Chapter 3

Arriving at the eye of Zaun Ekko walks over the debris finding dead Shimmer beasts under the purple lights which still glow. Seeing a steel beam with Vi and Powder's names on it he feels a certain sad feeling. As he walks through the cavern multiple hooded figures lay in corners hiding from Ekko. He arrives at the small hut, and a freakish creature appears. Before they can say anything Ekko places down a Enforcer helmet, "Shimmer has destroyed her body." The creature makes a growling noise before walking back into her hut.Walking back she places down a small glass filled with a green liquid. Taking the Helmet she leaves the potion out as the door closes, Ekko grabs the potion holding onto it as he jumps onto his board flying out of the cavern. Arriving back at his apartment he hears gowning from his room. Jinx laid on the back of the bed coughing up Shimmer all over herself. Ekko quickly ran to her side pouring the potion into her mouth.Jinx tried spitting it out but Ekko pushed on her jaw, as she swallowed the potion she began twitching before jumping up screaming before Ekko quickly wrapped his arms around her calming her down. Jinx was still not completely there due to the syringe Ekko stuck her with. She sat there, her vision blurry, the purple in her veins began disappearing as her skin began turning back to its usual color. Through her nausea Jinx recognized Ekko swinging at him, cracking one good hit in his nose. She tried backing up from him as she swung but was too dizzy to do anything. Ekko grabbed her by her shoulders forcefully pressing her into the pillows on the bed, as she tried to get out of it the more she tired herself out. He continued this until she fell asleep in his arms. HE then took some extra clothes and changed her clothes. Without looking managed to take off her destroyed clothes, replacing them with a T-shirt and some sweatpants. Ekko stood up, grabbing the covers and dragging them over her. Taking the rest of her clothes Ekko walked into the bathroom coming out in sweatpants. Laying down on the other side of the bed he looked over at Jinx, "Please don't kill me in my sleep." before falling away into his dreams. At 3 AM, Jinx shoots up a worried look on her face. Looking around it was complete darkness, she couldn't see. All that she knew was that Ekko kidnapped her. His eyes eventually adjusted to the darkness seeing Ekko lay next to her. After seeing that she wasn't in danger Jinx cooled down a bit. Looking at her arms she saw that her veins weren't purple and her body wasn't hurting anymore besides her stomach which craved food. Jinx turned herself, stepping out of bed. AS the warm carpet intertwined with her toes he looked down realizing she wasn't wearing what she had on. Look over at Ekko, "Creep" She whispered in a joking manner before standing up and walking out the bedroom door. Walking into the living room she looked around before stepping into the kitchen. The cold hard tiled floor made her jump but she eventually got used to it. Opening Ekko's fridge Jinx looked through it grabbing some grapes, she then walked over to the couch sitting down with a bowl of grapes. Placing her feet on the coffee table she stretched out before eating her grapes while admiring the apartment. As she finished she placed the bowl on the coffee table walking back into the bedroom. Laying back down under the covers she noticed Ekko was facing her in a fetal position. Jinx shrugged, backing herself into Ekko's arms as he unknowingly cuddled with her, falling asleep in Ekko's arms Jinx had a smile on her face the whole night.
