Chapter 23- I heard what happened

MONDAYBLUEY

I woke up this morning feeling awful. Yesterday we reported Honey's case to the cops and they said they'll handle it.But...The two day time limit has expired and no one knows what nightmare will do or has done to Honey. Worst part is, I still still gotta go to school today.

I got out of bed and went to get ready. I brushed my teeth and took my bath.After that was done I went to have breakfast. Then Bingo and I went to the bus stop waiting for the school busses.

" Soo, uhh...was Honey really kidnapped? " Bingo asked out of nowhere.

" Yeah " I replied trying to avoid further questions.

" How? " She asked.

" Gosh, I don't know. Do I look like I've kidnapped anyone before " I yelled at her. I don't even know why I yelled. Probably because she was getting annoying.

" No...I meant... like... what was she doing when- "

" Bingo not now " I interrupted her next question. I didn't feel like talking about that.

Just then, Lucky and his little brother arrived. Chucky waved at Bingo and she waved back. She then went over to talk to him while Lucky came to me

" So, how're you doing? " Lucky asked.

" Awful " I replied.

" Same. But things will get better " he said as Bingo's bus arrived. Chucky and Bingo got into the bus and waved goodbye, and Lucky and I waved back.

We both stood there in silence not wanting to talk about what happened. After a short while, our bus arrived and we went in.

I went all the way to the back seat where the three of us usually sit. I sat there in silence waiting for us to reach Indy's bus stop. While waiting in silence and looking down at the ground, I saw the shadow of someone and I heard a familiar voice calling me. " Hey Bluey " the voice said softly. I looked up to see it was Mackenzie.

Great, just who I need.

MACKENZIE

I got on the bus and sat beside Rusty who was on his phone.

" Hey dude, what's up " I said as we fist bumped.

" I'm good and you " he replied.

" Bro not at all " I said making him look at me curiously.

" Yo, what happened? " He asked as he put his phone in his backpack and adjusted himself to face me.

" Dude, I don't even know anymore " I said still trying to process everything.

" What do you mean by that, tell me what happened " he demanded.

" So you know the girls were acting weird right? " I started.

" What girls? " He asked like he didn't know who I was talking about.

" I'm talking about Bluey and Indy, the girls " I replied.

" Oh, them, so?, What does Indy have to do with me " He asked.

What is wrong with this guy.

" First of all, you were the one who asked, second, I never said it had anything to do with you " I replied his stupid question." Now can I continue? " I asked waiting for an answer.

" Yeah, yeah, sure " he replied nodding his Head.

" So as I was saying, the girls were acting weird, like they didn't want to talk to us or to the others " Rusty nodded his head as I continued." So on Friday my Dad called me and he was on the phone with Bluey's dad, and then he asked me about the whereabouts of Bluey "

" What?, How were you supposed to know didn't she like dump you or something " Rusty said.

This idiot.

" I didn't get dumped we were never even a thing, you got dumped " I replied his stupid comment.

" What no I- "

" That's not the point " I interrupted what ever stupid words were going to come out of his mouth." So I told my dad that I didn't know, and later he told me that Bluey got kidnapped " I said waiting for his reaction.

" What!, No way " he gasped. " Wait, hold up. You talked to Bluey on Saturday right? " He asked.

" Yeah I know, turns out that she wasn't kidnapped but she just went somewhere and came back really late " I replied.

" Oh ok, that makes sense " Rusty said.

" That's not it " I said as I adjusted my self closer to Rusty." The worst news is..." I looked around to make sure no one was eavesdropping " The cops have filed our friend Honey, missing " I concluded.

" What? " Rusty asked like he didn't understand what I said.

" It means that Honey was kidnapped. It's even on the news " I replied.

" NO WAY! NO FREAKING WAY! " Rusty gasped as he covered his mouth with his hands like he didn't believe what I just told him.

" That was the same reaction I had when I heard it " I said.

" What! How did it happen? " He asked still in shock.

" I don't know, but the cops said the last place she was sighted was at the hospital " I replied

" What was she doing there? " Rusty questioned me like I was there.

" Well my Mum said that she was with Bluey, Indy and Lucky when they went to see Jean luc " I replied.

" Is Indy ok? " Rusty asked

What is wrong with this guy

" Dude, Indy's not the person I'm worried about " I said

" Oh right you're worried about Bluey " he replied.

" NO! I'm worried about Honey " I said.

" Yeah, sorry " he replied. " Wait what happened to Jean luc? "

" I have no idea " I said as I saw Bluey get on the bus. " I'mma be right back " I said to Rusty as I went over to where Bluey was seated.

She was seating at the far end of the bus while looking down at the ground." Hey Bluey " I said softly cuz I know she's probably hurting right now.She looked up at me then back down. I sat down beside her thinking of what to say.

" Umm, how are you? " I asked.

Idiot, you can clearly see she's not okay

She didn't respond, she just kept looking down. I knew she didn't want to talk to anyone right now but still, I couldn't let her be alone.

" I heard what happened to Honey " I said.

" LOOK MACKENZIE, NOT NOW " she yelled

That's it. I'm never gonna be called Kenzie again

" I'm sorry " I replied.Why are girls so hard to understand.

After saying that She started crying.

What am I supposed to do now.

Well that chapter was something.I wrote that in one day cuz I was bored and I didn't feel like reading my books. We are at chapter 23 and I still don't have a straight plot for this story. I don't even know where I'm going with this.Well anywayVote and comment<3
