Chapter 26: Another redhead, and she's gonna get it

Third Person's POV

"Sh*t stop pushing so hard!"

"Oh shut up. You can't stretch properly if you don't go all the way!"

"You're breaking my spine you damn donkey!"

Pollux then proceed to look at her with confusion which she returned with a tired demeanor.

"You won't understand the joke. You're a boomer."

"Excuse you, I'm way past that."

"Caveman. Caveman was the right word."

"Shuuuush. Stop grumbling and get up. You still have to go to the Hokage building to talk to Tsunade."

"Hai hai...nnnghhhh!!!"

Akali yawned and stretched for the last time, feeling her limbs all loose and flexible. It's been three days of her laying around and resting, so it was about damn time that she get up, level up, and plan what's to come. And hey, at least now she wasn't alone to plan it all.

"Here. Go change in that bathroom."

"You went in the apartment? Do you have takoyaki?"

"Duh. Eat after you take a bath."

Just like a mother scolding his, and yes I mean HIS child, Pollux ushered Akali inside the bathroom and closed the door shut. Not more than five minutes, Akali emerged fully clothed but has heavy wet hair, but alas, she didn't mind as she quickly jumped on the hospital bed Indian style, grabbed the one dozen takoyaki and ate away.

Pollux sighed, magically whipping out 2 in 1 comb that is also a blow dryer, and combed her hair while she ate.

"You are one irresponsible child. You'll get a cold like this."

He said with the click of his tongue whole his fingers went through Akali's hair.

"So long. Haven't you had a haircut?"

"Not since I was spawned here. Should I?"

"Nope. Keep it long. Just get a trim, your hair looks wild."

"Yeah yeah."

Akali gulped the last of her takoyaki and turned around, seeing her locks of hair straight and shining after what Pollux did.

"Wow. Thanks Mama Pollux."

"I'd rather be called Daddy thank you. Now tie your blindfold and let's get out of here."

"Okaaaayyyyyy."

Just as Akali and Pollux were about to leave, a faint knock on the door prevented them from doing so.

"I'll get it."

"You wanna show yourself? Not that I have problems with it...."

"Well yeah! Treat it like a celebration for getting 1/8 of my power back."

"....way to brag."

"Yeah yeah yeah now shush."

Pollux smirked his usual sharky grin and opened the door, only to be greeted by;

"It's him! That's the guy!"

Shouted Yuzuri, along with her is Akali's team. The shark God's red eyes wandered from person to person, his unreadable gaze staying longer at Suzaku who didn't hesitate to stare, or should I say glare, back.

"Who are you and where is Akali?"

"Yeah! Bring her back to us!" Shouted Jhin.

"Brat! Your annoying team is hereee"

Dragged Pollux out as he opened the door wide open for her team to see Akali. Akali was wearing a loose black tank top and her hitai-ate hung on her neck, so all of her gills are exposed. Tsunade prescribed to swim more than 3 times a week and let her gills loose so that she won't have a hard time breathing, and here she is, greeting them with closed eyes.

"Where were you?! Sensei was worried sick you know!!"

Jhin shouted and was the first one to talk to her, shaking the white haired girl while holding both her shoulders.

"Gomen. I was kidnapped, I really couldn't do anything about it.''

"What?! Who will kidnap you?! Are you lying.....?"

"Haha....yeah you got me. I was only training inside the forest of death and was over fatigued that's why I ended up here in the hospital... sorry I worried you."

With furrowed eyebrows and a warm smile, Akali opened her arms wide to Jhin who slowly accepted the hug.....blushing heavily underneath Akali who only chuckled.

"Are you sure you're alright? I can't have you getting lost for almost a month again! Hear me?!"

"Yeah yeah old man."

"I'm only 26!"

"Yeah and you're already married!"

After staring at each other for a couple of seconds, the three along with Yuzuri bursted out of laughter. Pollux rolled his eyes on the other side of the room.

