"Are you ready?" Julie asked me with a look of upmost adoration on her face. Her hand was outstretched for me to take which made me bite down on my lower lip in thought.
"I-I am so scared" I breathed full of nerves; the very thought of people watching me intently once the big double doors opened and the soft, melodic music playing as I walked down the aisle made sickness shudder my body.
"Darling you've been waiting to marry my son for a very long time. You can do this" she informed with care. "Besides. Evan most likely feels the pressure right now with everyone staring at him"
I chuckled, the thought of Evan in a state of panic with eyes burning into his soul amused me, he was a celebrity and anyone would think he would be accustomed to the attention. Apparently not.
The dress I wore was beautiful; it had small amounts of lace throughout the long trail and up to the top where my mesh sleeves were. It had a cut in the middle of my chest that mesh also covered to make it more modest whilst the skirt puffed out and enhanced the smallness of my waist.
Gingerly I took a strand of my hair between my fingers, admiring the perfected curl. "Are you sure I'm the right woman for Evan?" I asked just above a whisper which made Julie raise her eyebrows in confusion.
"My dear, if I thought for any second you weren't right for my boy then I would of told you straight. You love him, you're the mother of his children and he loves you just as much" Julie reassured.
Smiling at her kind words I took ahold of her hand in which I then moved to loop my arm with hers. "There we go. Come on my sweet girl"
Ember was wearing a lilac dress with a white ribbon bow around her waist and her golden flecked hair was pulled into tight, ringlet curls. "Do I go out now?" She asked with an excitable look.
I crouched down and kissed her cheek "yes it's your time to shine my darling. Make sure you throw as many flowers as you can" which made her eyes light up. Ember loved creating a mess.
"Sure mommy" she responded chirpily. Ember then exited the doors and began walking down, scattering the flowers to her hearts content.
I took a deep breath of air in as Ember sat down at the front, now done with her duties. Instantly my ears were filled with music; a harp played effortlessly that made tears prick at my eyes. Evan turned around and as soon as he did I saw him clasp a hand over his mouth.
The venue was out of this world; Evan truly did choose perfectly. The decor was floral with flowers and vines wrapped around tall posts with white rose petals covered the floor. I clutched my bouquet into my chest to try and suppress the uncomfortable feeling lingering inside of me. I was thankful we made it a smaller wedding than most with only close friends and family attending otherwise I couldn't imagine how I would of felt.
"You're just... spectacular" Evan stated with tearful eyes. His hands instantly grabbing mine. Evan wore a black tux with matching dress pants a white shirt and lilac tie. His hair was styled with a few curls spread across his forehead.
"And.. you're breathtaking" I complimented back, my eyes looking at him with my heart pounding against my chest. This made Evan smile with his eyes watering further "I'm so goddamn lucky"
I squeezed his hands tighter "me too. I'm ever so lucky to have you"
The minister giving us away looked at us both with a heartfelt look. "We are here today to bring two people together. Mr Evan Peters and Miss Maeve Elsher"
The rows of people began to wipe their tearful eyes and watch upon us in 'awe'. I couldn't believe it was finally happening, I was marrying the love of my life.
After what felt like an eternity we spoke our vows, exchanged rings and now the minister was about to say the magic words we had been hoping to hear all day.
"You may kiss the bride" He sung which made me and Evan grin at one another.
Evan caressed my cheek, whilst his other hand moved a piece of my hair behind my ear. "Forever Maeve. That is my promise to you" he whispered which made me cry lightly. I wasn't sure why I had been so nervous when Evan was my safety blanket, my comfort and now my husband.
Evan's lips pressed against mine tenderly which I responded to with my heart pouring out into every movement. The cheers of people erupted around us whilst Ember began to whistle and clap her hands excitedly.
Lucas and Marlee were laying in Dylan's arms and you could tell how fond he was of that. But he put on a smile and congratulated us by shouting "finally my sister isn't a loner"
Rolling my eyes I gave him a bleak look before returning my attention back to Evan who grabbed my hand "let's go get shit faced"
I giggled with a nod "definitely"

"One rum and coke for my lady" Evan told the bartender who was mixing up drinks for people. We decided on an open bar at our venue which seemed to suit us well. The reception venue was in a big, thatched barn with disco lights blaring down from the ceilings. A DJ was playing loud music which everyone was loving as they danced around and the atmosphere just felt right.
"Thank you" he told the bartender, his hand outstretched with my freshly made drink. Nodding my head in thanks I began to drink the alcohol, a warmth instantly surrounding my body.
"So my beautiful wife. Are you happy that you trusted me?" Evan said with a toothy grin. Blushing I nodded "you made me doubt you at times but sure, I am very happy I trusted you"
Pressing my toes into my heels for leverage I tippy toed to meet Evan's lips, planting a passionate kiss on him that made him melt into me. "Guess what?" He hummed in my ear which sent goosebumps across my skin.
