Chapter 40

Alexis POV

I woke up this morning to the bell ringing off the hook, I already had a headache from crying myself to sleep and this was not helping it.

"Chriss" I whined and pulled the pillow over my head

"Just ignore it" he said pulling the covers off of me and turning the opposite way. The ringing just kept going and I sucked my teeth and got up. I threw my pilliow at his head before pushing my feet into his adidas slippers and walking out the door.

I got to the door and swung it open trying to wipe some of the sleep that was still in my eyes.

"Lexis?" she asked looking at me funny, I looked down at my ensemble and I couldn't blame her, I was in her boyfriends house in only some boy shorts and a big white tee.

"Hi Diamond" I said stepping to the side and letting her in "before you say anything, I just spent the night here because I found out that Ty cheated on me" I said closing the door and walking to the living room. I'm surprised that I didnt let any tears fall when I said that, I guess I cried myself out last night.

I heard her gasp then run up and pull me into a hug before I could sit down.

"Oh my god lex, are you okay? What did you do? Did you handle his ass cause you know I would of handled his ass" she said in a hard voice but I could see the concern in her eyes.

"Dia, I'm fine.. I mean at first I wasnt, I'm still kind of heartbroken. No. I am completely heart broken but I guess this is how it ends and no" I said pausing to laugh "I didnt handle his ass, it's not worth it"

She shook her head in agreement "I dont want to pry everything out of you but do you atleast know who the bitch was?"

I gave her a look "you know you want to pry,so stop frontin. But... it was that hoe Charity" I gritted out her name and I could feel my blood pressure begin to rise. Diamond let out another gasp, I been told her about Charity and everything that went down in NY.

"That's cray,out of all these celebs she chooses to mess with Tyga? That hoe knew you guys had a family and everything" Dia said rolling her eyes "I dont know how she looks, but when I see her Ima beat her ass just for you". I laughed and pulled her into a hug

"Where's my baby Dyl?" she asked when I pulled away from the hug. I looked at the clock and it read 10:15. "I gotta go get him now, he's not staying there with Ty. No fucking way".

"You not letting him see him?" she asked getting up with me.

"Nah, he can see him whenever he wants but he's not staying in that house with that cheater".

"Who a cheater?" I look behind me to see Chris coming down the stairs yawning, I ignored him and turned back to Dia.

"You want to come with me to get Dyl?"

"Yeah" she said then walked over to Chris kissing his cheek. I smiled at the sight of them.

"Okay lemme go change before yall end up fucking" Diamond laughed and Chris just looked at me and winked.

I pulled up to the house with Diamond, she left her car back at Chris' so we just took mine. When I got out the car I noticed a black acura parked out front, I looked at Dia and she had the same expression on her face as me, I just brushed it off and we continued up to the house.

I used my key to open the door and walked in, I walked past the living room to go up the stairs but walked back when something caught my eye.

"mama" he smiled at me and I walked into the room picking him up. Ty did not have my baby down here watching himself I thought. I handed him to Diamond and gave her my keys telling her I'll meet her in the car. I walked up the stairs and went straight into the nursery and packed up all of Dyl's clothes, diapers,shoes, and wipes in this CBE duffle bag that Chris gave me. I was looking around for his toys but none were in sight.

I walked into what used to be our bedroom and wasnt suprised at the sight that I saw.

"L-lex, what you doing here?" he asked walking towards me but I put my hand up signaling for him to stop. He had that bitch here while my son was down there unattended?

I walked past him and took a glance at her, she was trying to hide her face but it was no use, I can spot that fake weave from a mile away. I finally saw Dyl's toy chest and picked it up by the handle pulling it behind me.

"It's not what you think, we were-" I cut him off because I did not have time for whatever bullshit excuse that was about to come out of his mouth.

"It doesnt matter to me, we're not together remember?" A smile made its way on my face as I saw the hurt fill up his eyes. I walked around him and was one foot out the door when he said something that made me turn around.

"You need money? I dont want yall out in the streets". I had to let out a big laugh when he said that, she looked up at me and I turned my attention back to him.

"I, no we, dont need shit from you. I make my own money and I can take care of us.. don't call me or text me unless it has something to do with Dylan aight?" I picked up back the handle and continued walking out the door "Oh, and Ty?"

"Yes" he asked with pain obviously in his voice

"I hope she was worth it".

One week later

We were still staying with Chris, and by we I mean Dyl and I. We were only going to be here for a few more days since I found us a nice three bedroom condo with a beautiful view of L.A. Chris wanted us to stay but I didnt think that was a good idea, Diamond's my homegirl and I know it hurt her coming over to the house and seeing us all looking like a family and shit, plus I didnt need Chris to help me, I was independent and could do good for my son and I. The song that Rih did is TOPPING the charts, it's been at #1 for at least two weeks now and it's not falling off anytime soon. Somehow, word got out about Ty and I and I dont know how. I've been seeing pics of him and that hoe walking around L.A. all hugged up and at first it made me sick to my stomach, but I dont give a fuck anymore.. it just shows how much he "loved" me.

My phone rang breaking me out of my thoughts and of course it had to be him calling.

"Yes" I said picking up my phone on the second ring, I didnt mean to sound rude. Fuck it, I did want to sound rude.

"I'm coming to get Dyl" he said then hung up. I rolled my eyes and got up off the couch, I would of called him back and cursed him out telling him no, but I needed to go to the studio today and I wasnt going to turn Chris into a babysitter.

"Chris!" I yelled walking up the stairs

"I'm in your room!" he yelled back. I got to the room and let out a laugh at what I saw, Chris was still destined to teach Dyl how to sing and they were on the T-pain Microphone.

"yeeeeaaaaaaah" Chris sang into the mic and the recording came out sounded nasty as hell.

