"There's five to a clip. Let's go." Bellamy instructed me, Raven, Jasper, Monty and Harper, reloading one of the rifles as an example. "We need to get these guns on the wall."

I pulled back the rack, revealing the chamber as I tilted the gun, letting the magazine fall out. As I was loading, Monty questioned Bellamy in confusion, "Why just five?"

"We're running out of gunpowder." Raven answered, doing the same with her rifle as the rest of us.

Harper shook her head with a dry laugh, "Oh, we're so dead."

"Don't worry, I got your back." Jasper reassured with a comforting smile.

Monty scoffed, catching Jasper's attention, "Got something to say?" He snapped at his best friend.

"Hey, guys," I stopped my movement as the both of them turned to me, "stay focused. We're doing good. We need as many rounds done by dawn as we can."

"It won't matter if there's no one left who can shoot." Finn barged into the tent suddenly as we all stopped what we were doing to glance over to him. "What do we need to build a bomb?"

I rose my eyebrows, looking at him in disbelief, "A bomb?"

"Depends on what you're trying to blow up." Raven replied to his question.

Finn looked hesitant before speaking, "How about a bridge?"

"What are you talking about?" Bellamy finally asked the question we were all thinking.

"Murphy says he crossed a bridge on his way back here from the Grounders' camp." He answered, glancing between the five of us, "Sound familiar?"

"Yeah?" Bellamy shrugged, "So what?"

"So the virus is fast. He's already getting better. Blowing the bridge won't stop the attack, but, the longer we can delay it, the more of us will be able to fight." Finn nodded surely.

I chimed in momentarily, "Okay, even if Murphy was telling the truth, that bridge has survived a nuclear war and 97 years of weather."

"It won't survive me." Raven spoke with confidence.

...

"Hey, how's she doing?" I asked Octavia as I entered the dropship, greeted with her standing over Clarke, patting her face with a cold rag.

"I don't know." Octavia sighed, pausing her movements and turning to me, "She fell asleep awhile ago." She glanced around at all the sick campers who were suffering in a fit of bloody coughs, "Murphy said he's feeling better but that took a while."

I nodded, looking over to see the man himself helping the other campers before turning to Octavia, "Do you think he's changed?" I whispered.

Octavia watched him for a brief moment before shrugging, "I don't know. I mean, maybe." She turned to me, "Do you?"

I mirrored her shrug, watching as he gave each individual water, "I'd like to think so. But, considering our history.. I think it's safe to have my guard up."

She nodded before I began to think, "Hey, did Lincoln say anything else about the virus?"

She thought for a moment before speaking, "That it doesn't last long. And there are only few immune. Like us." She nudged my shoulder and I gave a slight smile before sighing.

I tightened my ponytail before crossing my arms, looking over to the entrance of the dropship seeing two campers carrying a weak, hunched over Bellamy.

"Bellamy?" I jogged over in concern, seeing his bloody face and feeling my shoulders slump in disappointment before I spun around, "Clear some space!" I instructed, helping the campers lay Bellamy down softly.

As soon as his back hit the blanket he began to spit up blood before Octavia quickly rushed over, helping me turn him on his side so he didn't choke.

"Oh my god, Bell.." I trailed off sadly.

Once he was done, he laid back onto his back, gasping as his eyes watered in the slightest, "I'm scared." He confessed quietly.

I grabbed his hand as Octavia patted the rag around his face like she did with Clarke.

I shook my head, "I'm not leaving your side, okay? I promise." I whispered, giving him a small smile as he nodded.

"I'm glad you're here." He held my hand before shutting his eyes.

"Just get some rest, Bell." I gave his hand a slight squeeze as his grip became looser as he was beginning to fall asleep.

...

"I'm gonna go get some more water." Octavia announced to Murphy and I, as we were the only ones looking out for the rest out of the sick campers in the dropship.

I nodded as she began to head out, glancing back down to Bellamy, whose side I hadn't left since he fell asleep, just as I promised.

"So," Murphy spoke aloud from a few feet across from me, "you and Bellamy are like- dating now?"

I glanced up at him, hesitant if I wanted to really start a conversation with John Murphy about my relationship with Bellamy. I simply nodded as a response.

Murphy nodded slowly, going quiet for a while until he began to speak again, "And you and Octavia are like.. what, best friends or something?"

I sighed, "Look, a lot happened while you were gone, Murphy. Do you really want me to sit here with you and discuss everything that's happened after you left?" I rose an eyebrow, waiting for his response.

He pressed his lips together, shaking his head at once before it went silent again.

"Okay." I mumbled, taking a deep breath, almost feeling bad for snapping at him.

He took a deep breath, scooting closer slightly, "Look, Claudia, I know we haven't always.. gotten along-"

"Wow, really?" I questioned sarcastically, mentally rolling my eyes at the statement.

He sighed, continuing, "and I know I called you crazy... psycho... and I tried to kill you a couple of times-"

"If this is your way of apologizing, it really sucks." I cut him off again, shaking my head.

He paused, thinking about his words carefully before resuming, "Look, I'm sorry, okay? I am." He shrugged, "You know what they say about bygones."

I was conflicted on whether or not to accept his apology but luckily I didn't have to when Bellamy began to stir, waking up from his sleep.

His eyes wandered over to me, letting a small smile cross his face, "You stayed."

"Of course." I smiled, as he began to sit up slowly.

Murphy came over with a cup of water, offering it to Bellamy, "Here."

Bellamy glanced at the cup, looking up to Murphy before shaking his head, pushing it away from his face as the water spilled over, "Get the hell away from me."

"Bellamy-" I began with a tilt of my head.

"You're sick, okay? I'm just trying to help." Murphy explained.

I looked over at my boyfriend who kept his poker face until a stream of blood began to pour from his nose. I reached over, grabbing a cloth and handing it to him, "Here."

He accepted it, wiping his face, giving Murphy a side eye before turning to me with a nod, "Thanks."

"You need to stay hydrated, Bellamy." I rose an eyebrow at him, glancing down at the cup in Murphy's hand.

It was silent for a moment, as Bellamy still refused it, before Clarke walked over, tapping Murphy's shoulder, "I got this one." She told him.

Murphy nodded with a sigh, handing Clarke the cup before leaving.

Clarke sat down next to Bellamy, handing him the cup with a raised brow, "Drink."

Bellamy accepted it finally, taking a swig.

"You feeling better?" I asked the blonde and she nodded in response. "Good."

"He's just trying to help, you know." Clarke told Bellamy who scoffed with a shake of his head. "Octavia was up all night helping people. Murphy gave her a break."

"Don't tell me you trust him now." Bellamy rolled his eyes.

"Trust?" Clarke rose an eyebrow, "No." She shook her head, "I do believe in second chances, though."

"Hey, it's almost dawn." I told the two, "Better get everyone inside."

Clarke nodded, standing up, "I'll help."

The two of us walked out of the dropship at once, trailing down the ramp as she began to speak, "You're really good for him, you know." She looked over to me.

I turned to her, flashing a small smile, "Thanks." I scratched my head, not knowing if it was my place to speak on the subject I was about to but I decided, screw it, "Hey, I know things are like super complicated with you and Finn- and Raven and stuff.. but it's not everyday you find something like what you guys have, you know? He really cares about you. And I know you care about him."

She was about to speak when the loud eruption of an explosion could be heard from miles away. Clarke and I turned in unison in the direction it came from, seeing huge cloud of grey smoke rise into the air.

"Holy shit," I began, "they did it."