"I get to push you against walls again" he grinned with amusement, seeing my face blush profusely. "Evan- you're really going to dirty talk right now?"
Evan shrugged "it's our wedding. I don't give a single fuck"
I teased my hand up his chest with doe like eyes "then I suggest you keep your mouth shut otherwise we will have to go home now"
Evan raised an eyebrow "I'll contemplate that"
Grinning we went onto the dance floor and began pulling out all the moves we had; Evan was doing some weird 'cutting shapes' type of dance whilst I did my casual swinging of my hips.
"Okay everyone, time for the first dance" the DJ spoke through the mic which made my stomach do flips.
Everyone other than us had left the dance floor whilst 'all of me by John legend' played through the speakers.
Evan began to grin and mouth the lyrics "what would I do without your smart mouth? Drawing me in, and you kicking me out"
I swatted his arm playfully as we moved to the music elegantly, Evan's hand rested on the small of my back whilst my arms wrapped around his neck.
"Cause all of me loves all of you, love your curves and all your edges all your perfect imperfections"
Kissing him passionately with my fingers running through his hair I felt utterly peaceful, the way Evan's nose crinkled when he smiled and how his dimples outstretched on his cheeks; the way his hands treated me like I was a China doll-being so delicate with me; it was perfect.
"Give your all to me and I'll give my all to you" I whispered in Evan's ear which made him smile brightly.
Evan twirled me around childishly which made me snatch a look of bemusement towards my handsome man. "You know. There were times I thought you secretly hated me" Evan said out of the blue which made me raise my eyebrow.
"How so?" I quizzed
"The way you always tell me to put the toilet seat down and put away my dirty laundry. You turn into a female version of hulk" he joked.
"Evan, you just hate being treated like an adult" I stated. "but no, even with your dirty laundry and how badly your farts stink I still love you"
Blushing Evan turned his head away "don't say stuff like that. People might hear-
"Evan peters has a stinky arse!" I shouted which made heads snap in our direction. The brunette instantly shadowing his face away from them.
I stuck out my tongue "that backfired didn't it sweetheart?"
Evan came close to my ear and whispered "you'll regret that later princess"
Thickly swallowing I pulled away from him all flustered "I'm going to get a drink" my feet scurrying off as quickly as they would allow. This man would be the death of me.
"I've been wondering when I would get the chance to speak with you" a familiar voice perked up from behind me.
Swiftly turning I saw Henry all dressed up with a chiselled grin on his face. "You make the most beautiful bride"
I gasped and ran over to him, cuddling into his chest in an over exaggerated squeal. "You made it! You Henry made it" I said in disbelief whilst counting my blessings.
"I sure did. I couldn't miss this. No matter how heartbroken you made me"
Frowning at him I felt the familiar emotion of guilt rinse over me. "It wasn't my proudest moment.." I trailed off, instinctively picking at my nails.
Henry shook his head and placed his hands on my shoulders "I was playing. My sarcasm isn't all too apparent. I apologise"
Blushing I chuckled dryly "yeah you definitely should work on it. You had me thinking you were about to pull the pity me card"
Henry crossed his arms "never. I'm just happy for you both. You two were always meant to be" he responded coyly, but deep down he was slightly hurting.
"Care for a drink?"
Henry pondered for a moment "sure. I'll take a cider"
I nodded and ordered him the drink, the drink now in his grasp. "How's things been for you?"
He shrugged "not much. Just acting and getting on with my life. No love interests as of yet"
I clanked my glass against his cider "the right one will come along and sweep you off your feet"
"I'm the man. I want to be sweeping them of their feet" he chuckled "but no, truly I'm not interested in dating right now"
I nodded "I'm sorry again-
"Please stop apologising. I didn't want my visit here to become a mood killer. You have fun, it's your big day and congratulations on the twins"
"Thank you. They are already three months old, can you believe it?" I said with a shocked expression. "They will soon be crawling"
Henry sipped his cider "you deserve this life. Having your family after everything you went through"
"Am I missing something?" Evan strutted over with a falsified look of amusement "It's not meant to be ex's night but rather our night" his voice lingering with jealousy.
I frowned "it's just Henry. We were best friends long before we dated"
Evan wrapped an arm around my waist and attached himself to me "I'll see you around Yeah Henry? Good times"
Henry pressed his lips together and nodded "sure thing. See you around Evan" he then walked off briskly.
"What was that for" I sneered with furrowed eyebrows "you didn't have to be so cold towards him"
Evan shrugged "it's something you can catch up on after tonight. Let me enjoy you" he grumbled into my neck as he peppered kisses. I could tell he was getting drunk from the way his words began to slur and his hands lingered on my waist.
"Let's go home. You're drunk" I began to peel him off me and pull him towards the exit. "Besides I thought you wanted to make me regret what I said earlier? Can't be doing that when you're too drunk to stand"
Evan nibbled his lips in thought "you're right. Let's get your ass home"
