Chapter 9: Hello New Roomies!

JYP’s call was very alarming. I have to fix my things fast before the person who’ll help me come. Good thing I’m used to with fixing things neatly but fast.

I’ll be able to be close with 15&. Then suddenly I remembered Yerin. Yerin is a nice person but I think when it comes to Mark, she’s not. Oh but at least Jimin is there. I’ll be able to talk a lot when I’m with her. I wonder what their room look like.

I have finished packing my things and there’s nothing I have left. I just need to wait for the person who is going to fetch me.

I suddenly hear footsteps, it may be that person. Suddenly, someone knocked. I came to open the door.

To my surprise, it was JB.

“Annyeong Rhianne-unnie!” Jimin suddenly came out from JB’s back.

“Oh,” I said.

“JYP told us to accompany you to your new dorm.” JB said.

He surely has a very manly personality. He really is a leader.

“Oh, okay. I’ll be getting my things.”

They entered the room.

“Oh, so you’re living here alone?” Jimin asked.

“No, I have roommates but they transferred into another room. They are going to debut soon.” I said.

I was getting my things when Jimin said something.

“Unnie, who is this? Is he your boyfriend?”

I looked at Jimin and she’s holding my picture together with Baldwin, my classmate. I immediately grabbed it to her.

“Ah, he’s not my boyfriend. He’s my classmate.” I said. Then I hid the picture in my bag.

“You sure? But you look like a couple in that picture.” Jimin said.

“A lot of them told me that we look like a couple but seriously we’re not.” I said.

“But…”

“Jimin, she said he’s not her boyfriend.” JB said. “Let’s get going so you guys can take a rest.”

Jimin made a funny face towards JB. It looks like they are really close. Well, Jimin is very friendly so what would you expect? JB helped me to carry my bag and Jimin held my guitar. I was carrying some stuff too.

“I can see that you like pink.” JB said while we are on our way to my new dorm.

“Oh, yeah. Pink is so refreshing to my eyes that’s why I like it.” I said.

“JB oppa, what do you think? Since Rhianne-unnie is new in our dorm, can we play a game together with GOT7? Let’s have some welcome party for her.” Jimin said.

“Ya, you don’t need to do that.” I said. “I’m nothing special.”

“Everyone is special, in their own way. I’ll tell GOT7 about it.” JB said.

I smiled about what JB said. He knows how to make people smile.

“Yehey!” Jimin exclaimed.

Jimin is like a child and I love it.

“We are near.” Jimin said.

“Ah, by the way, this is our dorm.” JB said. “And that…” while using his mouth to point the other door, “that will be your new room.”

I smiled in excitement. I am going to be in a dorm with idols. I promise I’m going to be one soon.

Jimin opened the door and I saw Yerin there. She smiled at me.

“Welcome, unnie.” Yerin said.

I told you she’s kind. When I entered the room, wow, it’s big for 3 persons. There were also three rooms in here, a sala set and a kitchen.

“Unnie, this will be your room.” Jimin said as she is opening the door of an empty room.

“Thank you Jimin-a.” I entered the room and got my things from JB.

“Thank you very much.” I said.

“Not a problem. So I’ll be asking for GOT7 to go here in your dorm.” JB said.

“Ahm, can boys really enter the girls’ dorm?” I asked.

“Yes. They can. But no boys should sleep in a girl’s dorm and vice versa.”

“Ooh. Okay. Thank you again.” I said.

JB smiled and waved goodbye.

I came inside my room and saw Jimin inside it.

“Is it okay if I help you fix your things?” she smilingly said.

“Are you serious with it?” I asked. She nodded.

“Okay fine.”

She helped me fix my things in the room. The room was a normal size room. There was a bed, a closet, a table with a mirror. It’s a simple room I wanted to have. I just have to clean it and put some decorations on it.

“Oh, it’s Mark?” Jimin said.

When I looked at Jimin, Jimin was holding my clearbook full drawing of Mark’s face.

“Oh, yes. I’m a fan.” I said.

“Really? Yah, you should hide it. Don’t show it to Yerin. She might get mad at you. Haha.” Jimin said jokingly.

“Are Mark and Yerin dating?” I asked.

Jimin shook her head. “They’re not dating. But Yerin really likes Mark.”

I was right.

“Unnie, I’m going to hide it under your pillow.” Jimin said.

“Okay. J” I said.

Minutes later we finished fixing my things. Then Yerin shouted, “Rhianne-unnie, Jimin-a, GOT7 is here.”

“They are there. Let’s go outside unnie.” Jimin said.

I really love this kid.

We went out and immediately saw Mark. I smiled at him.

“Noona!” Yugyeom and Bambam ran to me and hugged me.

“Noona!” Jackson came also jokingly then he hit Bambam and Yugyeom.

“And who told you that you can hug her?” then Jackson hugged me. “Only I can do it.”

“Yah Yah” Jr said. “All of you stop.”

“Yah hyung why are you acting like that? It looks like you’re Rhianne’s boyfriend.” Youngjae said.

“cause I am.” Jr said. Everyone stared at us. I stared at Jr. “Of course, I’m a boy and I’m his friend. Therefore, I’m her boy friend, with space.”

Everyone laughed except for Mark who looks seriously at Jr.

Jackson hit Mark. “It was only a joke. Smile there a bit.”

“So, it seems like everyone is here. So let’s start to play a game? What do you think?” JB said.

“Hyung, what game?” Youngjae asked.

“Since we don’t know each other that much, why don’t we play ‘Truth or Dare’?” Jackson said.

“Oh yeah yeah, good idea. I did not know that you have a mind Jackson.” Jimin said.

“Ya.” Jackson shouted then everybody laughed.

“Do you have a bottle here?” JB asked Yerin.