"Hm....still no Juichiro huh?"

"Actually....."

"Before anything and everything else, who the hell is that guy?"

Suzaku questioned Akali that made her sweat bullets. What will she say?

"I'm her boyfriend"

"WHAT?!"

Everyone was dumbfounded, Pollux savored their shocked expressions, and Akali was massaging the bridge of her nose in utter disappointment.

"What are you thinking Akali?! He looks like he's 6 years older than you!"

"B-but...but then I-"

"I absolutely cannot approve of that!!"

"Relax! Relax okay! He's my.....friend. A Godly friend."

"Wait what? You're not the type to make friends!"

"Wow. That's a nice compliment Suzaku. Very thoughtful."

"Okay tell us the truth Akali. Who is he?"

The white haired girl already looked tired, and it's not even the end of the day yet. Pollux just laughed at her misery. So she just told everything that happened on that unfaithful day.

~A few minutes later~

"So you're telling me.......that he's some kind of a summoning animal?"

"Yep."

"Why does he look human?"

"He likes putting me in misery due to the unnecessary questions you just asked. And he likes eating you're fears too."

"All this time you were hiding him from us?"

"Explaining is troublesome and you guys ask way too many questions."

"Does anyone else know about him?"

"Asuma knows. He wants to interrogate Akali actually."

"Ugh......why would- you know what nevermind. Can you take care of that for me Suzaku?"

"Nope. Say the magic word~"

"Take care of it or I'll send Miria-nee your diary."

"Okay okay! I'm on it."

And then the purple haired jonin left with a nervous laugh.

"His soon to be wife will be in shock of she finds out."

"Ugh."

Akali was combing her hair with her fingers again, clearly thinking about something that also made her pace back and forth.

"Can...."

"Yeah you can. I'll go out and let Juichiro in. Come with me Pollux-sama."

"I already like this kid! He knows exactly how to call me. Toodles Akali."

With a mocking flying kiss, he left with Jhin. Now letting Juichiro and Miria inside.

"Hello Akali-chan. You feeling good?"

"Yep. Strong as ever Miria-nee."

"I heard about everything. So what's this about Susu's diary?"

Miria asked the moment they entered, immediately giving a lighthearted vibe in the heavily-tensioned room.

"You should definitely look at it. But you should wash your eyes with boiling holy water afterwards. Everything in there are either cringe or cursed."

Akali responded with a chuckle as her gaze wandered upon Juichiro, who looked so thin....but at the same time, he looked like he gained a little muscle.

'Analysis'

Akali frowned. Though he did get stronger, his state was a bit concerning to her so she moved to the other side of the bed, tapped her side and gave him a warm smile.

"I'll leave you two for now. Fix things, okay Akali?"

"I will Miria-nee."

The black haired woman gave a faint smile before closing the door as she left.

"Ah....are you still mad at me, Juichiro?"

She carefully asked as the red haired male sat beside her on the hospital bed.

"I.....I was never mad at you Akali-chan. I was mad at myself....mad that I'm always so weak that I can't even protect myself without you."

The soft red head hugged his knees and sniveling, he talked. Akali's heart clenched with the reason why he avoided him. She too, experienced uselessness and despair once.

"I understand. Hey, you look a lot more stronger now. I'm not lying."

"Thank you..."

Then, awkward silence. The white haired girl knows something was up. She knows he still wasn't telling the whole truth to her. That's why she must ask, or she will never have the chance to again.

"What happened that time?......did they hurt you?"

Juichiro shook his head violently, slightly shaking in the tight ball he secured himself with.

"N-no....."

Akali frowned again.

"Come on.....look at me."

"I can't say sorry properly if you don't tell me...."

Akali said to Juichiro with open eyes. Her hand caressing the sides of his face whilst her thumb traced the outline of his eye, wiping the tears that flowed down his cheeks. This seems to trigger something inside Juichiro that he suddenly bursted into tears. He lunged at Akali and hugged her tight, as if he was afraid that she was going to leave again.

