to give it another shot. Maybe we can just be friends, or slow burn." Alice said

"You've been watching too many Chenford edits." Amerie chuckled

"Well I'm depressed and they cheer me up" Alice shrugged

"You're depressed yet chenford edits are depressing?" Amerie asked

"They fuel my depression, but I'm addicted and can't stop watching them" Alice chuckled

"I actually missed you." Amerie smiled

"Me too Ams" Alice smiled

"Aww you two are making me cry, its like watching a movie" Taylor said eating a bowl of popcorn

"Where did the popcorn come from, we never have popcorn" Amerie asked pulling a confused face

"Oh my secret stash of popcorn, for moments like these. Oh my god song idea!! Cya, you know where to find me" Taylor said dashing to the music room

"Well a masterpiece is about to be created and I fear we are the story behind this song. Or my mom has some random idea to write a song about popcorn." Amerie chuckled

"That would be a random song." Alice giggled

"Erm so what do you want to do" Amerie asked

"Can I see your room?" Alice asked

"Sure! I also think the cats are around somewhere, Angelous might be on my bed" Amerie said

The two teens walked up the stairs and down a corridor, turning into a white painted room decorated with navy blue accessories and decorations

"Navy blue, why wasn't a surprised. And a lot of sharks. You Amerie Swift have not changed a bit since I last saw you." Alice chuckled

"Maybe, have you changed? Not in a mean way, but are you different. Any new interests?" Amerie asked

"I don't listen to your mom's music anymore. It made me think of you, which made me cry even more to the sad songs even the happy ones. So I just stopped. Right now I'm really into Renee Rapp and Chappell Roan." Alice said

"You have good taste." Amerie nodded

"You got to meet Chappell, on the SNL New Years special. That was super cool!" Alice smiled

"It was. I could get her to dm you, we talk sometimes. She always sends me weird tiktoks and asks me how I am, she's honestly so sweet." Amerie said

"You don't have to. Thank you for offering though." Alice smiled

"You cut your hair." Amerie pointed out

"Yeah, my social worker made me. Said it will make me look presentable. You got bangs, they're cute, messy but cute. You look like your mom." Alice chuckled

"Thank you" Amerie smiled.

Both girls cheeks blushed, Alice leaned in closer, till her lips touched Amerie's.

Alice pulled back, "shit I'm so sorry." Alice sighed.

"No, it's okay. Erm I kinda liked it" Amerie blushed going back to kiss Alice.

"Good, I like it too." Alice blushed

Darkness still lurked, this was just a happy moment to slow the process, nothing is darkness straight away. It always hits when least expected when you think you're happy, but nothing is all sunshine and rainbows and definitely not for Amerie.