Yerin nodded and she got a bottle. We then formed a circle so we will be able to play.

“I’m going to turn this first!” Jackson said. “Is everybody ready?” We all nodded.

Jackson turned the bottle and ended up being pointed to Jr. Jackson made his evil laugh.

“Yah, truth or dare?” Jackson asked.

“I choose truth” Jr said.

“Okay. Am I the one who’s going to ask a question?” Jackson said.

“Because you’re the one who turned it, of course it will be you.” Jimin said.

“Yah, I’m just asking, just asking.” Jackson said. “So here it is, with all the people here playing, who do you want to be closer with?”

I saw Jr looked at Yerin but then he looked away immediately. “I’m choosing, Rhianne.”

“I can smell something fishy in here.” Bambam exclaimed.

I looked at Jr and smiled at him and he smiled back.

“Are you sure you two are not dating?” JB asked.

“What? He’s just a friend.” I said.

JB left a teasing smile.

“Yah, it’s my time to turn the bottle.” Jr said.

When he turned the bottle, it pointed to Yerin. Jr looked a little surprised.

“Truth or Dare?” Jackson said.

Yerin think of it first then she answered, “Truth”

“Have you ever loved someone before?” Jr said.

Then there was an awkward silence. It seems like they all wanted to know.

“Before? Not. But I guess now, yes.” Yerin said then she looked at Mark.

I don’t know but I felt something wrong. I saw Jr weakly smiled.

“Oh, is it someone we know?” Jackson asked.

“Yah, you don’t have the right to ask. She already answered one question.” Jr said.

Even though he is in pain, he is still protecting Yerin.

“It’s okay Jr oppa. If you’ll be able to choose me here, you can ask me that question later.” Yerin said.

“Okay fine.” Jackson said pretending he’s mad but smiled after that.

Yerin then turned the bottle. It pointed to Jimin.

“Ooh! I love it. I’m going to take dare if you will say that I will hit Jackson.” Jimin said.

“Yah. You.” Jackson said. “I’ll not.” Yerin said.

“Thank you Yerin.” Jackson said while pretending to hit Jimin.

“Fine. Almost everyone is choosing truth. So I’ll choose dare.” Jimin said.

“Uhm, sing one verse from any song you like.”

“Easy.”

Jimin started to sing If I Ain’t Got You.

I clapped my hands after I heard Jimin sang it.

“Ooh, I heard Rhianne noona sang that too before, when she was walking. I want to hear it again noona, please.” Bambam said.

“Oh really?” Jackson said then he looked at me. “Please… please… please…”

“Yah, it’s not her turn.” Mark said.

“But everyone wants her to sing, right?” Yerin said.

“Okay. I’ll sing.”

Some people live for the fortune

 

Jackson and Bambam immediately clapped. Then the others follow.

Then I stopped and just smiled.

“Oh, noona is really good.” Yugyeom said.

“I want to have a duet with you soon.” Youngjae said.

“I’ll be waiting for that.” I said.

Then we continue the game. It pointed to JB.

Jimin asked JB if he was happy when he debut as a member of GOT7, although they have debuted already as JJ Project.

“Of course I’m happy but scared. JJ Project has debuted before and I think we didn’t make a real change in the industry. If GOT7 will also be like this then I don’t know. But we’re different. I’m so happy I debuted with them.” JB said.

I can see the sincerity in his eyes.

“That’s our leader.” then Jackson clapped.

He then turned the bottle and it pointed to me.

“Truth or Dare?” Jimin asked.

“I’ll choose truth.”

JB was thinking, “Aha! What is your true relationship with that boy in the picture Jimin and I saw earlier?”

I suddenly stopped and smile weakly.

“It seems like she doesn’t want to talk about it. Just change the question JB.” Mark said.

“No it’s fine.” I said.

“What picture is that? Can we see it?” Jr said.

I smiled and went to my room and got the picture.

“That picture.” I said.

“Is it noona’s boyfriend?” Bambam asked.

“He’s Baldwin. He was my classmate before and used to be special to me. But that was in the past.” I said.

“But why still have this picture?” Mark asked.

“Oh, it’s because I still consider him as my friend. It’s not the only picture that I brought here. I have a lot of pictures with my other classmates.” I said.

*ring ring*

 

“Unnie, it seems like your phone is ringing.” Jimin said.

I went to my room to get my phone.

Oh, it’s JYP.

“Hello?”

“Rhianne, are you there already at the dorm?”

“Oh yes.” I said while walking out of the room to go where the others are.

“I’m on my way to the dorms. I’m going to talk to you and 15&.”

“Oh, okay, sir.”

End of conversation.

“Who was that?” Jackson asked.

“It was JYP. He said he’s going to the dorm to talk about something. He’s on his way.” I said.

Jackson immediately rose up. “Games over! Goodnight everyone!”

“Oww. I wasn’t even chosen yet.” Bambam said.

“JYP need to talk to them. Let’s just return on other days.” JB said.

GOT7 started leaving the room. Mark is still with Yerin because Yerin was holding Mark’s arm. Jr suddenly approached me.

“Are you fine with what JB asked?”

“To be honest, I felt something awkward but it is fine. How about you?” I teasingly asked him.

“Yah, stop pretending that you know everything ha.” Jr said while smiling.

“Sorry. But I really know something. Yah, I’ll be your crying shoulder.” I said.

“Me too. Let’s talk about it some other time.” Jr said then he tapped my head.

I suddenly saw Mark looking at us. I just smiled but he just had a poker face and then removed his look from us.

What’s with him?

On a few moments, JYP suddenly came.

“The board and I have talked. We have planned to make a comeback for 15&…”

Jimin and Yerin were so happy.

“…with a new member”