"T-those goons from the chunnin exams......they...touched me....! I.....I feel so dirty Akali........."

He said and sobbed loudly, his cries echoing inside the eerily quiet room.

"I see. That's why you wanted to get stronger? To fight them off?"

"*sniff* I.....just want to be able to protect myself.....I don't want to experience that again."

The pools of shining blue eyes darkened. Like a storm brewing in an ocean, so dark that the clouds make the crystal blue waters go black. Akali was livid. She knows revenge was such a foolish thought, but at that time? The only thing consuming her head was the dead body of those who wronged Juichiro. She needs to see their guts spill out of their corpses.

"I'm glad you're alright Juichiro. I'm glad I was early to save you. But don't do it again okay? You'll give me anxiety."

She chuckled and hugged Juichiro tight.

"Although......I have some bad news. Are you calm now?"

"Yes...."

Sniffed Juichiro that broke out of the hug and sat properly.

"I'm leaving Konoha."

".....what? Why?! Is it-"

"Let me finish. There's...some things back at my hometown that I found out. A lead to my relatives. I hope you understand."

Frowned Akali. Juichiro nodded and hugged her again, whispering to her.

"I understand. Visit us often......and...can you do me one last favor?"

"Sure. Anything."

Juichiro's demeanor went serious as he uttered the words;

"Kiss me."

[Akali.exe has stopped working. Cooling down........]

"D-did I shock you? I- I mean I know it's sudden but- ah shouldn't I have said that? Is lips to lips not fine?! Ah sorry!"

"No....it's fine. *sigh* you're brother will be mad at you."

"Well.....you can kiss him too."

The white haired girl chuckled at the unusual bratty attitude of the soft red head, but she said none and held his chin.

Juichiro closed his eyes in anticipation and nervousness as Akali's face grew closer and closer. Her eyes were half lidded as her lips finally landed onto his. It's not like she haven't kissed before, so she skillfully melded her lips onto his, licking his bottom lip and nipping on it softly.

Her actions made Juichiro open his eyes wide open as he let out a yelp of surprise, opening his mouth that Akali immediately dived onto.

Her tongue played with his own, swirling it like she was licking ice cream, as she finally sealed the kiss with a quick peck.

Juichiro blushed HARD. He had never expected for her to actually do it, and she did it anyway! With such.......experience too. His whole body was wobbling still, and he can't even look at his teammate in the eyes! He then buried his face in his palms to hide his "shame". Akali chuckled.

"First time?"

"Y-yeah....."

"How was it?"

"Ah...good...."

Juichiro peeked between his fingers to see Akali looking at him with her infamous sharp-toothed smirk.

'I kinda understand why Jhin is so in love with her now.....she gives of a.......certain vibe.'

"You guys can enter now."

She said to the people waiting outside that now entered, the said people only being Jhin and Pollux.

"Where's Miria-nee?"

"She was gonna do library stuff. Oho? Why is the red head blushing?"

Akali's smirk widened and Juichiro blushed a deeper shade of crimson.

"Ah. What the fuck. I hate that I have a clue.''

"What? So did something actually happen?"

"I-It's nothing! Hahaha! Didn't you have something to do Akali-chan?"

"Oh yeah.....Tsunade."

The white haired girl stood up and was about to leave, when she remembered something.

"Do tell everyone what I told you Juichiro. I'd hate to leave without saying goodbye."

"Huh? Leave where-"

Before Jhin could ask any further, Akali grabbed hold of Juichiro's chin again, landing a soft peck near his lips before leaving with a triumphant smirk.

"Now that, I actually meant to do."

"You gotta stop acting like you're 26. You are 12 for god sakes."

"Yeah. Noted."

The white haired girl chuckled.

~a minute later~

"So....you have questions, Tsunade-hime?"

