Chapter 25- i'ts a wonderful day

JACK

Today has just been the best day ever. (I was being sarcastic)Today's the worst.First I wake up late and try to hurry up. I ran to the bathroom but I slipped and fell.

That hurts a lot

I went to eat breakfast but there was none. My little sister who I love soo much (note the sarcasm) ate all of it.

WHY???

I asked her why she ate all my food and she said that it was because I wasted too much time getting ready and she became hungry.

She is soo annoying.

The worst part is my parents didn't even do anything about it.

Anyways, my dad decided to take us to school.

WORST

IDEA

EVER

He just had to get lost. How can one even get lost when you're using GPS.

He kept talking to the GPS lady and she was just saying random things like " Turn left at your nearest junction " Like what the heck is even a junction.At some point she was like " keep heading straight on this road " But there was no road, we were at a turn (probably at a junction (still don't know what that is))That GPS lady needs to be fixed.

Anyways, we made it to my sister's school. Good, cuz she was really annoying throughout the whole ride. She kept telling me to stay quiet cuz I kept asking " are we there yet " " are we lost " " are we gonna die " . Yeah I asked that.My little sis got out of the car and so did my dad. He took her inside while I was left in the car.I contemplated whether or not to call Rusty and tell him that I'm going to show up late to school. But I didn't, Rusty probably doesn't even care.

Anyways, my dad came back into the car and drove off. I don't even know where we're going but at least we're moving.

After what seems to be forever, we got to school.

FINALLY

I got out of the car and said goodbye to my dad. Then walked in.

That's where I am now, in the hallway that is practically empty because everyone is in class right now. I looked at my watch and saw it was still 1st period that means it's physics class. I love physics. It's soo cool cuz you get to learn a lot of things, and you get to understand how a lot of things work. It's great.

Well I stood at the door thinking about what I should say Should I just go in and find a sit so the teacher won't get angry, or should I say something nice or cool.

I walked in and the teacher wasn't there. Good, now I won't get into trouble.

" What a wonderful day it is " I said trying to make the class more happy.

Then Rusty sent me a menacing glare that couldn't be ignored.Why is he glaring at me?What did I do?

I quickly rushed to find a seat. I sat in front of Rusty and Indy.Are they back together?

" What the hell is wrong with you? " Rusty asked. What did I do?I noticed Rusty became a little bit angry. While Indy looked sad.

" What did I do Rusty? " I asked.

" Why the hell would you say something like that? " Rusty asked getting more angry.Say what? Isn't it a wonderful day? Why is it so bad to say that?

" Isn't it a wonderful day? " I asked and I immediately regretted it. Cuz just as I said that Indy started crying. And the glare I was receiving from Rusty was practically piercing my heart.Why is Indy even crying?

" Jack, you're my best friend " Rusty said calmly and I nodded " but I swear, one more word from your mouth and I'm gonna punch you in the face " he said in the most serious way.

I don't know if I'm just too stupid.I'm probably not supposed to be in Bigschool right now. I think I should be in kindergarten.BecauseI Don'tUnderstandAnythingThatIsGoingOnRightNow

Why is Rusty angry?What did I do?Why is Indy crying?What's so bad about saying it's a wonderful day?

SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT IS HAPPENING!!!

I looked around and saw Mackenzie sitting with Bluey. They were talking. But Bluey also looked sad.I just noticed that most of the class looks sad. I wonder what happened.

Maybe something bad happened that's why saying it's a wonderful day made Rusty angry.

I looked back at Rusty who was comforting Indy.

I'm about to regret this. Rusty said I shouldn't say anything but I have to ask " Did someone die? "

Just then Indy cries became louder and I immediately regretted asking that.

Rusty glared at me before saying " RUN " in a very angry tone.

Knowing Rusty, he's capable of a lot of things, including murder, maybe. So I didn't wait to find out what he'll do to me so I quickly scurried off and went over to where Mackenzie was seated.

" Oh hey Jack " Mackenzie said.

" Hey MK, hey Bluey " I replied while Bluey waved at me.

" So...uhh...what are you doing here? " MK asked.

I'm no dummy.I instantly got the message, he wants to be alone with Bluey. But, I still needed to know what happened.Unlike Rusty, MK is pretty chill so asking him wouldn't be a problem.

I took a deep breath before asking. " Did someone die? "

Before Mk could even respond, Bluey got up and said " Don't say that " she scoffed then walked out of the classroom.

Immediately regretted that.

" Jack, get out " Mk said while glaring at me.

Forget everything I said about Mk being chill, Mk is not chill, I repeat, Mk is not chill.

I ran out of the classroom.

I still don't get why everyone hates me, what did I do?

I wondered around the school for a while then I spotted Lucky sitting alone on a chair at the lost and found area, which is practically our hang out area.

" Hey Lucky " I said. I didn't even notice that he wasn't in class probably because I was too busy being hated on.

" hey Jack " he replied not even looking at me. He was way too deep in thought. Wonder what's he's thinking about.

" Lucky, can I ask you something? " I asked.

" Sure, what is it? " He said as he glanced a look at me.

Let's try again" Did someone die? "

" Jack, don't say that " Lucky said, his expression changing from normal to...sad?

" I don't get it, what happened? " I asked

" Didn't you hear? " He asked. I shook my head.

Hear what?

" Honey was dognapped " he stated blankly then looked away from me going back into the realm of thought.

" What? " I asked though I heard what he said very clearly.

Honey has been dognapped

How's that even possible?Who would do such a thing?Why?Where?When?How?

A lot of questions came to mind but I couldn't ask Lucky cuz he probably doesn't know.

" I know, it's hard to wrap your head around this, but, she'll be fine " Lucky said.

This is soo not real.

That's why Bluey and Indy were crying.