"Eww, throw that shit away right now" I laughed then picked up Dyl who was smiling with the other microphone in his hand.

"Where you going with him?" Chris asked getting up. I smiled because Chris really thought he was my son's dad.

"Ty coming to get him" I said walking over to Dyl's stuff and picking out something for him to wear.

"Oh... can I dress him?"

I laughed "sure, you gotta bathe him first though".

"I got you" he said taking Dyl from me and walking out the room.

20 minutes later my baby walked out the room looking swagged out like a L.A. boy.

"Chris, you dressed him like you would dress yourself" I said laughing at how Chris turned Dyl's black LK snapback backwards

"He looks dope, gonn be baggin all the bad two years olds" he said laughing. I rolled my eyes and was about to say something when the doorbell rang. I sighed and picked up Dyl's bag and made my way down the stairs with Chris following behind me with Dyl.

I opened the door and held in my laugh as I saw her standing there with him. I thought you were suppose to upgrade from your ex?

"Waddup man" Chris said giving Ty a headnod then handing Dyl over to him.

"Chillin" Chris nodded then went back into the house.

"I packed everything that he might need.. how long you keeping him for?"

"I'll bring him back tomorrow morning" he said looking me in the eyes. I nodded then handed him Dyl's bag.

"Bye baby, be good for your dad" I said kissing his cheek and waiting for him to kiss mine back. After he did I watched them walk to his ferrari and buckled Dyl into the car seat before pulling off and beeping.

"Okay I got to get ready, going to the studio" I said walking into the living room getting Chris' attention.

"Which one?"

"uhhh, L.A. sounds" I said looking down at my nails. He smiled then stood up from his seat

"I'm coming too"

"No Chris, stay home" I said walking past him and going up the stairs until he grabbed my hand.

"I'm bored so I'm coming, aight?" he smiled at me and I reluctantly smiled back too.

"Okay just dont fuck up my zone".

It was Chris, Alicia Keys, Diamond and I in the studio, I wrote a song earlier this week and I wanted her to sing it, her voice would definitely fit this track.

"Okay Alicia" I said giving her a thumbs up as Diamond dropped the beat. I watched as she bumped her head up and down for a few seconds before her beautiful voice filled the room.

She came out and I pulled her into a hug "It was great!" she laughed before pulling away from the hug

"Thank you, but it's your lyrics that are great, I'm really feeling it... you gonn let me put it on my album?" she asked smiling big at me.

"Yes as long as in the title it says "Alicia Keys- Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart (Written by Alexis Moore) and when your people pay me then hell yeah". Diamond and Chris started laughing

"You know it Alexis, and thank you thank you!" she pulled me into a hug "I got to go though, Egypt and I have mommy day". I smiled "Aww tell my boyfriend I said wassup"

"As long as you tell Dylan the same" I laughed and she got her stuff and left the room.

"Lex that song is really dope, it's gonn do better than the song you wrote for Rih" Diamond said unplugging her Beats from the laptop

"Thanks and I think so too, this song... I wasnt the happiest when I wrote it but I think alot of females are going to relate to it".

She nodded her head "Well I have a client coming in soon, so you guys might want to I dont know.. get the fuck out" she said then spun back around in her chair.

"Sheesh, she become a producer and dont know how to act" Chris said then walked out the room.

"I love you too!" she yelled out. I laughed "Even though you kicking me out, I still love you" I kissed her cheek then ran out the room to go meet up with Chris.

Chris POV

I looked over at Alexis who was on my laptop just scrolling down her T|L stopping occasionally to read a tweet. I didnt want my feelings for her to come back but they did. I have Diamond and yeah she makes me happy but I love Alexis. Yes, love. I never felt this way about a girl and we werent even together! Aint that some shit? When Tyga cheated on her I was livid, I didnt want to hurt him but I wanted to just... I dont know. I just didnt like the fact that he tore her down. I needed these feelings to go away and quick because I didnt want to hurt Diamond especially since she told me about her past.

"Stop staring, shit" she said keeping her eyes glues to the screen.

"Obviously you were looking at me to know that I was looking at you" I said stretching out on the couch making my feet poke her thighs.

"One, take your nasty ass toes off of me and two, I felt your eyes burning into my skull" she said looking at me now. I just stared at her studying her features, she really was beautiful. She didnt even have to try, she sat here in some Spongebob boxers and a blue tank and she could still kill all these hoes.

"Hello, you staring again" she said snapping her fingers. I laughed and quickly looked away, I could feel my cheeks burning. Now she got me blushing? Nah.

She started laughing and I looked over at her

"What's so funny?"

"Nothing, you're just cute when you blush" she said smiling at me. I looked away again. shit.

"I wasnt blushing, fuck I look like?"

"Oh okay Chris, so you were born with red cheeks? I never knew". I laughed and started tickling her sides with my feet.

"Stooooop" she called out trying to get up but I wrapped both my legs around her waist and sat up taking the laptop from her hands and setting it on the floor.

"Chrissssss stttt" she couldnt even get it out because I was tickling her so hand that she had tears coming down her cheeks.

"I said stop!" she caught her breath and slapped me on my chest. I twisted my face up and a smile spread on hers.

"You should of never done that" I said shaking my head.

"I must look pussy" she said "what you go-"

I flipped us around so that she was lying on the chair and I got on top of her pinning her hands above her head.

"You are pussy, now say sorry" I said smiling down at her

"Fuck you now get your heavy ass up" she said squirming under me. She shouldn't have done that because the front of her bra was now slightly revealed and I was turned on.

I stared down at her and licked my lips before leaning in, I kept steady eye contact with her. Right when my lips brushed against hers my phone started ringing.

"shit" I said then quickly jumped off her reaching for it on the coffee table.