Akali asked with a curt bow, Pollux scoffing behind her.

'Can you go inside my head now?'

"No. Your head is nasty."

'Suit yourself.'

"I have. But before everything else, start from how you got here."

"I was a gift. Like I said, Udon no Kuni found me in it's borders and I solved a case that involved a lot of civilian lives there."

"And what happened to the culprit?"

"Jailed. Rehabilitated."

"Casualties?"

"None whatsoever. I had a team from Kumogakure who helped me back then to decipher a paper bomb that covered the entrance. Turns out it was only a dud."

"I see. What's the cause of deaths?"

"Poison. I think it was Cyanide?"

"Mhm. So, you're a prodigy."

Tsunade said and leaned her chin on her knuckle, stating it as if she was awaiting for the moment to say what was obvious.

"But not a really popular one aren't you? Now, you said you were from...?"

"My first memories are waking up in the outskirts of Kirigakure."

"Exactly."

The fifth hokage said, taking a long swig from the bottle of sake.

"Such a wild woman."

'You're not so graceful either.'

"I never said I didn't like it."

"I'm not going to sugarcoat my words. If I'm speculating correctly based on the facts you gave me, you, are somewhat related to Kisame Hoshigaki, am I correct?"

"Yes but-"

"That's the problem. Kisame Hoshigaki is already such a treasure in Kirigakure if it weren't for him going rouge. If they find out about you and your connections to him and then link you to Konoha, do you know what would happen?"

Akali shut her mouth, her rebuttal dying in the depths of her throat. She knew what was the answer but she let Tsunade finish her reasoning first.

"There would be an internal war. Aish...I'm not even Hokage for a day and you're already my biggest problem. What was that old man thinking when he accepted you?"

"Don't worry. I'm sure you can-"

"I have a proposal Tsunade-hime."

The blonde sannin snapped out of her semi-drunken state to listen to the white haired girl.

"I'm leaving Konoha."

".....I see. Your reason?"

Akali sighed and combed her hair with her fingers.

"Before Naruto and Jiraiya-san searched for you, I met Kisame Hoshigaki for the first time. I merely had followed Sasuke out of curiosity, but I didn't expect to meet him, let alone him giving me a clue on who I really am."

"He gave me the name of Asuga Yuki. He told me that if I wanted to find her, I need to go back to Kirigakure. That way I wouldn't be a burden to Konoha anymore."

A few seconds more after Akali spoke, there was still the unreadable silence that covered the room like a thick fog.

"It's not like I'm cutting ties with Konoha forever. Shall we make a deal?"

"I'm listening."

"I can be somewhat of a....shadow. For the sake of Konoha's dirty work."

Tsunade raised her brow in amusement.

"I see. That can be useful indeed, but I don't want to burden a kid with such a heavy task."

"Say that to Itachi before they tasked him to kill his own clan-"

"I need you as an informant. Can I trust you to know what Kirigakure has in store for Konoha?"

"I'll do what I can. Thank you for everything Tsunade-sama. I'll leave immediately."

"Don't forget to at least say goodbye to everyone you've made contact with. I don't want to explain anything after you leave."

A forlorn smile appeared on Akali's face as she bowed, dissappearing with a blink of an eye.

"Kid.....are you....are you crying?!"

"Why the h*ll not......I don't want to leave the only village that makes the best takoyaki!!"

[And there goes my hopes for a little compassion.]

"Wow. All you'll miss in Konoha are the takoyakis after all."

''Well....yeah. think of it like this, I'm just a measly side character who got on screen for a couple of times. In Naruto's point of view, I'm just....there. like some kind of automatic robot. I won't actually affect the plot once I leave."

"I see. Then can you erase the memories of you inside their minds to complete your leave?"

"Absolutely not. I'm not cutting ties with a possible strong ally. Naruto has the thickest plot armor since this is his show. I need that armor."

"Ah, right right. Fair point. For a second there I thought you don't want to be lonely or something."

"No one wants to be lonely. Even if someone does, they can't live alone. Ever heared of the saying 'no man is an island'?"

"Yeah yeah hit me with the facts later. For now, let's go get your clothes and everything."

"Hai."

~a couple more minutes~

"You done?"

"Yep. I told Juichiro to tell everyone that I'm leaving. He should be enough."

"Don't you want to say goodbye personally?"

"Don't wanna. I might burst into tears and never leave if I saw TakoYuzuri."

Pollux sweatdropped for the last time and entered Akali's mind. There, he imagined a couch, steaks and a remote as he browsed through Akali's memories like he was searching for a movie to watch in Netflix.

"Go on. I'll chill here."

The white haired girl shook her head with a smirk and at last, she took off from the village of the hidden leaves. Another adventure awaits the young detective once more.

"Wait, this is also the night that Sasuke leaves huh?"

She whispered quietly, hiding behind a thick branch as she watched his oh so dramatic departure.

"Actually, nevermind. I don't want to interfere with this."

She said but her plans were immediately foiled when a hand was slung to her shoulders.

"Oi oi Sasuke! Don't you think it's a bit unfair to be surrounded by girls so much??"

It was Sakon? Ukon? Who ever the two headed guy was, he held onto Akali like he's taking her hostage. Sasuke frowning at the guy's brash attitude.

"Have you come to stop me too, Akali?"

"Hah. Why would I?"

Fueling chakra to the veins in her hand, she gripped the arm that hindered her movements, crushing the bone inside and making the twin headed person scream on the top of their lungs.

Akali took his silence as a yes and let a little bit of his rage slip past her eyes. Although the four felt shivers, they continued on taunting her with their trashtalk.

"You bitch!!!"

Screeched Sakon and was about to lunge at her. Akali didn't move from her spot and awaited his attack, her eyes shining a pale blue hue underneath her black hitai-ate.

"Instead of wasting your time on a person who's not even interested in this...nonsense, why don't you save your energy and fuck off hm?"

"Oho? No censor?"

Her statement seemed to agitate the four even more as the angry two head rushed at her in full speed, and with the heavy intent to kill. Akali jumped and gave him a tornado kick that made his body dent on the floor, but without blood.

"I still having put chakra there though........I guess basic attack deals heavy damage too huh."

Next was the fat one, she forgot the name. Not learning from his teammate's past mistake, he also shot towards Akali, but the girl counter attacked him with her foot on his neck, that also made him drop to the floor.

As if he was a trampoline, Akali jumped at his stomach as a boost to grab hold of the spider looking kid's neck with a chakra filled grip and lastly, she looked at the dark pink, almost red haired Tayuya.

"Like what you see bitch?"

"Yep. Too bad I'm tarnishing it."

Akali said with a smirk and punched Tayuya in the gut, hard enough to make her drop to the floor as well.

[Flirt......50/50. She is now confused about her sexuality.]

Sasuke witnessed the white haired girl annihilate the team that was about to guide him to Orochimaru, without even breaking a sweat. He knew the four didn't give their all, but that's exactly what led their demise as they lay beaten by a single girl.

"Hmph. I see you still held on to the advice I gave you."

Akali smirked and reached behind Sasuke's ear. His whole body tensed as she pulled out the moon card that she gave him when she read his fortune.

"I'm not stopping you from running your life, killing your only family and betraying your homeland, but do remember what I said. Find the whole truth. And maybe, if you discover it early enough, you can still right your wrongs and thank me."

She said and made the card become three, all of which showed his brother's sharingan. Before he could even react, Akali merged them all again into the moon card, tucked it onto his ear again and somehow magically pulling out a purple anemone and giving it to him.

"You do know that that flower means protection from evil right?"

"It also means loosing hope and sinking into darkness. Perfect meaning right?"

"Yes yes that's fine and all but how the fuck can you do that?"

"Magic~"
